The Bullet List:
- Watched Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. While it is the weakest of the trilogy, that doesn't mean anything. They are all amazing, Two Towers just gets forgotten between the charming beginning and epic conclusion. The Battle of Helms Deep just may be the best battle to ever appear on a big screen. 5/5
- Watched Pulp Fiction to kick off my Quentin Tarantino Christmas marathon. Needless to say, it's my favorite film of his. Every section of the film is cinematic gold and the characters really jump off the screen. 5/5
- Watched Reservoir Dogs, Tarantino's first film and one of his best. Many great characters and fine acting performances. Plot twist done right. 4/5
About five months ago, I bought a game because a few of you praised it and I found it in a bargain bin for $14. That game is Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It took me a while to play it, but since I finally did start a few days ago, it's been hard to put it down. The level of choice is pretty amazing, you can approach each mission in a variety of ways and deal with characters however you want. It all changes the outcome in the end. You can even play the entire game without killing anyone, or you can go guns blazing from start to finish. I prefer a mix of both. I take the stealth approach, but I'm not afraid to crack a few eggs. It's right up there with Metal Gear Solid as far as stealth goes. The one thing I do not like about the game is the story and the world that it takes place in, it's pretty boring and if the whole idea of this game is choice, I hate the idea of augmenting human revolution. So far, I can't defy orders and hand in my working papers as the enforcer of a drug pushing corporation. But with games, it's gameplay that matters, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution has some stellar gameplay. A true diamond in the rough.

A lot of awards right? Well, they will be spread across six blogs. Some will be cut, some will be added, and some will combine. I am holding off on doing this until after the holidays, there are still two key games I want to play that I will most likely be getting for Christmas. I start college on January 14th, so I will have a lot of free time on my hands until then. I doubt I will be blogging until after the 26th, so be sure to have a merry Christmas! Thanks for reading and please comment ![]()
