It's my Birthday! + inFamous Review + New banner, header and avatar
Hello everyone, It's my birthday today!
I'm 21 now, eh I feel old
anyways, my brother bought Assassin's Creed II for me
I am really enjoying it so far, it seems it will be much better than the first
thanks a lot bro!
Now about inFamous:
inFamous is a sand-box game made by SuckerPunch, a developer which brought us the Sly triology on the PS2 which was a great series. inFamous is their first sand-box game.
To be honest when I first heard of it and I knew about the developer I didn't expect much of it.
But I was wrong and here is my review:
Story: The story is pretty good, there are some twists as you progress in the game, but the biggest twist of all is in the very end. Which really turned the heat, I never expected it at all. Also, some of your actions in the game might change the story a bit, so it's good to play the game more than once.
Score: 9/10
Gameplay: Amazing gameplay, many abilities to learm and use. You get to be good or evil, which influences some of the story events. I actually compared this game to Prototype as I was playing. In here the action seems to be kind of slow-paced unlike Prototyope, but they are both great in their ways. Roaming the cities is fun, there are a lot of sie missions you can do besides the story, and there is a lot of variety in missions.
Score: 9/10
Graphics: Theenvironment is well designed, but compared to what's released now it's not as good.
Score: 8/10
Conclusion: Overall, the game is great, it has a good story, a great protagonist (He's one of my favorites now
) which I'm sure most people would like his personality and a good, intertaining gameplay that will keep you playing for hours. It's a PS3 exclusive that shouldn't be missed.Overall: 9/10
I hope you find this review useful

That's about ther review, now about my new gamespot layout. Since I'm playing Assassin's Creed II, I decided to make a new banner, header and avatar based on Assassin's Creed II.
I hope you like them

Frustrating Trophies
Trooophies!
I love collecting Trophies, it gives the game more value that it has, makes you want to play it more. Games without trophies feel meaningless once you finish them. That's what I think anyways

Anyways, I've been playing Infamous lately and trying to get the Platinum, it's actually not really hard. You just get them as you play the game, some of them will be a little bit challenging but not the point of throwing your controller on your TV

But the most annoying trophy in the game is collecting every single shard in the game. First of all you can find them by clicking L3 in your mini-map, shown by a blue dot. Not so hard eh? At least you can find them not like Prototype in collecting 200 Landmarks and you don't know where the hell they are. Anyways, the thing is... there are 350 shards
and the most annoying and stupid thing about the game is there is no stats at all. There are 3 cities in the game and let's say you missed 4 shards, you don't know where the hell you've missed them, you have to look over 3 cities moving around clicking L3 all over the place unless you see the damn blue dot. I've never seen a sand-box game without any stats in it, and that's simply stupid. The game is great, everything about it is amazing. Just what the hell were Suckerpunch thinking by not putting any information?! The only thing you can know is when you save they tell you how many shards you got out of 350, okay that was helpful thanks a lotSuckerpunch
And above all that, the trophy is bronze
going all through that trouble fora damn bronze trophy?!Anyone who played Infamous and got a Platinum trophy please tell me how you managed to get those 350 shards

On the other hand, I played Braid on PSN. An awesome game! something out of this world! I got all trophies but one

Which says : Got some kind of speed run through the game, well the speed-run is 45 minutes, hmmm.. not bad, if you run all the way ignoring every puzzle that's a piece of cake
but no, it's not that easy. you HAVE to get every puzzle piece AND assemble them. Now how the **** am I going to get all those in 45 minutes only?! I tried yesterday and I finished the first three worlds in 36 mins, which gives me 9 mins to finish 3 worlds. *sigh* I hate trophies like that.Anyways, that's all I've got for today
I feel relieved that's out of my chest

An epic shooter..
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 definitely hits the spot of my favorite FPS after Crysis of course

But each game has it's Cons and Pros, they're both great, but in my opinion Crysis remains my best FPS game ever. CoD, delivers a different feeling in FPS games, the story, the dialogue between your team, everything that happens to you and around you seems very real, it's more like living the war. This is what's special about CoD than any other FPS game.
I've never actually played any other game that truly gives you the feeling of an actual war. I admit that the game is short, but in each mission it gets better and better, and you would not think of the time you played in the game. By the time it finished you'll think that the gameplay time is perfect for such a great game.
In Modern Warfare 2, the story continues but after 5 years from Modern Warfare 1, and this time it's even better. With some twists in the story, and amazing characters.
I think that Infinity Ward has done it's masterpiece, but I don't think they will stop. We would like more from this great developer!

My Score: 9.5
I highly recommend this game, just do yourselves a favor and play it!
