The Big Waiting continues with a fracture of new info

Hiya fellas! It has been an astonishing half a year since my last blog. One of my long-awaited games – Bioshock 2 – has been released and I've played it unlocking almost 100 % of the trophies. The game's story wasn't as thrilling as the prequel's but it was ok. It gave a good view of the insane life of a Big Daddy & Little Sister combination.

When summer came I had few impulse purchases like Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY at cheap prize and some stuff to my PS Home –space (including full version of SodiumOne Salt Shooter). Gotta say that Batman had one of the best game engines I've seen like… I don't know… ever. The only bad thing I found from it was that it could've had more things to do; I mean like one more difficulty level or game mode or something (I've unlocked all of the trophies having spent hell a lot of time in doing so which means there is no real value of what I'm saying right now ).

So yeah, it has been an amazing half a year… or not? I'm a human being, I'm never satisfied 'till the day I die of old age And the reason for this is how disappointing was this year's E3. Few weeks before it had my hype for Final Fantasy Versus XIII all up at its peak and when the show came Square Enix said "sry, no info this time" and showed off their new MMO Final Fantasy XIV which doesn't interest me in the least. Ok, maybe I don't care so much of MMOs, but hey, it's a good thing they've made such a game. Good MMOs are real profit-dreams in game industry which means they'll keep producing more quality games so it's more for me after all

On the other hand, E3 wasn't so bad. In fact it had new trailers for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine and Metal Gear Solid: Rising; both are games I didn't expect getting info from. Even though Relic and Konami didn't give any specific release dates the trailers gave good first impressions of the games' gameplay.

    This is it again,

'till next time yours truly DJ-Armeliaz

My Big Awaits of year 2010, 2011 and TBA(?)

There are many games I'd like to buy in the next two years. Sadly, all those are said to be released TBA or have some random two-years-after-date on them.

    - Metal Gear Solid: Rising

    - Warhammer 40k: Space Marine

    - Bioshock 2

    - Final Fantasy Versus XIII

If I could pick one of them and get it right now I think it would be Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. It could be MGO: Rising as well, but Konami hasn't published any new information of it for a while so, I don't know, not having Kojima with them in the project, they could s*rew it. Both of these will be released TBA which means, GROWL!!

And what about the two last ones? Yes, Bioshock 2 is coming to europe in february 9th which I'm very VERY happy about. It will give my game-hype a rest for a long time... or... well at least for a month and a half. And the last but not nearly the least, Final Fantasy Versus XIII. After watching many of its trailers I knew that I just GOT to have it. I own Kingdom Hearts II and have enjoyed watching Final Fantasy VII Advent Children many times over so after hearing that both of the teams making those two are making this one sure gave me, once again, a new game to hype at.

And that's that. All about me. Is it selfish and/or narsistic to put it this way?

    My PS3 History So Far...

I bought my PS3 80 Gt Europe system on fall 2008. Half the reason for choosing expensive PS3 instead of X360 was because I own PS2 and had quite got used to its controls, the other half is unsure but it could've been... MGS4 Sons of the Patriots. Guess it was 'cause I bought the game same time with the console. I sure got a lot of hype back then, waiting the MGS4. Anyway, buying that console wasn't a mistake, even though of its price in Europe. It didn't take long - only a week - until I bought my next game, Devil May Cry 4. Like with MGS, I'd been a fan of the DMC series since playing the first game release. With it and MGS4 I finally experienced the potential this console-generation has, the graphics and everything.

After playing them for a couple of months - thinking of being satisfied - I started to get the feeling there was still more this console could give me, like FPS (First Person Shooter). Back at the last console-generation, I didn't like FPS-games. Thought they looked crap and playing them with a controller was horrible. Well that weren't for Resistance 2 on late december, near new year eve. It was very enjoyable game with all the action in it and somehow I learned to like playing first person games with a console. The first one of the game series, Resistance: Fall of Man came along the way (got it on a very low price). Even bought a third game on early january, TES: Oblivion GoTY edition. Partly that's my friend to blame. But only by a reason: he showed me that game . After that it took few months until Iu had my urge on a new game, again.

Between these two months there isn't much to say about my PS3 gaming. I played ALL the quests in Oblivion GoTY except some of the Shivering Isles ones. Only thing actually worth mentioning is that I finally got my PS3 console online. I had some problems with it because my home network was only my memory stick looking network adapter (don't know the right word for it) and it didn't share connection through my laptop and the wire to my PS3. But back then I finally found a way and now I've even Metal Gear Online to play along my other games online options.

Well some might guess which game the last one I bought was. I pre-ordered it and got it last thursday. Ring any bells? No? Well it was Resident Evil 5. Finished it on that weekend and next I'm going to unlock all the extra stuff in it.

So that's about everything so far of my experience and history with PS3 console. If you still haven't bought it I sure recommend you to do it.
