  Fanboyism, was it always this bad?

  To start this blog I would like to say I found these group of people on this site that remind me of the KKK. They will be called the KKK-360. The leader will be _guenter_26. I dub him leader cuz he was the worst out of the bunch. Lol, I just thought of this but the 360 is white colored. But so is the Wii, so I guess this won't work, but I will go with it anyways. Lol, do they hate the ps3 cause it is black. Anyways these guys don't like anything that isn't 360, even the wii is not spared.

  Anyways I hope he, and his cronies, get the chance to read this. I will love to see there post on here. Also I want all of you to view there profiles so you can see how much of a nazi some of these guys are.

  Ok, to my rant. I guess it is more of a question. Was fanboyism always this bad? I can remember the fued between people about the snes and sega. Well we will just say nintendo and sega back then. But I don't really remember a big fued between the N64 and playstation. I don't really remember much of this console bashing in the last generation. I noticed it more as those consoles got older and mainly when the xbox came out.

  Maybe I notice more becuase I love reading all of these fight. Both sides are never really right and never see the good aspects of the systems. I also love reading them becuase a lot of there arguements are kinda wrong and based off of some untruths. I guess it has always been here but I just notice it now becuase I get bored and just pass the time get enjoyment by reading these post and bashing. I just read a post about ps3 fanboys saying that they are childish. I remember reading the same post about 360 fanboys.

  I will admit that I lean more towards Sony, and will never admit (till now) my soft spot for nintendo, but I can see the strengths in each one. They are all great systems. They all have their weaknesses too. Off topic the Wii went up in my book becuase I played some game that had beer pong in it. But I would still rather have the ps3.

  So remeber kids, fanboyism is bad. God hates it and that is a FACT. Darkride66, I think that is his name on GS, post real intelligent comments. And buy Diablo 3. God will love you and loves it and you will automatically go to heaven. FACT

  First person Shooters

  What is up with all of the First Person shooters lately. It seems like all the next gen games are FPS. Have all the developers run out of Ideas? I'm pretty sure that the next gen can do more than this genre. Really though, what can you do in fps that has not already been done? I think the only thing you could have done has been addressed in Rainbow Six: Vegas. Maybe they can make a first person platformer, or an action rpg with guitar hero qualities. I don't know, just do something else besides shooters.
