With two albums released by Island Def Jam Records, a major label subsidiary of Universal Music Group, Jon had his name made famous by his performance of the Oscar nominee song "So Close", from the movie Enchanted. Endowed with good looks, a beautiful voice and an incredible ability on the piano, Jon calls more and more attention every day. nightatmuseum

I have just watched "Night at the Museum: Battle of Smithsonian" and it was truly amazing. The sequel of "Night at the Museum" was even better than it because we already knew all about the museum coming to life at night so there was more action and less talk, if you get what I mean.

This movie does not happen on the same museum as the previous one but at the Smithsonian Institute, which is a complex of nineteen museums. In this movie most of the statues that were in the New York Museum are taken to be stored at the Smithsonian because the museum was being modernized. The problem is when the Egyptian stone is also takes there which means that the biggest museum in the world would become alive at night and as if it wasn't enough Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria), an evil Pharaoh, decides to use the stone to bring his army back to life and take over the world.

Kahmunrah makes all the old museum people hostage and they call for Larry's (Ben Stiller) help. In the movie we come across Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams), Al Capone (Jon Bernthal), Napoleon Bonapart (Alain Chabat), Abraham Lincoln (Hank Azaria), etc. Together, Larry and Amelia try to put everything back to its right place given us a lot of fun. In the end everything is right again and Larry learns the secret of happiness.

In overall the movie is very funny, which is no surprise when we are talking about a movie with Ben Stiller. The special effects were all amazing too and the music, composed by Alan Silvestri, is just perfect for the movie. "Night at the Museum: Battle of Smithsonian" was written by Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon, and directed by Shawn Levy.

I read today at Globo.com about a research done by Vuze, the creator of one of the most popular clients of Bit Torrent. According to the results of the research those who download illegal material on the internet are the same ones that spend more money on off-line entertainment and also in DVDs. They interviewed 1.299 people from the age of 18 to 44 and found out that users of Bit Torrent clients go to the movies eight times a year while people who don't use P2P go only six times. Those that make downloads also rent more movies than those who don't and also buy sixteen DVDs against only thirteen of the others. Gilles BianRosa, chairman of Vuze, said this is probably something Hollywood is not aware of; maybe the ones they've been fighting against are their best consumers.

Finally we had a research like this because after all, not all people who make downloads do this because they don't want to pay for what they consume. Some really uses it as a way to choose better what to buy.

The Jonas Brothers released a new official video this week for the song "Fly With Me", it's the second song of the new album to get a music video. "Fly With Me" video wasn't as good as "Paranoid", it seems that it was shot during their rehearsals for shows (And that piano Nick was playing? The piano of my dreams!). Anyway the song is good but again, not as good as "Paranoid", which turned into my favorite song of them (you can buy it here ). The campaign for the new album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" have been massive, with music videos, live webcasts on their Facebook page and a show which you can watch for free here: http://soundcheck.walmart.com/jonas-brothers .

The new album comes out on June 16th, and for what I've listened of it, it's going to be a far better album than the previous ones, the Jonas Brothers are certainly more mature. Let's wait and see, I mean, listen to. To watch the video click here .

Yesterday Shonda Rhimes wrote on Twitter that Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice writes would be back to work on that morning and I was already happy to know that they were back to write the new seasons! Today we learned on Grey's Anatomy's Facebook that the next season premiere will be on Thursday September 24th, which means we only have to wait another 108 days to know what happens to Izzie and George! Let's start the countdown to see how the best cliffhanger ever written will end.

Well, I know that the question sounds weird itself but let's just explain it, I'm Brazilian, I live in Brazil and my first language is Portuguese. So, is it weird that I'd rather read in English than Portuguese? Two months ago I decided to read the Harry Potter books in Portuguese, it felt the right thing to do because I've read all of them in English and as a Brazilian (I'm proud to be Brazilian, by the way) I thought I should read them in my language.

But the thing is, Harry Potter just didn't seem right in Portuguese. I had a lot of trouble keeping myself going through the books especially because of the translation mistakes. I'm not a specialist in translation, I wouldn't dare to try to translate anything with more than two pages but as a Harry Potter fan I could notice things that weren't exactly what Rowling wrote in English, maybe because the translator wasn't into the books so she wouldn't notice these little details. Anyway I read all the books but I have no intentions to do it ever again, they will just be there in my library, untouched.

To test if my problem was specifically with the Harry Potter books I tried reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen in Portuguese and for no success, this was even worse if that's possible, I didn't even finish it.

Well, weird or not, the truth is that I can't make myself read in Portuguese a book that was originally written in English. I just hope that one day I can read more books in their original language than just the ones written in English.

"Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!" Mt 18:7

So Jesus said that "Such things must come, but woe to the man through such things come", He was talking about sins, I'm talking about the truth, maybe? Every Grey's Anatomy fan knows that Katherine Heigl, who plays Izzie Stevens, said last year that she wasn't running for the Emmy because she wasn't given material good enough to show her talent and deserve it. Okay, Shonda said she wasn't insulted, everybody involved in the show denied that it could cause Heigl her place in the cast. And I truly believe that since the fifth season started with Izzie still working at Seattle Grace Hospital and went like this until the first moment Danny Duquette appeared. When she started seeing Danny and he said he was "there for her" I saw she dying and leaving to heaven (or hell?) with him. Well, Katherine said what she wanted and it was the truth, Grey's Anatomy was going down when she said that and the new season brought it back to its original place, right on top. But now the actress may pay for saying whatever she wanted by leaving the show, could they kill Izzie Stevens to have Katherine out of the way? Did they wait to do it so it wouldn't seem suspicious? Well, many people may be thinking about that right now but I don't think so. I think that maybe they intended to kill her but I don't believe they'll go through it because, let's just face it, Katherine did a great job (now she does deserve the Emmy) and Izzie turned out into a really nice and important character. I have to confess that the best storyline of this season for me was Izzie's, it was just amazing, specially having Danny back (oh I love Danny). So the rumor is that one of the two characters that ended the season fighting to live will really die and I do think it's George. The way I see it, George will die and Izzie won't leave the elevator to go with him but come back to the bright future she wanted. I may be wrong but something tells me, Izzie is not going to die even tough this was the original idea.

People make mistakes, that's how we learn. But if you don't get over it, if you don't learn your lessons and face forward, then your mistakes will have been for nothing. And all the suffering, all the pain will turn into a big hole in your soul and you will no longer know who you are. That's why I say, no matter how badly you screwed up, you have to face your demons and try again because the true defeat is not when you fail but when you give up the fight.

I don't believe in destiny like the unavoidable path we have to follow. I believe we all have a purpose which some of you could call destiny but we have a choice about it. You go through life building this destiny; your choices can take you closer to it or take you far away. The thing is, you've got to be ready when the opportunities appear to you and sometimes you are just not ready. Sometimes we are just too messed up to see the truth. Sometimes you just lose your way and not always you can take it back.
