Really like the video , presentation , the way it was edited , the synchronization between the games and music was perfect. The real life events very wisely chosen , It will be great to see more of this kind of videos , relating life , video games and global events.

Great video, however, 2012 ws pretty slow for me. This year seems a touch weak compared to the sexfest of 2011.
Epic vid. As gaming goes, indie stuff OWNED 2012 for me. Hotline Miami, Costume Quest, Retro City Rampage, Puddle...kept my laptop churning.
4 Like Really brilliant video, I think Danny O'Dwyer has added so much to the (UK)Gamespot team. He's really thorough in his work; has his ear at the level of the community and has a good taste in games to boot. It's a shame people like Jane Douglas are gone, she was again, a well informed journalist (doing good work over at Outside Xbox still though) but I think Danny has really given the website a boost. I've been a user since 2005 (on a different account mind) and I think Gamespot has easily been at its best in the last 18 months or so. Danny has spot me onto so many great games via his pretty special and completely accessible shows. For someone whos is just 3-4 years too young to have missed out on the golden age of PC gaming, it has been absoulutely fantastic to have such a passionate and games-literate guy creating such stunning shows and the rest. Plus the live streams are fun, the community service seems to sum up Danny as he is all about giving a lot back to the average punter because he clearly relates to that. Just a decent G (which is clearly the highest accolade someone can receive). The Extra Life thing was great, looking forward to donating 20 dollars or so again next year. Thanks a lot bro and keep up the good work, hope you go far.
@merryberry21 Yeah, I def saw a massive improvement in the site when features from Danny, Cam (What if machine is a really great feature) and everyone that was on start/select (RIP). I find it easier to relate to Danny than (naming no names) some of the more pretentious GS staff. Plus GS used to be very straight laced and dry. When ever there was an attempt at humour, it was generally pretty lame back in the day.

@dannyodwyer it's cool man, just appreciate good work and you clearly have passion which is pretty envigorating in this industry. Good to see Lone Survivor in the video, that was a real cool game and FTL on your Games list thing. Max Payne 3 had a great soundtrack too, this might have been one of the best year for Video Game soundtracks.
I have the same name as out president (the Egyptian one ) can I say I was in the clip :P
I think when it was at Feb. in the video I was already blown away, didn't realize that many noteworthy games had already come out.
