  Gamespot EXTREMELY Quick to Respond to My Concerns about Download Manager

  I commented at 6:03pm EST (3 Server Time)

  I came home after being out to watch Oceans 13 (yeah, it was worth seeing. Good times!) and a response wit a more than satisfactory fix was posted.

  The New Gamespot Download Manager is Insideous

  I have a bone to pick with Gamespot.com management if they think their new download manager is a good idea.

  Why in the hell should I wait through half an hour of your ads. simply to be presented with a download? To pay for the bandwidth your legions of fans are consuming daily I'm sure, but what of the fact that this application keeps loading up after you've downloaded?

  I had to uninstall it today because I turned on my PC to be greeted with several new running processes on my gaming rig.

  You MUST understand that gamers don't like anything other than the running application using resources on thier computer, no matter how miniscule.

  As well, why should I seed your lame-assed demo downloads, however "new" and "fresh" they are after I'm done downloading? I've already paid some of your salary by watching half an hour of ads!

  Drop this download manager crap this instant or make it not initialize at boot. That's the last time I download anything from you guys!
