Recent gaming.....
Recently i have been playing a fair few games it is safe to say.
Last week i took a trip down to the town that i am going to university in starting September. I stayed with my friend who lives there now we spent the trip looking for houses. Well sort off. We ended up playing a massive 347 matches of Street Fighter IV over the 1 night i was there. That also did not stop us from playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica X as well.
So it was quite an eventful gaming week, i also was getting to the end of FF VII: Crisis core. Which is fantastic easily worth the £10 i payed for it! I also have got back into getting trophies on the PS3, i recently just spent a whole night getting all the Trophies i could, i am now up to 199 on Level 5 and i do not know what percent.
I am thinking of either starting a podcast or video blog soon, i am not sure which anybody got any comments on that at all?
Also i downloaded a fully fuctionally DS emulator which has nearly every DS game already programmed on it, so i have been playing again alot more Elite Beat Agents as that officially is the best rhythm game ever created.

Handhelds can you be bothered?
Recently as some of you might know i got my PSP back, battered missing an analogue stick and has a scrached screen. But none the less my PSP. I do also have a DS.
When i recently got my PSP back i looked forward to being able to watch and play games on the go, being fed up with the DS and just not touching it. I was happy to have the PSP back, but then i realised that i when i gave my PSP away i had next to nothing games, and what games i had were either really bad or boring. So i went out and i brought two new games, FIFA (because i love football, and football games) and i also brought Crisis core.
After downloading the first series of The big bang theory to my psp and putting Quantum of solace on there as well as also having the UMD slot filled with Crisis core, i was ready to go out into the world again with my PSP. I went on a train to work and i was so looking forward to playing or watching something on my PSP, that iwas looking forward to going to work.I firstly watched an episode of TBBT and i just felt my eyes squinting all the time and the sound was terrible, i had completely forgot what it was like to watch something on the PSP. So i scrapped that idea. I then turned to playing Crisis core which don't get me wrong is a fantastic game! (Review coming soon), but it just lacked some sort of importance because it was on a handheld console.
Now here i get to my point. To me i haverealised that i don't feel the importance in handheld games that i do on console games. For some reason, i would never pay the same price for a PSP or DS game as i would for a console game, i feel like in some way i am being ripped off. I feel that handheld games just aren't as important and i would much rather spend my days trying to complete a console game then i would Crisis core no matter how much of a good game it is.
I just feel in some way that handheld games lack importance, they don't drag me in like console games do. I don't really know how to explain this in more detail. I just feel like when i pick up a handheld, my gaming spirt isn't all there. I don't no whether it is just me or it is something to do with handhelds. Yes i like them, but i just don't feel the same when i play them.
Anybody get what i mean.....?

What would you be doing if gaming was not around?
I always often wonder what the hell i would be doing with my time if gaming had not been invented, or that it had never taken off. I suppose to start with i would have got my MCSE by now and i wouldn't be going to University in Septemeber.
Huh strange, if now thinking back my life actually would be completely different. Different friendsand people thathanged about with in school, better education(Would have revised instead of playing Tony Hawks and Devil may cry), different career path and come to think of it i might have been a succesful footballer if i had trained more instead of playing Ocarina of time.
Would it is true come to think of it, gaming really does change your life. I think a new title is in order.
With out gaming you would have been a footballer! Jackass.
Oh well time well spent wouldn't you agree?
