To call it a career soon
For over two years Ive been posting on these boards. I am great full, great full that these boards have brought me insight to peoples minds, news and thoughts. I really dont know any members personally but still I have shared myself with them as if I did.
I want to thank everyone and anyone who has posted, I know because of it I have learned, whether it be rational or not. More specifically I'd like to thank the The Awesome Nintendo Systems Union, whatever the full title is
, for the fun we've had. Thankyou to The Everything Baseball union even though its been awhile, and to the Nba Union for the short run it had. And who could forget the Angry Black Union who has enlightened me with knowledge not found in textbooks and has fueled my desire to fullfill my future career, despite me not being of color.
To get to my point, though obvious by know, I will no longer be apart of a community that I was so dedicated to since years ago. As of now I dont have a reason other than being busy. Its become apparent that posting in unions is not as adventurous as it was. Soon, not right away, I will displace my positions.
I for one will not forget a few members on this board who I have shared the fun with, and I to hope that you will remember the experiences I had on you.
Its been a fun drive but this is the last stop for me. Live strong, live long, and dont be afraid of being wrong.

There it is, There it is... candy to my eye MLB 2K6
Yes O yes MLB 2K6 will be out for gamecube after the MVP baseball was discontinued for the loss of the lisence agreement. For Months i thought gamecube would have no baseball game this year, thankyou 2K6 for seeing the need of gamecube users.

Tony Gwynn, the man behind the smile
In spring of 2001 Tony Gwynn announced to the public that he would retire after the following season. The coverboy for the entire Padre franchise in their entire history. He spent all most of his career, 20 years, contributing to one organization.
He was a man of baseball, didnt care for more money and he had respect for all of his teammates. He treats the clubhouse kids with as much respect as the CEO. An honest man that would give a strait answer without changing the topic. That smile and laugh was almost trademark, he could make you smile and even laugh because if happiness shines off him like the rays of the sun.
Excellent work habits, he was always the first one to show up and he was never late, he worked to get better and his swing show'd off his sweet game. He undoubtly had one of the best swing, smile and laughter. Tony Gwynn's friendliness and his humble attitude, despite being a super-star, is what he'll be remembered for.
At the time, manger Bruce Brochy had this to say about him:"I played with him, managed him. He'll go down as one of the greatest hitters of all-time and he's just as great a person."
Many of his teamates grew up watching him on TV. It was described them as a dream to one day play with him. In that same season Cal Ripken Jr. retired, both were simulat characters.- Posted Aug 5, 2005 2:32 am PT
