    Can't get out of bed in the mornings

    First I can't get to sleep early  then come morning I can barely make it out of bed.  Once I am up I am up but it is the getting there that is the problem . . . .

    Now I have to come up with strategies to get out of bed . . .  so now I have set the alarm back half hour . . . that gives me about three or four good wacks at the snooze button . . .  then I created a playlist in Media Player  . . . .  music is supposed to soothe the savage beast . . . . so far it is mostly working . . .  but it is kinda sad the effort that I have to put into it. Sad . . sad . . sad . .

    Whoo!!!!! That was close

    Another crappy morning when I am pissed at everything and everyone.  Then I go through a turn light and this huge truck breaks the light as I am going through. . . luckily my brain was working faster than I imagined and I pushed gas and burned rubber but man . . . .  that was really close.   Too close for comfort.  The thing is though . . . it kinda cured my crappy morning.

    Lost in Daydreams


    So this morning I am driving and a single thought sets off this wild daydream about the what-ifs and how I should have acted in a certain situation that I am now way too embarrassed to mention . . . you know those . .? the ones where you react ten minutes after you really should have let someone have it? . . . and all the things you should have said start coming to you .. . .? Yeah . . . one of those.

    So in the middle of my oh so very elaborate and edgy renactment where I am not lost for words or too upset to put thoughts together . . I mean snappy comeback after snappy comeback . . . then whooooaaaa, I am startled . . . only to realise that I am in the middle of driving but luckily I was on autopilot but if I don't watch it I will be heading into the process of totaling the trusted Honda.

    It has been one of those days.

    This Heat is terrible!!!

    It was this hot last year and then the hurricanes blew through . . .  so I guess I should not complain much . . .   I really did not enjoy having no electricity . . .   mostly because that meant no tv.

    How much Sleep do you get at nights?


    In the past . . . before television  became so popular . . . people used to sleep 10 hours per night on average.

    I don't even get eight hours to begin with .

    I am thinking about a recent family gathering and the things I had in common with family members that I was just meeting for the very first time. 

    Funny huh?  You can't hide from your genes no matter what you do.  It's all there in the way you turn your head . . they way you walk, the laugh and the smile . . .  awww all of a sudden you see someone staring at you . . . .  just because you have his smile . . or your eyes look just like . . .

    Putting my life on a CD . . . oh wow!!

    I have a couple of songs that I love . . .but then my love of songs kind of varies . . I love them for the words as well as for the way they make me feel . . . and when I go from the feeling then the words are sometimes far from relevant.

    Happy 4th . . . . .

    I hope you all have a blast today.  I am planning to go see the Lake House and X-Men today . . .  then go see the fireworks by the beach later (If I feel up to going there . . .  otherwise I will just go to the Clubhouse and see what they are doing for the night.
