Killzone 2, addressing the controls and fanboys

Now many of you may know that Killzone 2 was recently released on the Playstation 3. Now this game is absolutely fantastic, and I have been playing the hell out of it. In fact, I was in the top 10 % of players this past week, so I am feeling special. Bragging aside, I would like to get to the topic. With the release of a great, Sony exclusive release, comes the criticism of fanboys. Although, fanboys are having a very hard time trying to find things wrong with Killzone 2, and there are two main attacks. The first attack was that Killzone sucked, so Killzone 2 will be the same game. That is completely stupid, seeing as the original was released on the PS2, and actually was not half bad. The second claim is that the control scheme is awkward, so you should not play the game. That is completely non-sensical because you can change the controls to match COD 4 and 5 almost perfectly. Set the control scheme to Alternate 2, Zoom hold, crouch toggle for multiplayer, and put the sensitivity all the way up. Now that were past that, the game is perfect, right? Well 360 fanboys do not listen to this claim, and keep saying that they got the game and could hardly play because of the horrible controls and awful storyline and characters. Well, these people never played the game or the demo, so they just want to put Sony and the PS3 down. I thought the story was fine, considering the game had awesome action and boss fights. And the standards for storylines were raised tremendously following the release of MGS4, and at that time, all the fanboys said that storyline does not matter, and the action was all that counted, and there were too many cutscenes and plot twists. Funny how these morons keep contradicting themselves just to make others hate a certain game system. A GAME SYSTEM, a thing you use to have FUN and PLAY GAMES! Fanboys are just so so stupid, its laughable. I give Killzone 2 a 9.5 out of 10, and is currently my favorite game besides MGS4. See you online, message me if you want to play some Killzone, and I hope that this proved some of you idiots out there wrong about the controls. Thanks for reading, and go killzone yourself if you still want to spew sewage about these awesome games.

The Only RIGHT Way to Think About Console Wars

That's it... you've done it... I can no longer sit back and watch the world go by with so, so many people having WRONG opinons!

I'll start out by going on a rant about the "Console Wars"!!! Holy crap, this one is a steaming pile of people who use completely nonsensical Circular Reasoning in order to prove that their system is superior. Well, here's how to think, because you people made me tell you:

Let's start with a list of games on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 which are the most popular:

    360 TOP FIVE

    1. Halo 3

    2. Gears of War 2

    3. Left 4 Dead

    4. Braid

    5. Fable 2

    PS3 TOP FIVE

    1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

    2. Little Big Planet

    3. Resistance 2

    4. Warhawk

    5. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

And now the PROBLEMS with ALL of them!

XBOX 360 TOP FIVE; WITH PROBLEMS

    1. Halo 3: This one was a straight up FPS, and it did that pretty well. Although, the lack of unlockables, customization, and the fact that this game was very similar to previous Halo titles, this one just doesn't stay fresh enough.

    2. Gears of War 2: A very nice single player campaign is almost overshadowed by an utterly lackluster multiplayer expierience, featuring TEN PLAYER MULTIPLAYER! Are you kidding me? And I'm not at all saying that keeping games small is bad, but when Gears 2 doesn't do it well. The game modes are cool, but it doesn't have that lasting greatness that games such as COD 4 had.

    3. Left 4 Dead: This showed up late to the show, because CO-OP just can't be the greatest thing in your game. In fact, many people tack it onto their games for a bit of extra in it. The game feels outdated, and the graphics are absolutely unacceptable. Weapons feel like a counter-strike mod, and so do the environments and characters.

    4. Braid: I don't know why this got such an amazing score, because it is definetly not worth a 9.5. There isn't that much to complain about with this, other than the awful graphics and lack of personalization which make games like LBP so unique.

    5. Fable 2: In an RPG, story is one of the things I want to be very strong. A weak story on an RPG is definetly unacceptable. With crappy characters, and an experience that is far more shallow than greater RPGs like Fallout 3.

    PS3 TOP FIVE; WITH PROBLEMS

    1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots: This was a huge release, but there were some flaws. First, the ranking system for MGO is very very annoying. You can rank down, and much more easily than ranking up. Also, there is a lack of co-op mode and same system multiplayer.

    2. Little Big Planet: The perfect platforming game, but it doesn't get away without a scratch. The camera angle when in multiplayer can be very, very annoying. Especially when you are making a level with your friends, and you can't see what in the hell you're doing because you accidentaly zoomed the camera out and can't get it back in.

    3. Resistance 2: This is an epic game when it comes to multiplayer, but the single player could have been done better. The boss fights are epic, but there is a good deal of trial-and-error gameplay that makes this single player less-than-perfect.

    4. Warhawk: One of the first multiplayer focused games on the PS3, and it had a lot of problems. It had a weird childish ****and a ranking system that was extremely impossible to rank up in. The weapons were also generic, and oddly handling.

    5. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: This game had a really great feeling weapon, cover, and CQC system, but with no multiplayer, these things aren't excersised nearly as much as they should be.

This was my first blog, so if people actually read this, leave comments as much as you like. Don't leave comments saying that i bashed some games too much, or im some fanboy. These are facts: not my opinions.

I'll be making many more of these, about things such as the games that NEED to come to PSP, rants on video game media bias, political crap, and all of the injustices in this world that need to be fixed!
