Battle Royale - 10/10

One of the smartest, horrificly realistic movies I have ever seen. Battle Royale is about a class of japanese students put on an island and forced to kill each other. I won't go to in depth since I want you to see the movie yourself, but the movie is wonderful on every level. The movie is deep, the amount of thought into the breakdown of friendships really focused on. This movie is a movie that should have never of existed. The great acting makes it feel as if you are actually watching these students die. This movie is not for the feint of heart. Understand this: the movie is not just senseless slaughter. It is well thought out, deep, sad, slaughter. The relationships between characters, the innocence of the characters, the will to survive, the basic instinct, everything in the movie is well thought.

Battle Royale 2 - 8/10

Not nearly as deep as the first movie, but still holding a fragment of the personal level of the first one. This movie is not better than the first and not nearly as horrifying, but if you enjoyed the first one, this is a must watch.

Hard Boiled - 9/10

Its no wonder why this movie is one of the pioneers of modern-day styalized action flicks such as the matrix, shoot-em up and so on. You can clearly see that this movie has dug it's claws into the action genre and left a wonderful scar. If your into gunplay, see this movie.

A Bittersweet Life - 8.5/10

An overall great movie that, to me, is the perfect feel. It has that cool vibe, that visual look, and that attitude that just makes me shiver. Chances are you won't find another movie that gives off this kind of vibe. The vibe is wonderful. The acting is good, the story is acceptable, and the little action in it is worth watching.

Alright, im going to do something different. Im going to start posting segments of speeches, moments and the such. They can be quotes or full paragraphs. "Everyone has lost something." The woman said before the thousands of people in the streets. "Homes, family, and friends. But know that to give up is a betrayal of everything they stood for." She put her head back slightly as the breeze caught her hair. "I know...it's hard." She said with a slightly broken, silent voice. "I know the sadness that comes before hapiness is a hard toll to pay...but stick with me. No, stick with us. With everyone that has lost something and maybe, just maybe, whatever is broken can be mended." She glanced around at her friends who gave her reassuring gestures. "Im not saying that everything lost will come back. Thats impossible. However, I am saying that the hapiness lost will be renewed and revived." A tear crawled down her cheek as she spoke. "Some of us may never fully heal. But why not try? Now we have all the time in the world. You no longer need to be scared. You no longer need to be afraid to live your lives the way you want." She looked at the sky as more tears fell. "Those that are dead...would want you to do so." She could hear the slight weeps of a few in the crowd. "And one last thing." She said. Her eyes, no longer filled with tears, were filled with hapiness and a natural soft glow of a warm heart. "For the people and friends we have lost...or dreams that have faded," She took a moment to remember. So much sorrow...so much hapiness. But in the end it was all worth it. Most people would wish that it had never happened. But she was glad she met him. She was glad that she fell in love with him. He gave her a reason to live. He gave her hapiness. He gave her memories to call her own. She lowered her head slightly. Even though he is gone, she was glad to have loved him. Life is full of hard choices and sorrow. But the hapiness that is there is worth that. She raised her head back up slowly and made eye contact with the crowd.

The Dark Knight - 10 out of 10

Possibly one of the best movies I have ever seen. I went to watch it at 12AM and the theater was packed. There were so many people it literally looked like an average friday night in there. With 8 screenings at the theater, all were sold out and packed full of people; 30 minutes before the film began. It was surely a night to remember as dedicated fans dressed up in their odd garbs for this masterpiece. Heathe Ledger's final piece is one for the record books: his role as The Joker is my all time favourite performance. Heathe Ledger makes it feel as if there was actually a Joker, it would be him. His performance is so realistic and insane that it makes you feel that there are people like that out there. It's hard to explain, but just imagine all other villains in all other movies. They don't scare you and it is just a movie to you right? Ya know why? Because those villains are only after the main character. So you feel as if that would never happen, thus taking away from the realism. However, Heathe's Ledger performance as the Joker is frighteningly good. You can feel the insanity. It is a villain that you feel could exist: he is after everybody. A sadistic, physcopathic murderer with twisted, sick humor that makes you shiver. It makes you think that there could be people like that in the world. Unlike past villains, The Joker in this film is not just after the main character. he is out to get anyone he feels like getting. He is a smart, complex villain with morals that, at times, make sense. This is what makes him frightening. The entire delivery is just astounding and so good that it seems like a dream. If I didn't know better, I would say that The Joker is real. The Joker's performance is funny, brutal, sadistic, frightening, and extremely entertaining. In every shot he was in, Heathe Ledger did an amazing job. There was no half-assed parts. There will be no actor like him. There will be no villain like him. However, it is not all ledger. The script written for him was perfect: the delivery just dealed the finishing punches to my awe struck state.

Even if you hate Batman. Even if you do not want to see it: watch this movie. Heathe Ledger's performance is one of a kind. The remainder of the review will come soon. It is currently 5:22AM and I havent slept.

Rest in Peace, Heathe Ledger.
