Just blogging to say I hit level 20. I've been on 19 since the end or July, which tells you how much I've been on here lately. Though I've been getting more time lately, so I hope to catch up with everyone.
So what has everyone been up to lately?

Hi everyone! It's been a while hasn't it?
So what has everyone been up to lately?
I've been MIA, for about 3 or 4 weeks I think. The whole week before I left for Italy was crazy, looking for everything I needed. Then I was in Italy for about ten days. Got home and the next day took a 4hr car ride to take grandma to visit her bf. Came home went to work, baby sat Piper, more work and then yesterday was my birthday, so it was a big family thing.
I haven't even had time to develop my pictures, but I've uploaded a few hundred of the six hundred or so I took. So next blog expect lots of pics of Rome. Which was awesome! I enjoyed cruising on a seqway around the Colosseum and the roman forums. Another tourist even took a pic of me - he loved the segway. I had lots of fun, and I'll tell you all about it when I get a chance
BTW did anyone see Prison Beak?

I haven't been on in a while. I've been busy with work, my volunteer project, and finding everything I will need for my trip to Roma next week.
Baby Update
Piper is now about 9 1/2 pounds. My sister is still in a lot of discomfort because of the hospital not stitching/stapling her back together after the c section properly. She's had home-care for the last couple of weeks, but now the part that was healing is coming apart again, so they are sending her to the wound clinic. The nurse didn't think she would be healed for aleast a few months. She isn't supposed to be lifting the baby, but she does anyway. She is so in love with her little princess.Parlez-vous Olympics?
I don't really watch the Olympics but it's always on at my sisters. She has even started taping all Michael Phelps(?) events so I can watch them. I think she enjoys them a lot more than me. When she watches his events you think she was watching a thriller with all the nail biting.Trip Prep
Yesterday, I bought a power adapter/converter so I could use my hair dryer in Europe. I spent $50 on the kit to find out my hair dryer wattage is to high for the converter, and they may already have one in the room.
So I thought I could use it to charge my camcorder. Wrong. Can't hook electronics to it. Well, maybe it will come in handy on another trip.Cinema
A couple of weeks ago I went to see Mama Mia. It was awesome. It was the most fun I have ever had at the theatre in a long time. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen. The x file movie on the other hand, was disappointing.Alex
My nephew Alex, step sister's son, is having his 2nd birthday party while I am away, so I am going to miss that. My sister isn't going - issues with my dad and she doesn't want to take the baby out it the sun- so I can't drop of my presents with her. I will have to find sometime this weekend to take his presents over. I'm not sure how I am going to work that out yet.The tube
I've been watching Flashpoint lately. I'm starting to really enjoy it, but stll can't wait until NCIS and Supernatural are back. I'm still trying to puzzle out how Dean is going to get out of hell, and ride around in his old body that was devoured by hellhounds, but I don't think I've worked anything out. I guess I'll have to wait to watch that unfold.Peace out!

Anyway today is just a quick update.
I saw and held my niece. She is very sweet, and goes through a ton of clothes. Recently bought her a couple outfits, a toy pony, cowboy boots and hat. Went shopping today. I picked up some stuff for Rome. I'm procrastination on this project I have to do. Back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend. It was a long weekend for us. Bye.

..Another blog.
I have finally made 100 friends, actually now it's 101. I already hit this goal for next year
So welcome new friends: FrigginGoddess and R3d_Rummii (hope I got those user names right. I'm doing it from memory)Yesterday I submitted 4 things to a personal guide - never submiited to a person guide before - all four submissions were rejected
I've had other submissions rejected before for formatting issues or I was beaten to the punch. I don't think any of these apply. Anyway, I've never had all submission to one guide denied. I think that's the last time I go for a personal guide. I think I'll stick with show guides from now on. Some editors are good, other's not so much. Anway Dmarex from the NCIS guide is great. When she denies stuff it is for a valid reason. I know I've had some rejected submissions myself.
I made another video. It's about NCIS characters McGee and Abby. Let me know what you guys think.

I leveled up today.
I moved from a land shark to a Fall guy. I think I'll like this level. Maybe I'll hit level 20 before the end of August; even though, I'll be gone a week somewhere in August. I'm heading to Rome, I really got to figure out what I'm going to need. I guess I'll have to go shopping. I love buying new clothes.
Does anyone know what jump the shark means? I kind of have a vague idea, but could use some clarification. Does the term originate from Happy Days?

Baby
She is so tiny! She is her Daddy's Doppelganger. The two couldn't look more alike if they were twins. She sleeps a lot, but that is to be expected. She is has a big bandage around one of her feet. She has to be pricked every couple of hours to test her glucose, because my sister had gestational diabetes. So far she looks like she is Ok. She could only open one eye, the other was shut tight with sleep. She was able to open them both just before I left. She has these speckles on her nose, because she was overdue.(basically white freckles). Her one eye is crossed, but that should go away within the week along with the speckles. She is adorable, and has already gone through a dozen outfits. I had to drop by her place and pick her up some fresh one. I took a few pics of her sleeping, and I am using one for my wallpaper.
Sister
She is really pale and soar because of the staples they put in her, so she can't walk on her own. Husband has to help her back and forth to the bathroom. Talked to her, and she told me that she had three spinal taps. First two didn't work. Third one worked so well it froze everything; including paralyzing her lungs. She said before she passed out all she remembered were doctors head floating above her telling to breath. They stuck a breathing tube down her throat to get her to breathe, and rushed her to the OR where she delivered the baby. (Husband looked after baby until she got out of surgery and woke up). Very scary! She can't hold the baby much because of the pain of staples. They get removed in about two weeks. She will be happy to see them go so she can be more hands on with the little one. When I was leaving she had a bit of a fever again, but the antibiotics should wipe that out. Labour was 36 hours. She hadn't eaten in about that long. So I brought her some food. The nurse even admitted the hospital food was hit or miss. So far they have all been misses.
Sister's husband
He's on double duty looking after baby and sister. He has to help her up, and feed and change baby. He is very tired, but happy too. He dotes on his little princess, which is sweet.
Hospital Outtakes
I went down stairs to the tunnels under the hospital to fetch my sister some water. Her juice wasn't sitting well. Anyway, I got there and was heading back I went to go back, and security had locked me in the basement. One side of these doors was me and the other side was the elevator back up to the hospital. I looked around and tried to get back another way, but there was no access. I finally found an intercom to security. They guys asked me about half a dozen questions before they opened the doors. I have less trouble at airports than the hospital. I finally got back!
When we got there Mom kept screaming at me to slow down. I guess I was walking too fast. I had a big heavy baby bag and a bunch of balloons and I was still a head of her. I guess I must have been excited

This was my one day reprieve to see them, and then it's back to the ten day rule. I'll take what I can get. I have a cute picture to keep me company until that day comes.
So what has everyone else been up to lately?

We finally got a call from my brother in-law this morning. Apparently my sister is "fine" actually ment she had a bad reaction to some drug they gave her, and she had to be rushed into emergency surgery(which was the doctor's scary option)
She and the baby had a fever for a while, but now their doing better
So Piper Lucy-Rose was born yesterday July 21, 2008 at 11:03 p.m. She weighs 7lb and 14 ounces.
What is really exciting my sister is rethinking the ten day waiting period and I may get to go to the hospital tomorrow and see my sister and Piper

Anyone who read my last stress enduced rant/update/vent just disregard it. Just the ravings of worried sister with about two hours of sleep
. Today's a new day and everything is all right!

Piper is one day over due.
My sister isn't faring too well. She saw her Doctor today, and her blood pressure is spiking. The baby is affecting her blood chemistry. They've put her on an emergency induction list, and given her stronger meds.
She took one, and from then two hours later when she went to her fetal assessment appointment it had gone up again. They wanted to keep her in the hospital. I'm not sure why they didn't. I just know they said they were going to send a nurse over to check her blood pressure every few hours. I was over earlier to see her, and the hospital hadn't called or no nurse had showed up. I'm really worried.
My sister said she may have to be put under anaesthesia, and if that happens it's much more riskier for her. I'm worried something bad might happen to her, but I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the new meds will finally kick in, and all the scarier options will come off the table.
Please think good thoughts for her. Thanks.

2 days until Piper is scheduled to debue. (She's still not here yet. I hope she born real soon.)
So I tried not to read the spoilers...tried real hard for about a minute. What I know isn't much but it sounds like it will be fun to see the first episode if this intel is to be trusted.
McGee gets groupies at his new job. Sounds like that could be a blast. I don't think he's ever been worshipped. Looks like he might enjoy the new job more that I thought he would. I'm still hoping that he gets bored. Hero worship gets old real fast - no experience in that department- but I can imagine!

Daddy David will make an appearance. I've been hoping to see this since the end of season four. I so thrilled
. It will be a much better strory line for Ziva when she shot that guy and acted all sorts of crazy (sorry to anyone who liked that episode, but I disliked it immensely.) No news on Tony, so maybe we won't see him chasing rats on the USS Regan until the second
a happy note Agent Lee is back!
I'm not sure for how long.
There is a possible rumour that someone is going to die - not sure who - hope it's not her. Peace Out!

4 days until Princess Piper's due date.
My sister started a baby pool among our family. I got the due date and the 19th. It's an interesting way to wait for the baby.
Not much else to report. I watched BB10 on the tube. It's the same old stuff with interchangeable faces. Sadly, it's back to work tomorrow.
As for the wireless problem turns out windows onecare is blocking it. I'm not sure what I have to do to fix it, I think maybe I'll switch to Norton. I don't think they have this problem.
Have a great day!

8 days until Piper is due to be born.
Any day now...
I finally went up another level (after three or so months). I'm on level 18 now.
My wireless connection seems to be working half the time, which is very frustrating.
I've been watching some old TV shows on youtube lately. I'm starting to get back into The Hogan Family and Just the Ten of Us. I used to watch these when I was younger.
It's fun to watch characters and storylines that I hadn't seen in ages.
Besides that I haven't been doing anything else except working and waiting for my niece to be born.
Hope everyone is having a great summer. Did you see any good movies lately?
I saw Hancock recently. It fell flat for me. I was hoping it would have been better. The laughs were forced and the humour was a little juvenile.
That's all for me.

9 days until Piper's due date.
It's been a while since I've logged into my tv.com account. I never got back to my last blog.
So how is everyone doing?
I've been swamped with work and my family. I feel like I'm finally getting a chance to breathe, so I thought I'd pick up where I left off last time – my NCIS theories.
So here goes:
1) I see McGee getting bored over in cyber crimes. I think the cyber crimes guys won't seen much action outside of the office, and McGee getting bored will head out on his own without back up…
2) Ziva will stay in the United States instead of heading back to Israel either working for MOSSAD abroad or some freelance gig of her own.
3) Gibbs won't like his new team.
4) Abby will help keep the team communicating – yes, she'll help Vance see the light. If she doesn't have to follow a new dress code.
5) We'll start to warm up to Vance (I'm not even totally aboard with this, but I heard a rumour he's going to become regular cast)
6) The team gets back together!
This is more my wish list
1) McGee gets maimed when he goes off alone, Abby runs to his bedside, Vance see the light and reinstates the team Gibbs. Abby and McGee get married. (I know a little farfetched but one can dream.)
2) We find out anything about Ziva's background, and we get back to a more kick-ass Ziva.
3) More head smacks!
4) Tons of McAbby moments, even if they don't play out like scenario one.
I haven't been watching tv for a couple of months, so I have no idea what's happening. This is really different cause I'm a regular tv junkie, but I had myself convinced I'd just tune into watch NCIS and Supernatural in September. HAHA! I was out for dinner the other night (my Uncle's birthday), and they had tv's up and I happened to glance up in time to see a Heroes commercial. The new season sounds awesome. I'm sure I my house of cards will fall with the more commercial I see throught my favourite shows.
Are there any good midseason shows I'm missing out on?
Have a great Tuesday!
*ticket news: Ended up giving them away. One for a birthday present, another family member, and my step-sister (who was hysterical when she got the ticket. BIG REBA fan!

34 days until Piper is due.
It's Friday the thirteenth.
I bought concert tickets to the Reba/McEntire concert, 3 more than I needed because I was trying to make everyone happy. So hopefully I'll be able to sell the extra tickets on ebay or else I'm stuck with these tickets.
I was looking back at my season five speculations for NCIS I was wrong about everything.
So let's hope I hit the mark this year with my speculations.Season Six NCIS:
1. The team comes back together (I don't think there is anyway I could get this one wrong).
2. Ziva stays in the USA instead of returing to Israel (Maybe they need a MOSSAD liason officer in the FBI)
3. McGee is bored in cyber crimes.

59 days until my niece Piper is due
Pregnancy Update: At week 33 my sister was diagnosed with gesational diabetes, which means she'll have to prick herself 4 times a day to test her blood sugar. She has a stick diet now, and if her diet doesn't help manage her diabetes, she'll be giving her insulin shots. I really hope the diet change works.
Current Mood:
Can you tell me what fictional character this is and from what show? ( It's an easy one)
PM me the answers.
My stuff: Went to Doc Walker concert the other day. It was awesome. I love them, and new every song. I was in seventh heaven.

I knew Jenny would be the one to die so I wasn't suprised there, but for a moment I thought she made it out before the shooting started, and would die later. It wasn't as suprising as when Kate died, but I loved the impact her death had on the rest of the team. I actually teared up watching Abby deal with her death.
What I wasn't expecting was that Ziva, Tony, and McGee would be reassigned. I was like OMG; however, I was confident that Season six would bring the team back together, and for the most part I still am. There is about 10% of me worried that NCIS might take the House, CSI, or Chicago Hope route. It better not.
As for Vance I actually started warming up to him through the ep, especially when he and McGee seemed to hit it off. McGee was never really that close with his bosses, and I thought it would be a nice change. But as soon as he started shredding document I had a bad feeling, and now would happily have him carted off to nowhere's land.
I guessing they'll start pulling the team back together in the first episode of next season. I just hope they don't start three months later with Gibbs already bonding with his new team, Ziva in Israel, Tony sailing the ocean blue, and McGee chained to a desk.
On a side note there seemed to be some great mcabby moments. It looks like Abby doesn't like McGee's clothes. I thought his taste was improving...

It's now 60 days until Piper's due date.Baby Blues
June 1st is the baby shower I'm throwing for my sister. Right now, the planning of the event is giving me a headache. I still have to call a bunch of guests to find out if they are attending (so I can get a head count for the cater). I also have to hunt down people who have sent their rsvp and haven't sent me their baby pics(it's for a game I'm doing).
Today was the last straw. I picked up some custom shirts I had made for the event. The lady asked if I liked them. I said yes after briefly glancing at them. I get them home and take a closer look. All the shirts have my niece to-be's name spelled wrong
. For example: I wanted one shirt to say - Piper's sizzling Great Grandma instead I got Pipers's sizzling Great Grandma. So tomorrow I have to phone them to see if they can recheck the workorder to see how I wrote it for them on the form (I highly doubts I spelled it like that once, never mind multiple times for the different shirts.) Their policy is all items are final sale, I hope that doesn't apply to mistakes they made made. Now on the other hand if I actually wrote that (I'm thinking there is less than a 1% chance I did) I'll be stuck with a bunch of useless mispelled shirts
. Now I'm crossing my fingers that the guy actually admits he made a mistake and replaces them. If not, anyone have any idea on how to cover up an extra s.? I'm thinking some kind of patch or fabric embelem. Supernatural
On a positive note, I was actually able to catch the season finale of Supernatural. It was really awesome. Lots of angst and humour. Cannot wait until next season. I cannot wait to see how they resolve the cliff hanger.
NCIS Woes
Unfortunatley I won't get to watch the 2 hour season finale of ncis - so that means I'll have to record it and watch it later(it's not the same as watching it when it first airs). It's my cousin's birthday that night so I'm stuck going out to dinner with the family.
Anyone want to adopt my cousin?
My cousin is turning 28, and yesterday I went shopping with her. She first went to purchase a couple of items, and was disappointed(that is a polite term for it) to find out that her items were not part of the buy one get one sale (anyone could plainly see they weren't included in the sale:roll
. Next, I went to purchase a dress and the clerk's machine breaks down. I'm standing at the counter waiting for the sales lady to fix the machine. It's not really a big deal, and my cousin's waiting with me. I guess she took the machine breaking down and her own mistake as an attack on her. So my cousin says under her breath "What a b*tch" (referring to the sales lady), loud enough for the whole store to hear (it felt that way at any rate), including the poor sales lady
. I was mortified. Someone needs some anger management ****s. I think that's the last time I will go shopping with her. I guess I'll have to wait to see what she does at dinner
, when I'm not wishing I was home watching ncis, and finding out which of the cast is getting killed off.Do you think I could get away with wearing my I'd rather be watching NCIS t-shirt to her party? That shirt would never fit a situation more perfectly.

My Life
I got back last Wednesday from a solid week of packing up grandma's stuff. I think the only break I got was sleep, but Grandma kept waking up at 3 am to complain about the other tenants playing tricks on her. Then I helped the guys move all the stuff. I have to go back again to help my mom finish cleaning up. Another four hour drive each way. Lucky me. Right now, the house is filled with twenty or so box and all the tables are all covered with stuff. It's very daunting.
Dexter
Anyway I finally watched all of season 2 of Dexter. I think I like season 1 better; however, I was happy with what transpired with Lila, but not what happened with Detective Doakes.
NCIS
I finally got to see Stakeout. I loved it! Lots of humour, and happily another episode on Tuesday. Rumour - I'm not sure how accurate this is but I heard that a main character is exiting this season in a dramatic fashion. I'm really hoping this is Jenny. I wouldn't be heart broken if that happened. I haven't enjoyed her since season 3.
Birthday News
My mom's birthday is on Wednesday so I doubt I'll be on much this week. We're doing the typical dinner and presents.
Italian
I also started Italian cl***on Sunday. Lots and lots of homework. Everything is swirling in my head. I'm not great with pronouncing the words. So I have to learn how to pronounce their 21 letter alphabet. Come up with four word examples showcasing vowel sounds, and O and E have closed and open variations.
