well this is my last year in school and in construction studies (wood work or what ever else it can be called) we get to make whatever we like. so i decided to be a bit different, instead of building tables and chairs like everyone else in my class i decided to make an electric guitar.

my reason for choosing an electric guitar was that it was easier but would still be a guitar at the end of the day. an acoustic guitar would requier the wood to be steamed and bent which takes a lot of time which i didnt have. so decided to make a guitar using hardwoods so the wood wouldnt chip and break easy and would look a lot nicer than softwoods.

im using oak(white) and mahogany(brown) for it and the fretboard is rosewood. so far its takin well over 3 months to get what i have done so far. its takin ages since i can only do it in school and i have to do everything myself, this is my first time making a guitar or anything this hard so its hard and im taking my time to get it right because the deadline was the start of april and thats long gone. the teacher let me break the rules and bring the guitar home over the weekend to get as much work as possible done so i decided to take a few pictures for the report.

as u can see i still have to cut out the body but other than that its pretty much done. ill have to wire up the pickups and of course put strings on which ill set up tomorow. so far im pretty happy with what i have done. the whole thing shape woods was a idea i didnt copy another guitar i saw i just took all the measurements from my fender strat at home.and if u look at the pictures you will see this guitar looks nothing like a strat. i know its a bit hard to see the shape of the body because its not vut out yet but this is it.

well what do ye guys think of it? keep in mind im 17 and have never made anything this difficult before

wow i cant believe it, i have been at level 20 for a few months going up 1% a day and now finally im on level 21 and up 3%

all i have to do now is make sure i dont get moderated, i dont wanna loose a level and spend another couple of months on level 20

i really loved that game but im getting sick of it which i didnt think would happen. i can beat most of the songs on expert, through fire and flames being 1 of the few exceptions. what a fupin song that is, the first time i played it on normal i nearly died it was so fast but such a cool song. now im stuck on the intro which is pretty much impossable for people that only have 4 fingers.

i cant believe how much the dlc is, it should really be 99c a song not $2. i thought id get the velvet revolver pack because i thought slash would have some good playing in it......how wrong i was. i only knew 1 song and it was great on the cd.....its the most boring song i have played (even on expert) i played the rest of the songs and said "wtf i have been robbed of my $6"

not only is the price of the dlc bad but the lack of it is even worse. every week there is like 10 rock band songs, there must be 50 or so rockband songs and there is about 10 gh3 songs and they all suck.

then to make things even worse the aholes who made it wont allow the patch to make the guitar work with rock band which is insane. how did they not see that rockband owners needed a new guitar and that if the guitar hero 1 worked then people would buy the game for the guitar. they are so stupid it makes me angry and i dont even own rockband. whoever made the decision to not let the patch be released should be fired for being such a dumba$$

well point is im pretty pi$$ed with the guitar hero 3 devs for being so tight. they made a lot from the full game if the rickband devs can sell a song for 99c then so can the gh3 devs

i know its a bug n all so im just making this random blog post so hopefully i will level up soon. i wish gamespot would just get rid of this level so there would be no more problems. anyway iguess i may aswell talk bout something.......

beat uncharted the other day too.....WOW what a game. the story was great and the are graphics unreal they have to be the best so far this gen, i realy couldnt believe how great the graphics are they have to be better than gears of war. i know im thinking far ahead but im realy looking forward to uncharted 2. rumble works pretty well wit hthe game too, as i got further into the game the pad rumbled a lot better.

right now im unsure if i should get unreal tournament 3, orange box or wait until thursday and download the warhawk expansion. im not gonna get both because i like to spend time and enjoy games. its a tough time of year i dont want to buy a game and then get the same game as a presen. then after christmas all the games delayed from november will be out and i will be lost

well thats about it...christmas in 7 days wooo gonna be a good laugh. cant wait to see what suprise sony have (if any) and what special things will happen in games.

I bought my ds3 off ebay just over a week ago for $57 and i have gotten it now. im suprosed it arrived so fast but its all good. anyway the first thing i played was resistance, i was a little dissapointed because the rumble was weak and only rumbles when i shoot or get shot.

i bought uncharted 2 weeks ago from the us (it hadnt been released in europe yet) and still no sign of it nd i paid $20 for shipping and the worst thing is the game is out in the stores where i live now. so i played the next best thing to uncharted.....the uncharted demo. the rumble works quite will here, when you fall jump shoot you get feedback and its good.

the last game i played was motorstorm and wow!!!!! its insane for a moment i thought the pad was gonna break up. the rumble is extremly strong and works VERY well with the way you drive. i was very impressed with this game, they did a great job with rumble for this its perfect.

overall i was happy with the pad because the ds3 was cheaper than a sixaxis in the stores where i live.the rumble is a lot better and stronger than any ps2 game i have played with the ds2, but it wasnt nearly as good as i thought it would be. i was expecting the touch sense thing that rumbled different areas of the pad when you got hit there but nope. the main differences i felt between the ds2 and ds3 is that the ds3 is far more sensitive. when the ds2 rumbled it was gonna be soft medium or hard but with the ds3 it has a lot more settings. when you are boosting its getting stronger and you can feel it building up. with uncharted you can feel the rumble difference between the guns, in resistance..........rumble in resistance is $h!T so i wont talk about it. anyway im very happy with this and i would recomend it to anyone thinking of importing.

the only bad thing is lack of game support but thats only gonna get better over time and hopefully cod 4 will get rumble support before a newer better game comes out

well for those of you who look in the ps3 forums you will know that there is a lot of topics made about xmb and whenever there is you can be sure i have posted in there. i seem to have an obsession with the xmb, its probibly because im the only persion i know with a ps3 so i want it to be as good as the 360 with features.

well i posted this in the forums but this makes a pretty good blog post so ill go into a little more detail in what i think. just so ye know this is just a theory and it might not be true but its a pretty good 1.

well christmas is on the way and as usual we all get presents at christmas. it has now become a bit of a tradition for companys to do nice things around christmas like special things unlocked in games, free download content, free music, half price subscriptions and what not

well reciently some guy from sony i cant remember his name or what he does but he was high up with sony anyway he said they were working on in game xmb i know this has been said before but this guy said this without being asked a question about xmb. maybe the rumors were right and in game xmb has been ready since 2.0. perhaps sony had a plan some way of suprising us with the xmb, and and its a great time to get xmb at xmas!

as far as i know real people do work for sony and they do know that we get nice stuff at chrimbo, any fool working for sony knows that in game xmb is the most wanted ps3 feature. perhaps sony have an update planned for this month.they know what we want and they know that they need to give ps3 owners somthing nice after the dreadful year the ps3 has had. sony know that people would love to have the in game xmb over christmas.

divx support is coming sony can release it whenever they like, they have all the legal stuff sorted so why are they delaying? they paid for it yet they havnt given it to us.

so maybe there will be a christmas update that has the divX and Xmb.

And how many letters are in xmb? 3!!!! see the link??? hmmmmmm something is going on here why wouldnt there be xmb at christmas? for all we know it could be ready sony must be able to keep secrets if they try.a present such as this would revive the faith of a lot of playstation fans and thats what sony want.
