Although I was kind of let down by Bioshock after having finished it the games that have been released recently have more than made up for it.
I bought Assassins Creed and Call of Duty 4 last week and now I just don't have time to do anything but play. I love Assassins Creed even though it's really repetitive, it's just so well made. It's also a step forward in gaming and considering there's going to be two more AC games they can really fix the problems that the first game has. Call of Duty 4 isn't revolutionary but it's so much fun and easy to play. Some FPS games on consoles have really horrible controls like The Darkness for example, somehow it's just hard to hit your target. I never use auto-aim because I don't think I should have to. Games like Rainbow Six: Vegas and CoD4 don't require auto-aim because the mechanics just work so well. I'm also buying Mass Effect this week, and even though the GS review wasn't what I expected it to be, a lot of people have called it the best game ever, so I'm confident it'll be a great game.
Other than that I'm hoping to win my first match in The Starcraft Union's upcoming tournament, I haven't played any matches for about a month, but I think I should be okay.
I finally got my 360 2 days ago.
I can't describe the feeling I had when I got the papers from the post office, [360 Premium + Bioshock]. I rushed to get the package and I rushed home to start plugging the 360 in, unfortunately I live with my brother, and I don't have my own TV, so I have to share a TV with my brother. Imagine playing an insanely addicting game and being cut off because your brother wants to watch his **** anime.
Anyway, I've played if for a while now and I'm loving it, I keep thinking it's gonna end too soon, so I try not to play too much. I ordered Rainbow Six: Vegas so I've got something to play after I'm done with Bioshock.
In case anyone reads this, please recommend a game I should buy to kill some time before the heavier titles are released (Halo 3, Assasin's Creed, Mass Effect).
This is my first blog on TV.com, anyway:
Entourage is the best show on TV right now. Battlestar Galactica is better, but it isn't on TV right now, Entourage is on in the summer. I remember last summer when they aired an entire season over the summer, it was a good summer. It was the same thing this summer, except this season was better.
From Medellin to Cannes, it's been the usual Entourage humour, which is a good thing, I love the humor in the show. The humour and the cameos, although the latest cameo was pretty forced (Kanye West) I still loved it, I love the show, and I love Kanye and I respect that he needs to plug his new album (buy Kanye not 50).
Anyway, the dynamic doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon, Eric and Vince handling business, Turtle and Drama getting into ridiculous situations, I don't care, I love it.
