Once You go Thai
Now I don't know if you guys have had real thai food not anything through a drive through or in a buffet line but once you find it da da damn! Me and my brother experienced real thai food recently and the flavors, texture, and the whole experiance was great. Everything with the exception of the fried squid was hot super hot and I loved every minute of it. With Chinese food you either know the cheap and the gourmet or you don't. The same goes for thai food but in the case of good thai everything is fresh the shrimp are not mushy like cheap chinese food and the vegtables and noodles all taste like they were just prepared that day incredible.
Movie Fridays
Saw two movies recently first up the awesome
Best movie about the Iraq war to date and even Guy Pierce showed up to give us a great cameo you've got to see this tale of the militaries bomb squad.
Now the suck
Movie was so bad I had to think 10 minutes to remember it's name so cheesy so stupid man I had hopes of an at least competant thriller.
New Beer
Didn't like this one too bitter check last blog for it's regular cousin and feel free to leave beer ideals have to remember to try Canadian thanks April fox. Ok see you guys in a few weeks I'll be posting the cruise videos before I leave for this years cruise.

Hello all it's me again back in less than a month since things have happened to me hope a lot of you guys respond. I've been to a bunch of you guys blogs and for those of you who haven't blog in a while please do so.
Certified pt3!
Yes I've gotten my 3rd certification and it is the
No that's not the one I talked about 3 months ago but it turns out the cwnp which is the administrative level wireless exam. Was recently updated and since I was working off 4 year old material I figured it would be easier to get the cwts with my set time frame. Well a 4 year old administrator knows as much at least as a entry level tech apparently and after much sweating of bullets I passed with an 85 very happy.

Millennium Contributor/3dayweekday
Well my hard work has paid off I now have the millennium contribution button for those of us with 1000 or more contributions and I'm a stones throw from level 36 too boot
Yea that last title is a weird one but since I don't get 3 day weekends the nature of my work. What I get this labor day is Monday off due to my seniority and my new off days Tuesday and Wednesday which start this week. So I'll spend two with the family and one just relaxing and I don't have to cook this time mom bought food from someone.

As to the first pic I look back and still marvel at how well an adaptation this film was and how it didn't suck. That's saying a lot since the movie had Marlon Waynes in it and Channing Tatum of fighting aka the brick that moves and talks and is muscular and a ridiculous shoot and destroy everything in our path sequence through Paris. This movie did a hell of a better job than any xmen film and even had a decent interracial relationship which was done well.
As to the second it took me a while to rent this one but I was willing to let anything go after passing my exam. Val Kilmer is magic one of the greatest actors of our time he was very believable as a N.O cop in the wake of Katrina and Sharon Stone well was a lot of Southern Bell in her delivery but had a nice haggard cop thats seen too much look. Curtis Jackson aka fitty cent did the typical rookie the yang to Kilmers yen.
Beer

Great taste really smooth but didn't have that much kick and messed with my saliva glands in a weird way so doubt I'll be back to this one.
Next up
Now this was perfect and may be my new beer mainstay. It has the kick very close to all time favorite Dos Equis Amber but is so smooth the smoothest so far very nice sophisticated beer. Holiday
It fell upon me to cook for memorial day and 4th of july so witness my adventures in barbque first up memorial day.
Now the camera lies as you can see by recording artist pink at one time she looked hot. So I can assure you a lot of the bbq you saw was burnt but the magic of sweet sauce saved my bacon during this learning experience.
Now with lessons about waiting till the fire goes out or standing over the open flame learned the 4th of july

As the critcs said a little too much of Clive Owen walking around with a gun without protest but the action and suspense were tight and I really enjoyed it.

Ok tv.com folks those of us left after the sites daily drama and the end of regular tv season. Keep it short and sweet folks since it's been awhile and I have a few other things to do before I can put up the last cruise pics blog. Just checking in had a few things to talk about and as the title eludes too Mj's death sent me over the edge.
Ed mcmahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson What The Frack!
Well folks started this week with the death of Mcmahon late night legend and the best side kick on tv and not even at the end of the business week. Last night I hear about the death of Fawcett and hours later what the hell the friggin king of pop drops dead. I guess the thing that freaking me out the most is that this month 4 people have died at my church and as we have seen publicly the shootings and mass murder that's afoot on a large scale. There's a lot of death going on and I don't get it sign of the times oh and the fact that I finally saw the Iranian protest bystander Neda die and the whole Iranian situation in general has me looking at life a little closer. Mortality is all in the air and where reminded of it more than ever. I don't know just wanted to let that off my chest a few family issues I won't talk about helped this blog but after all that drama and finding out Michael Jackson was dead had to let it out.
New Job?
On to other issues I am looking for a new job since I have all these certifications and am closing in on number 3 and Verizon Wireless has become very hard and why work hard if you don't have too. Pray for me there are IT jobs at Methodist hospital but so far only customer service folks have called and I really want one of those it jobs.
Movie Fri
Well last movie I recall seeing was
Nice cheesy horror film it was made by the same guy that did the Evil Dead series so you have horror camp for days. It relied mostly on loud music and gore but it was a fun little romp.

Hello friends glad to be talking to you guys again hope all is well or close to getting there. As for me not much has happened the continuing battle through school and weekly movies so here's an update.
Tv Shows Gone
Well a ton of my shows have either ended of natural causes and a lot for me were cancelled.
Prison Break
Perfect wrap up to the series but why Michaels gravestone had 2005 as his death date is a mystery to me but at least General Krantz got the worst punishment possible for his crimes the chair yikes!
Code Geass
Well I'm 5 episodes early on this one but this great alternative history show is coming to end soon and it was a great ride all the way. Wonder what Adult Swim will show next once it's gone?
Now the tv shows murdered by the networks
Terminator
So sad the show was so good and for Friday nights was doing well but Fox became big time and a few million ain't good enough anymore.
Without a Trace
7 years and a good show but cbs I don't know what they want but cbs is tightening their belts and this show after so many years was a casualty.
Eleventh Hour
Look at these two who wouldn't want to watch them each week? Well after one fantasic season the aforementioned cbs brought the axe down and sadly this great show is gone.
The Unit
They don't look all bad azz here but this show about special forces operators was ended after 4 great years. Dennis Haysbert is always great and this mix of home front and battle front was excellent.
Life
The quirky detective that was released from prison after almost a decade and his quest to find who put him away unjustly and keep the streets of LA safe is no more. Man great acting and stories in this one why what the hell gives nbc the right to cancel anything?
Oh well can't do anything about it except morn the loss at least we have our faithful summer shows to keep us occupied.
Summer tv 09
For me 3 shows will get me through the long hot days leading to held breath at the end of hurricane season in September which is when they hit Houston if it hits this year. The first being
The closer
Great show Kyra Sedgwick is excellent in this show and a great supporting cast to boot.
Next The cleaner
Good show not great but good I've always been a Brat fan since his Law and Order days and the story of an ex addict that "hears" from god is very compelling.
Movie Fridays
Since I spoke to you guys I've seen two big movies and half of another from a year or so ago first
Surprisingly good after all the bad critical reviews lots of action and Hugh Jackman is the wolverine of the comics point blank flat out wonderful actor.
Then there was doubt
Only saw half sadly was shaping up to be a great period piece/character study and of the course the question of did he or didn't he when it comes to the priest. I personally think the kid was infactuated with the guy and got rejected but I'll find out one day.
Terminator Salvation
Good terminator movie and did a great job with the mythology making it make sense and tying it together. Didn't have the epic and universal great scifi movie feel of part two but was a fine film.

Wel I noticed that the femanine hygine product that made my rise on the board so hard. Had left or been forced out by tv.com since December of last year and so I went to work and my work paid off. Certified part 2
Well I'm happy to announce I successful got my network + certification. It was hard I was sweating bullets the whole time but from there I rolled into the
This one is pretty easy so far being a rehash of A+ and network+ and since it's one specialty so not as much content to worry about.
Movie Fridays
This time around thanks to my movie pacifist brother
I find my way to a less violent movie. This time 
Well this is a vehicle to grow Beyonce's fame so one shouldn't expect much. This is a step above a BET movie but that's not a great compliment. The acting was awful with the exception of Ali Larter but she's been doing the crazy chick thing for a while so no surprise there. Oddly enough my brother will see Star Trek and Terminator but other than those two I find myself in the g to pg 13 world
Red Stripe
Well it's time for another beer review I finally decided to go after one I've been curious about for years so feast your eyes on
Not bad it tasted good smooth I suppose but no kick I might have to drink 3 of these just get anything out of it. I won't be getting this one again I have a few beers that are great tasting and strong so this one is out. On the note of vices tonight marks the first week of my friday, saturday and sunday drink nights. I have officially dropped Thursday so I'm a weekend drinker now which is great since those are the best days of the week anyway.
College Start
Along with my newest certification I also started ****s at Devry university. I'm getting a bachelors degree in Technical Management with a specialty in networking. I'm going to take my electives and non-major courses first. Right now I'm taking a business course and a communication course and continuing my certifications on the weekends.
Long Johns an option
After registering I decided to grab something quick and easy and to my surprise Long John Silvers was quite good. I'm normally a Captain D's man don't know how many of you can relate to that reference. Really what got me away from Long Johns were those awful lobster bites. I mean I know what lobster should taste like and those things are a horrid re-imagining.
Ok guys that's it for now I'll try to find time to take the Real Sports with Bryant Gumble guide now that the douche that was in charge is gone but don't know when since all these ****s make for good sleepy time so exhausting and still trying to figure out if I'm sticking with Bones or not for another season take care.

Shows I should be watching
As so many of my shows end or won't be coming back. I've taken an odd turn at not watching much new tv and I hope it doesn't come back to bite me and I need to do catchup on a bunch of shows to fill the void left by the others.
I'll say it again don't know why I'm not watching this show and have no plans to do so
Dhani tackles the globe what's not to like about an ex American footballer battling his way through the sports of other cultures?

Don't remember the last time I missed a cop show but I just don't feel it and it has some of my favorite people in it.
Guess I still have memories of Fear, Reunion, and Vanished and can't take another summer serial that will end and not come back but this looks truely good and wish I was motivated to watch.
Finally we have dollhouse hot chicks and scifi should be enough but the previews didn't grab me and with Ghost Whisperer, Battlestar Galactica, and Terminator to fill my Friday scifi quotient I saw no reason to give it a chance.Movie Fridays

This week we had action and comedy first the the comedy
Yes old Madea the story of a "grandma" who packs a punk and drops nuggets of life affirming knowledge along with the bullets. If you don't think the man dressed as a woman with Christian overtones is funny perhaps this pic will convience you
Next Liam Neeson without uncomfortable male nudity scenes. An unfortunate referance to the propaganda piece Kinsey but as to his recent move
Taken was awesome it's almost like every other scene was fudge Jason Bourne in it's application great movie and only a great actor could bring it such depth.
Bill Cosby and the Symphony
Well I ended up going to work 2hours late thankfully we have get out jail free time we can use now 49hours a year. My lateness was due to the topic mentioned running over and me not getting home till 12:30am last friday. The symphony was good my first yea I'm high society now pick my teeth with utensils and parrrdon me after any unpleasant outbust the whole nine yards. Now look at my blurb due to the fact that we weren't supposed to get pics but that's Bill Cosby sitting on his trademark chair but at least I get a pic of the curtain the put up for him after the symphony was gone.

On a sad note this week will bring about the end of one of the best shows on tv let alone the scifi channel. Battlestar Galactica will end in a two hour splash this Friday I wonder what I should eat to see the show out.

We hello all it's been awhile not just for my blog but for responding to others. I have been playing catch up and will hit more of you guys tonight. As you can see by one of my custom long titles I've had a few events since we last spoke so let's get into it
Level 33!
Yes I'm the beloved borg queen always liked that icon and an so glad to have it and will be sad to see it go. Lots of work on my Man v Food guide has helped and contributions to the No Reservations with Anthony Bourdine board put me over. I would like to have my name on all my favorite boards so lots of subbing going forward.
Movie Fridays
Well my brother is acting the weenie and will not see violent movies for a while. Well I'm not going to stop watching them just because he won't be going and my off days are supposed to be for family. So Friday for at least the next six months until another schedule change will be movie Fridays. I saw two this week
Yep the reader which was a great look at the German psychy in the aftermath of ww2. I'm sure that was a part of the films point but I think the forbidden romance was to over shadow that aspect but as a history buff it was all about the war for me. Kate Winslet was so hot and so believeable in her role she really deserved that oscar.
After that my cheery day continued with of course
I heard it was bloody but wow why did they have to make it so much. It's like they really wanted to drive home the point that these guys ain't your granddads super-heroes. Anyway great job on telling this multi-generational story but he did have 2.43 minutes to do it but it didn't feel that long at all.

New Apartment
I moved in February more money equals more space and better surroundings. The place is huge I mean echo in the bathroom huge but for 795 a month guess it should be. Me and my brother were so tired after moving no matter how much planning you do it never goes perfect but this move was better than my first I can say at least.

A Turkish beer thanks to djmrt that I tried this week and it's not bad. I think I'm spoiled after Xingu this is more of a beery beer taste and all. It's not bitter goes down very smooth and not to bad as a tequila chaser. You drinkers may want to look it up.

Well hello all nice to be back since we last spoke Obama took the presidency so lets get that out the way first. So far I agree with the closing of the torture pins don't see how liberty can be pulled from tyranny. Without torture we at least have right on our side again and for me that's good enough for me and now just wondering what he'll do for the economy. Big companies are doing layoffs and we're getting a ton of pressure from work. First no credits for accounts now they whine over every disconnect and I take almost 1000 plus calls a month. So if even 50 of those are disconnects is that too much to bare? Whatever I'll play the game trust in God and get what I can out of that place before things get too topsy turvy. Anyway onto the blog
Certified pt 1!
Well folks A+ is done and I did alot better than I thought I would. It was two exams the core ****and the so called elective. I say so called due to the fact that the elective was harder than the main test! Never the less on the core test 800/900 and on the elective and 871/900 dare I say woot?! Now what appears to be a short ****/p>
It's only 4 units and no elective so next stop after this a wireless cert cnwl or something like that.
Xingu Black Beer
Yea I probably should've put the text in a different color considering the topic we're entering but fudge it. This is the best beer I have had in my life how do you describe a drink that taste like beer but doesn't? I can't say it's like root beer don't know enough about sarsaparilla which I've heard it compared too but the taste is phenomenal and look how cool it looks.
I don't need another heroes
Well it's official I remove heroes from my dvr I'm done don't care what happens to them. Sad since the last season was coming close to season 1 magic and I think they'll get it back with fugitives but I've had enough just looking good isn't enough to much tv to give 13 more chances I'm done. The Closer
Lost was incredible all the naysayers should be quiet now the show is finally coming together and all the misdirection and subterfuge is starting to make sense great job.
Bones and the Simpsons are back as well but I haven't watched them yet. I expect them to be good but not great those shows are personal favorites but not the end all of tv unlike some shows in my tv arsenal. Feel the same way about the Closer but just a little better this is one show I can't see letting fall by the wayside. The characters and most of the times the stories are more than worth the hour.

Tiger Beer
Good beer I'll have to get more this week for the end of the week. I found a drive through liquor store but they have a limited selection so for this I have to go to Specs a real liquor emporium as they say. It's made in Singapore who's food I don't care for but like their beer a lot.
7th Editorship
Well as I said Man v Food is mine! Think of it as a low brow No Reservation's another beloved travel channel show. Sadly the staff member running the Shin Chan board wants the Japanese content loaded to the board not the funimation dub that comes on Cartoon Network each week and is good for those of us who don't speak Japanese on an American tv site
So no Shin Chan for me thanks to nilla chella01 or whomever that gave me those 35 contrib points for the first 7 episodes. Guess I'll focus on the Robotech board I mentioned last blog and Essence of Emeril for some easy points.Riptv2
Well Stargate Atlantis is done
No that's not your imagination that's taps playing softly on the wind thanks to the psyhic manifistation of my pain and rage what the hell Scifi and BSG going away as well nice. On the BSG and Stargate notes two new shows will be taking their places in their respective universes so I guess I shouldn't complain.
Sanctuary no more till fall
When I heard an internet show was coming to tv I was skeptical or at the very least expecting a cheese fest for Friday night Chinese eating and to get me to Bill Maher, drunkeness and whatever IFC is showing till bed time but the show is good a welcome scifi entry and I can't wait for it to come back. On a final tv note Prison Break is done we were wondering how the show could continue after all that's happen this year and thankfully they won't try. The show has had it's run and it's time to let it go now if only 24 could do the same.

Top 500 baby!!!
My icons looked a little funny and after staring for a while I realized that I've cracked the top 500 point scores on the site. Very happy indeed this is due mostly to my subbing sadly since we last spoke it looks like Andrew Zimmermans second show Bizarre Worlds isn't going to get picked up but it did provide 25 contribution points for me. Man v Food is going great I'm over 50 contrib points there and will be taking the guide by January as my time schedule I set. Shin Chan and as I discovered thanks to a mod blog a robotech show that's just dying for additions. I should hit level 33 by mid January and speaking of which.
Level 32!!!
I saw the wammy the other day and I'll need you guys to explain this one to me. I thought it was a fraggle rock thing at first but as far as the wammy don't know what the hell it's supposed to be. Oh well I was a little tired of my blues brothers hat and the wammy is a good piece of decoration for my profile.
Hellsing Manga Started
I started with Book 1 and it was fun learning to read from left to right and despite what I said as a child. A comic doesn't need color to be good and seeing all those anime tells big sweet drops and bug eyes in shock loved seeing the source for such things. So far I'm not seeing why people didn't like the first Hellsing anime. So far it looks exactly like the books although me being in the first book and already at episode 4 of 13 is a bad sign. Can't wait to see what wasn't included in the anime.

Finally since we last spoke I found out that 3 of my shows are kaput. Eli Stone no surprise, My Own Worst Enemy a moderate surprise, and a total shocker Stargate Atlantis. Man they are destroying my scifi Fridays in 2009 I'll have what Ghost Whisperer which is cool but isn't on the scifi channel and Sanctuary. Two friggin shows what the hell and this limits my Friday tv even worse. Those two shows and Bill Mahr are all I have now

Hello all it's been awhile waiting for things to come together for a good blog and the picture uploading is troublesome since my pics come from two sources ending at photoshop. Well anyway it's still fun and I've been keeping busy without blogging around the boards and on your blogs as a lot of you know.
Killswitch beaten!!!
I cut back on my gaming drastically when I started my A+ certification but since the course is coming to an end I started back. Once a week on Mondays I game now and thanks to being so close before I started ****a few weeks and bam Killswitch is done. Oddly easy game for a namco production and mildly interesting. The cover system give me the Gears of War light or primitive version you can see alot of modern gaming elements in this title. I started GTA Vice City which is not bad fugly, bad controls, and very old feel to it but being an 80's gangster is very fun with some hot tunes to boot.

Well I'm sure I said it once but this time I mean it I'm taking a run at Shin Chan. That foul mouthed anime has brought me many happy nights and I want to own it! Next we have Man v Food a new travel channel show in which a guy goes around eating outrageous foods. You know 12 pound pizzas and 6 pound hamburgers. I'm 45 points in so once the show starts I'll do recaps and by the end of December it should be mine.

Well hello all prior to the election I have to put some thoughts in especially for you guys who aren't thinking clearly. As to Obama I'm not going to say he's the savior of the world, the greatest person who ever or is currently living, or that he'll fix all the countries problems in what I hope will be his 8 years as president. I will say he's the best choice for what we have now. If you have to choose between any republican nonsense and Obama, Obama is the clear choice. McCain lost most credibility when he started doing anything to get elected. Buddying up to Bush, Kowtowing to the Christian right, and saying anything his base wanted to hear. He lost all credibility however when he added Palin to his ticket to snag women and those who needed a reason not to vote for Obama. The question is not whether he's ready but are we ready. Ready for something better or more of the same broken policies and attitudes that got us in the crap situation. What Obama would do for the view of this country to the world and what he would do for race relations with in this country to heal the racial divide would be phenomenal. I voted for real change not the fake one's the Republicans came up with out of desperation. This time around they are rushing to copy the democrats instead of the other way around like it was 4 years ago. For any chance of this country moving forward and out of the Bush dark ages vote Obama!

Been doing a lot of subs to my Emeril Green blog and Real Sports with Bryant Gumble. These helped but I do believe it was my last bunch of reviews and my usual posting that did most of the work. Giving Shows the Boot
Yea I can say with almost certainty this is my last year with Heroes. Just not interesting to me and the bad acting I can't stand anymore. Unless we have a freaking Bobby in the shower moment like on Dallas I can't see coming back to this show for another season. Next on the chopping block is Prison break. I actually enjoy each time I watch this show more than Heroes but once again it's the same old stuff. I need more Law and Order can do it but for some reason other shows have to reinvent themselves constantly. I'm tired of just going through the motions with these shows and not having any real lasting enjoyment.

Welcome all it's been awhile between the tv deluge and the impromptu site protest I've avoided blogging for awhile but I'm back with my life's happenings and here we go.
5 Changes
In reference to the site the things I'd like to see changed are
1.The profile layout: Lets go back to seeing the whole profile friends and blogs from the main user page and not those links to everything.
2.Color schemes: Um yea all this white needs to go as a person who has been game deprived due to focus on school. I hate the reminder of the arctic stage every game has too much white so give us ops to change the layout.
3. My forums linked to the homepage again: So nice you sign in and click forums and the world is yours bring it back or at least cut out having to go all the way back to your profile to get to your favorite boards.
4.Click straight to the last topic displayed: No more having to go into the board and find the thread if you recall before all you had to do was click on the displayed thread if that's what you wanted and bam you were there.
5.Image editing: avatars stretched out and ugly really why did the scaling have to change come on?!
Level 30!!!!
Ok this one was delayed due to all that happend and a small thing I lovingly call Hurricane Ike. To think things were looking up when I hit this level the day the storm came but a week later and no power and very little time for submissions. Oh well I'm 40 percent in and as I quest for Chef Chen or the Shin Chan board I'm thinking about taking over. I should be through this level way before the end of the month but there will be another road block to my progress which will come later.

Crusin
Yea despite the picture I won't be doing Al's kind of Crusin not by a long shot. I'll be on a Cruise from Sunday to Sunday starting this week. My mother gets a great rate due to being a nurse so here we go. Can't wait to see what it'll be like I won't be studying but I plan on watching tv and doing my usual routines basically the day is the boats and the nights will be mine.
New Sandwiches
Dominoes has subs wow with this bad economy everybody is going for a gimmick but really it's not like there are people out there who try almost any new food advertised.........
All the sandwiches were pretty good but they won't be replacing Quiznos or your favorite sub joints. You can choose from Philly Cheessteak, Chicken Parm, short for Parmesian cheese, Chicken and Bacon, and the Italian. One note stay away from those Jack in the box Pita's hot garbage trust me

One thing I can say about this is it goes well as a tequila chaser so it'll always have a place in my alcohol arsenal. Well hello all it's nice to be back. Today was the first day since the hurricane that I've had power and I've been spending my days at my parents and nights by candlelight in silence as my laptop died after 2 hours
