5Jan 08I was looking for FAQs on gamefaq.com for the new Wii game my husband and I have been playing Alien Syndrome and noticed it now has a gamespot logo on its layout. So I said to myself oh gamespot bought gamefaq. Then I started posting on the board at gamefaq without much thoughts. Since it reminded me of gamespot, I came to gamespot and added a review for Alien Syndrome. I noticed coincidentally that I have the same user/pass on gamespot as on gamefaq. Then I realized after I went to the Alien Syndrome forum, it's a mirror of the one on gamefaq. They must use the same database!! What's better is some time during their merge, they also merged my two accounts. Now posts I made on gamefaq appear on gamespot also as posted by me. This is the coolest merge ever. It was completely without my involvement or knowledge and I found it positively surprising.

23Jan 07Apparently I don't get to use link tag in my blog posts.. maybe coz my level is too low. Guess it's time to raise levels.
