This has DEFINITELY gone to being one of my most anticipated games! I'm disappointed that it's not coming until 2010 though, but after seeing that trailer it will definitely be worth the wait! I'm still not sure whether to get it for PS3 or 360 but if it's ends up being the same for both systems then I will probably get it for 360. I can't wait!!!

Also, I recently beat Dead Space and Fable 2. Dead Space is one of the best survival horror games I've ever playe and was definitely one of 2008's biggest surprises (in fact I've actually beaten it twice lol). Fable 2 was really awesome BUT I really REALLY HATED the ending! GRR, those of you who have beaten it will know what I mean, I won't spoil but it feels like the ending could've been so much more!

Oh well, anyways I'm currently playing through Tales of Vesperia still, I'm about 20 hours into it, it's AWESOME. Upcoming games I'm going to be getting for sure are Dawn of War 2 for PC, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for DS, and Resident Evil 5. I've also really got the urge to buy Zelda: Phantom Hourglass LOL, because I never played it.

Hey everyone, just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas! AND a happy New Years! :

This Christmas was pretty cool, I got surround sound which sounds AWESOME and I rented Dead Space to play (start out my surround sound with some SURVIVAL HORROR), and it sound AWESOME on it, it's so creepy hearing noises coming from behind. I also got some EB Games gift cards and candy and funny gaming shirts which is cool. I also bought some games because there were crazy sales like Mass Effect ($19, even though I beaten it before borrowing from a friend I now own it to beat again), MGS4 ($29, awesome), and CoD:WaW PC (long story short, me and my brother got 2 copies for the price of 1).

LOL well I've been around gamespot but for some reason I just haven't posted a blog lately... I don't know why! So here I am posting a blog.

So yeah, lately I've been playing alot of different games. Got the new WoW expansion and I'm lvl 75 right now (Dwarf Warrior) and I have a lvl 61 deathknight as well. I also picked up Left 4 Dead (PC) and have been playing alot of that online, I've never played a zombie game with THIS many zombies LOL! I've also been playing Fable 2, I've rescued 2 out of the 3 people so far so I'm pretty far into it, I'm loving it probably more than the first Fable. It seems like there's just a TON of side-quests to do and the achievements are hilarious. I've also recently started Tales of Vesperia and I will tell you that this is DEFINITELY an awesome game, I'm about 5 hours into it right now and even though Tales is one of my favourite series this game is living up to my expectations, can't wait to play more! Oh yeah, and I'm playing Gears 2 online quite a bit.

Wow such an awesome year for gaming, so many awesome games coming out. I think I'll be playing these 5 for a long time but other games I have my eye on that I want to get soon are Call of Duty 5, Lost Odyssey, Animal Crossing Wii, and Valkyria Chronicles. I also have Fallout 3 and Tales of Symphonia 2 but I haven't opened them yet.

Well anyways, I guess that's what I'm doing gaming-wise right now. I will try to be around blogs and blogging a bit more often now so yeah! Hope everyone's enjoying the crazy-good games that have been coming out.

So yeah! There are alot of older games that I'd been meaning to play but haven't got around to playing, so I decided to order a bunch of them from Ebay. So here's what I ordered:

They're gunna be SO good! I'm still deciding which one to play first. They should arrive by the time my exams finish (my last one is in 12 days) so then I will have time off to play these... muahahaha! I'm surprised at how cheap they were though... all 4 Baldur's Gate games were like $40 total, all 3 Fallouts were like $20 total, and Diablo was like $9. Planescape is kind of expensive though because it's rare (the auction is still open actually, I win it in 3 hours ). Can't wait till they arrive, it's gunna be good!

Well E3 has come and gone and here are my thougts:

Microsoft:

Microsoft had the best conference I think. They showed off the best games. Fallout 3 looks AWESOME (Oblivion with guns!) so I can't wait to play that one. RE5, we finally got a release date (March 13), and co-op is amazing. Fable 2, I LOVE what they did with the online, where you see people as these orbs and just walk up to them to invite them into your world. Gears of War 2 footage blew my mind and is shaping up to be the best shooter of 2008 and even better than the first one! Then they announced a new xbox interface and avatars, which were both pretty cool. FF13 announcement made me laugh, I couldn't even believe it! Overall, good conference.

Nintendo:

This was the most disappointing one by far. They announced Animal Crossing Wii which will be awesome though, I definitely can't wait for that one! But the rest was disappointing compared to what I was expecting. I wanted a new Zelda trailer to at least know that they were making progress on a new one and see what it will be like, or a Pikmin 3 trailer, or something like that, but... we didn't get any of that, we just got a "yeah, a new Zelda and new Pikmin are coming... sometime in the future..." which sucks without a trailer because "in the future" could mean 2-3 years and means we have no information about the game to get excited about. Wii Sports 2 got announced, but the thing that made Wii Sports 1 so good was that it was free, I don't know if I would pay $60 for another Wii Sports. WiiMusic had DJ RAVI WHO WAS AWESOME but honestly I didn't like it at all, it seemed like there was no goal to it, it's like Guitar Hero without the arrows... just play at your own pace... seemed really REALLY LAME especially considering it was their "big" announcement. Very disappointing outside of Animal Crossing.

Sony:

Sony's press conference was alright. They had some cool videos for some of their games. A bit disappointing that they didn't have more surprises though. But still, the God of War 3 teaser was pretty cool and got me pretty excited for the game! The Resistance 2 boss fight looked freaking epic. LittleBigPlanet looks crazy and unique and I definitely wanna pick that one up. Hmm... I think I'm forgetting something, but still, it was an ok conference overall.

Overall though it was a pretty disappointing E3 because there weren't all the huge announcements like there usually was. But there was some cool new announcements and stuff so overall it was pretty cool but maybe I was expecting too much. Anyways, I enjoyed it.

OK wow, so this is probably my most anticipated game right now (along with Tales of Symphonia 2), and I finally got around to playing the demo, and all I can say is WOW!

First off, if you want to play the demo, it isn't available on the North American xbox live marketplace yet for some reason, so what you do is make a hotmail account and say you live in Japan, then turn that into an xbox live silver membership (for free), then you can access the japan xbox live marketplace. You can download it from there, and as long as your console is set to English, the voice acting and text and everything will be in English.

OK, everything about the demo is absolutely amazing and lives up to the Tales name for sure! The battle system is awesome and very similar to Tales of the Abyss, and the graphics are some of the best cel-shaded graphics I have EVER seen (ESPECIALLY IN 720p :O), it is amazing, and the dialogue is really funny as well! I cannot wait another month to play this, I want it now! :O Tales of Symphonia is my favourite game of all time and every game that I've played in the Tales series ended up in my top 5 games ever, and this is looking like it's going to be just as awesome as the previous ones! I cannot wait! Check out the demo if you like Tales games!

Also, E3 is, like... TOMORROW!!! And I haven't said what I hope will be there, so here is basically what I hope to see from each of the big 3 press conferences:

I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ANNOUNCED IT!

WOOOOOOOOOOOT!!

Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Wrath of the Lich King... Blizzard is being freaking amazing right now!!! INCREDIBLE!!!

1st off, I will probably be buying Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 this weekend during the... LONG WEEKEND! Yup, it's a 4 day weekend because of Canada day and stuff which is awesome. It's gunna be such an awesome game, I think it came out yesterday, anyone played it yet and what do you think?

Also, WOW visit www.blizzard.com right now! They have some splash thing that you are redirected to, and it has a picture of shattered ice. What could this mean exactly? According to gamespot, this could mean the announcement of a new game by Blizzard! If you don't know, Blizzard is my favourite video game company, and whenever they release a new game, it's absolutely amazing. Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, the upcoming Starcraft 2... amazing! And now there's a possibility that they are announcing a new game! HOWEVER, since the theme of "ice" is present in the upcoming WoW expansion pack (the new continent Northrend), this could be an announcement of either: a) a release date for WotLK, or b) a date for open-beta testing. However, while that would be awesome, I think it could be something more... possibly Diablo 3!!! Which would be incredibly amazing!

I guess we'll have to wait and see. One thing we know for certain is that Blizzard's got a big announcement coming up... and I for one CANNOT WAIT!

That's it! No more sidetracking, no more putting it off! I've had Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for way too long but keep getting sidetracked with other games! And then I try to start playing it again but I get sidetracked with another game. But no more! Now I'm going to commit myself to playing the rest of it before I continue with my other games (except WoW)! So GTA4, Forza 2, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, etc... are all on hold until I am finished with this!

So yeah, I started playing it again, I'm 17 hours into it now and it's starting to get REALLY awesome, I've taken command of Ike and his crew again now and the story is getting really epic. :O This game is in competition with 1 other mystery game (ooo the suspense) as my 2007 GotY, and so I know I was going to do my 2007 GotY awards like a week or two ago but it is delayed until I finish this masterpiece!

Also I've had my eye on Age of Conan lately, it looks really awesome and I'm probably going to get it in mid-August, it looks like a really sweet MMO. I'm surprised at all the awesome games coming out this summer... Age of Conan, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 (I wanna pre-order it!), Metal Gear Solid 4, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dragonball Z: Burst Limit, Soul Calibur 4... AHH my head's going to burst with awesomeness, I thought summer was supposed to be the video game drought for us to get caught up with any earlier games we missed!? Still, it's pretty sweet how many awesome games are coming out... I gotta find time to play all of these haha!

BUT NO, for now everything is on hold until Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is completed! I wanna play more of it! *goes to play* (BTW if you have a Wii and like strategy-RPGs you definitely gotta play it (after playing the one for Gamecube, since this one is a sequel) because it is AWESOME!).

MY COMPUTER EXPLODED!!!

Well... ok... it didn't explode, but it broke! I was using it and then out of nowhere the screen just turned black so I had to press the button to turn it off, then when I tried to turn it back on there's all these multi-coloured blocks everywhere on the screen and it says that Windows can't load, I've tried everything but nothing will fix it and I don't know if it's a virus or a hardware problem but I'm sending it to Dell to get fixed. It sucks though because I've only had it for less than a year and it broke AHHHH I hope they can fix it! So I've been computerless and will still be computerless, except for these... Mac Labs...

ALSO I don't know if you remember my blog back in December where I said I'd do my 2007 Game of the Year picks in April, but well now it's May, but I think I've played enough games from 2007 to make my picks (at least for now). SO when I get my computer back, I will make a blog with all my 2007 game of the year picks for each system.

SO yeah, I've been playing a bit of GTA4 and I'm now at 28% with 13 hours played, it is awesome I love it! Also I heard Viva Pinata 2 was announced (HOLY CRAP VIVA PINATA 2!) which is yay because the first one was fun lol. Also I saw the new Gears of War 2 footage and it is looking freaking amazing so far, it looked so incredibly crazy, especially when he picked up the body and used it as a shield, and also when he did the crazy thing with the chainsaw, I was like "YES!" when I saw that!

School's been hard lately (especially Calclulus 2... damn how much stuff can they ram down your throat in a 50 minute class!? It's so hard to keep up with all the work!) I'm also taking Linear Algebra 1 (kind of hard but it's supposed to get even harder later), Intro to Computer Science (ugh programming in Java is CONFUSING), Intro to Psychology (this class is fun LOL and there's only 3 tests and no assignments ^_^), and Intro to Macro Economics (which doesn't look like alot of work which is good). It's so weird though that it's May and I"m just starting a new semester! I can't wait till August 15 so I have a break again there's too much work.

YO!

First of all yeah I haven't been here for a week because I randomly got banned for a week... note to self: stay away from System Wars. X_X

But ya so I got GTA4 on launch day and I'm about 22% percent through it and about 9 hours played, and I LOVE IT! It's sooo good. What I like most is that they finally fixed the crappy aiming from the past games and put a cover system and stuff, so they really improved the gameplay! This is the best GTA I've played by far. The one thing I didn't like though was that it kind of started a bit slow, I mean I didn't even get my first gun until like 2 or 3 hours into the game. But other than the beginning it is really cool and I'm loving it. I've played a bit of online but not too much so far, I really suck at the online also LOL I die so much. XD But overall this is a very good game.

Also since my last blog I have beaten Bioshock, and I gotta say the storyline in that game is one of the best I have ever experienced. I absolutely LOVED the game! Amazing amazing amazing! One of my new favourites of all time! The twists were incredible as well. I can't wait to see what they do with Bioshock 2 now which supposedly comes out next year. It was an incredible masterpiece and I definitely recommend it.

Well that's all. I also moved into residence and have started school again, and so my time for gaming will be lower until mid-August. I brought my 360 and DS here, so I will probably be playing GTA4, Forza 2, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney over the next little while, as well as continue playing World of Warcraft.

I am now convinced that this will be the greatest non-RPG of all time. I had doubt before, I was thinking "it'll be good but SSBB, among others, will take the Game of the Year awards". But everywhere is going crazy about it. Everywhere is braking tradition of the "avoidance of the perfect 10" by awarding this score to this game. And now I absolutely cannot wait to play it. To see just what Rockstar has done with it. I am now 16 hours from having the game in my hands. And I am already shaking with anticipation.

This game will be brilliant. I cannot wait. If you see me on xbox live tomorrow in the afternoon, give me a shout for some multiplayer. I like to play single player main quest stuff when either everyone in the house is at work/school, or when everyone is sleeping, because I don't like people walking in during cutscenes, so I'll probably be spending a good portion of tomorrow afternoon playing online multiplayer. So if you're up for some and online then give me a shout.

BTW LOL I just gotta point out one more laughable thing. I love the people with the fake spoilers. XD (don't worry I won't spoil anything here... because I can't...), tonight I saw a thread that said "X kills Y". Then in another thread I saw a post that said "Y kills X". CONTRADICTIONS??? ROFL it's always hilarious reading these fake spoilers the day before big games, I love it. XD

YO!

So just yesterday I started playing Forza 2 for 360. It came with my 360 but I hadn't really gotten around to playing it yet, but now that I've started I really don't want to stop! I've played it alot so far in the last day, and right now I am lvl 11 in career mode. All I can say is: WOW! I haven't really played a game like this since Gran Turismo 2 back like 7 or 8 years ago probably, so it's so refreshing to finally play something like this again! It looks like it's gunna be a LOOOOOONG game too, there's just so many races and tournaments and everything to do. I'm definitely loving this game. The graphics aren't as mind-blowing as I thought they'd be though, although maybe that's just because we've got games like GT5 coming out soon and Forza 2 is a bit of an older game. Still I'm definitely loving it so far and can't wait to play more!

ALSO I'm playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and I just beat Chapter 3 of Part 2, and this game's definitely keeping me hooked. The only thing that's kind of confusing is that it's been so long since I played Path of Radiance so sometimes a character will appear that you're expected to know from the first game but I'll just have forgotten them! But still it's such a good game and I can't wait to play more. I'm wondering when I'll see Ike and them again as well.

Hmm... what else... Oh yeah! I started playing the original Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney (which I bought off ebay a while back for pretty cheap ), and I'd only played the 2nd one in the series but I now realize it wasn't a one-hit-wonder, this one is AMAZING as well, it's a bit of a shame though since the 2nd one continued directly off of this one so I know some key plot points already, but the cases themselves are just AMAZING, I'm just starting the 3rd case now and it's already got me scratching my head trying to put all the pieces together. Really great game though and this is slowly becoming one of my favourite series!

One last thing: The other day I was sitting around and out of nowhere I was like "... I don't own the Golden Sun games..." I remember playing the first one a while back and getting about 5 hours in, but I want to actually own them now and play through both games in the series completely. SO I ordered both of them from ebay! Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. They should be arriving in 7-15 business days so I hope I get them within the next couple of weeks! They're gunna be good! I remember what I played being REALLY REALLY good and so I absolutely can't wait till they arrive!

OK I randomly haven't really been here for like the past month, probably in the whole April, I don't know why I guess I was just busy BUT BEHOLD I am back now so I'm just blogging to let you guys know that I'm back!

ALSO GTA4 comes out in like a week and a half, I already pre-ordered it for the 360 because I heard there's some exclusive downloadable content coming to it which sounds pretty cool. It looks like it's gunna be awesome and I have that whole week off when it comes out! Until...

Noooo! I have to go back to school in just over 2 weeks! In case you don't know, I'm in a co-op program and so my program doesn't follow the normal school year, so I've been off (err... working...) these past 4 months, and now I have to go back to school May to August. Awwwww! Oh well though it's been a great 4 months (though like all holidays, it went WAAAAAY to fast). I hope the last 2 weeks are awesome as well! May 4 is when I move back into residence and May 5 is when I have my first day of classes again. Oh well.

Anyways... This weekends been pretty awesome (4 day weekend ). I've been doing alot of gaming. I ended up beating Kameo: Elements of Power, and also I have 116 stars in Super Mario Galaxy (I'll probably get the last 4 after writing this blog). I also been playing some WoW and SSBB still. I'm playing alot of SSBB online lately so make sure to add me if you haven't already! (Friend Code: 1032-0911-4014).

Also tomorrow I'm gunna go buy... GAMES! I know I'm gunna *finally* buy Crysis, and also maybe 1 or 2 more. We'll see.

Woot woot! Such a great game, one of my favourites ever! I've played for 20 hours and there's still SO MUCH left to see and do! And then there's still online mode after that! Wow this is gunna last a long time.

Other things... I have 101 Stars in Super Mario Galaxy, I'm really close to beating it, I have all of the stars except for the Garden Galaxy which I haven't started yet (except for the one planet in there that has 1 star). Should be fun, I heard the Garden is the best one. Also I've started Bioshock, which is WOW, it's really crazy and atmospheric, I play it with the lights off, it's pretty awesome.
