7Sep 07I was just watching some game previews that were talking about the Gears of War style of play with the cover system. It is funny that the first game to come out with this system was not Gears of War. If anybody remembers a gave called Kill Switch. It was not a good game but it can be said to be the father of Gears of War with the cover and shooting blindly over corners. I just find it funny that the biggest game on the 360 was a spawn of a game that originally came out for the Playstation 2. So with everything that is said about Gears of War and how great the system is and that everybody is using the Gears of War cover system just remember the first game to start the trend was Kill Switch.

First I would like to say that I am one of the few lucky people to have all three of the systems. With that said I find that the only system that has the smallest library would be the Playstation 3. So far the games that I have for it are Resistance and Motorstorm. Sad to say the "Big games" coming out this year seem to all be lacking in the fun department. With Lair getting the worst reviews everywhere it has been reviewed and Heavenly Sword starting to come back with bad reviews I am left thinking well at least I have a Blu-ray player that will play Playstaion 2 games. The only title that seems to be getting better reviews, Warhawk, is really in direct compition with the game that I am planning to get with is SOCOM Confrontation. I see also now that Haze will be coming out as an exclusive for the PS3 but that game just looks like an average shooter that looks pretty. The only thing and can think to myself is just rock back and forth and hope that MSG4 is worth a $600 dollar system.
