  A response to yesterdays blog

  After recieving many comments by people about the score of The Last of Us and people thinking I am still outraged well guess what, I don't give a monkeys it could have scored a 2 here and I would still have got it. I am just gonna clear things up to say that I am not up in arms about like 90% of the PS3 fanboys on this site. I couldn't really care less frankly I am a gamer that enjoys playing games and I have better things to do than talk about the score and anywhere what's done is done and this is the last blog you shall hear about it. I aren't even gonna bring the score up when I have got my hands on it and finished it.

  I know most these sites,magazines and such give virtually the same score to virtually sport games like soccer/football every year, I play them and go eh same as last year why am I wasting my money on this rubbish. I don't use certain reviews as a guideline. If it has an interesting concept or I am a fan of a particular series I will play it and judge it for myself.

  I mean I didn't throw a 10 at Mass Effect 2 because all the sites were doing so. I did it because it was an amazing experience with an excellent camapaign and brilliant characters. I have given games like Killzone 2 a right bashing because it bored me to no ends and I even went on end to say L.A Noire was dissapointing even though people didn't agree I don't care they are not me and it's my opinion.

  Also I don't throw high scores at Mario or Zelda games because I am biased. I think most in the series are excellent games. I mean I gave New Super Mario Bros 2 a 7.0 and Paper Mario Sticker Star a 6.5. I gave them those scores because they were forgettable I didn't give them those scores because IGN,Gametrailers,Gamespot or EDGE gave them that same said with Mario Galaxy,Uncharted 2 and Resident Evil 4.

  I am just here to clear things up and say that who cares what these sites/magazines give these games they are not us and it shouldn't put us off buying certain games either.

  Tom McShea strikes again The Last of Us GS review

  It's a good thing I don't take GS reviews seriously and Tom McShea you know the guy who gave a certain Legend of Zelda game a 7.5 has gotten the community talking again with The Last of Us giving it a 8.0.

  Well with the high praise the game has been getting plenty of perfect scores GS probably says let's throw in an 8.0 to make us different. I mean they come up with all the postive feedback and then throw either 1 or 2 negative things at the game and say that the game is worthy of an 8.

  Me personally I think this game for me in terms of my hype I have been pushing this game game as maybe the one to dethrone Uncharted 2 as the best PS3 exclusive since Naughty Dog are making it.

  Watch GS give GTAV a 10,Beyond Two Souls a 7.5 and some of the AAA 3DS titles 8s

  My top 10 Most Dissapointing games of this gen

  This is one blog that has been really difficult for me to do but I have decided to go for it and just list my 10 most dissapointing games of this gen. Through either hype,long delays or even a games pedigree these are my 10 most dissapointed games of this gen. Also this is gonna be a big blog.

  10.Metroid Other M:  A follow up to what some consider the best game on the SNES. With a mix of Prime and Super Metroid how could this fail. Well it did, you could only use your abilities like Screwattack and such when activiated. The scanning couldleave you in an area for ages. The refilling of Missles and Health was a pain and don't even get me started on Samus. My favorite videogame heroine was a boring character and she never at the point sounded interesting. Given the brilliance of Prime I expected this to kick on.

  

  9. Gran Turismo 5: If you put alot of time into it I am sure it's not a bad game but the problem being is it took about 4 years in the PS3 lifespan to come out. There was even a Prologue version and to be honest it just wasn't up to the standard of 2 or 3. Given how it was a must have on the PS1 and 2 this is unforgiveable.

  

   8. Bayonetta: A new IP one that in 2010 would be a heavy contender for GOTY but boy was I wrong. The game just felt like a carbon copy of Devil May Cry but with a female playing the lead. Plus it was short and with no reason to go back to it the game just didn't do it for me.

  

   7.DMC: Yes I played it and I can safely say the new Dante I didn't like him and to be honest I just didn't see much change from previous installments and to go with that the bosses were a complete joke.

   

  6.Resdent Evil 5: Coming of the back of one of the greatest games ever what do you do. Throw  online  co - op, no scares,no dark tense enviroments and lame puzzles that a monkey could solve. The bosses were well easy since you barely had to use your own ammo against most of them. Oh and do you know what the worst thing is it isn't the worst RE game this  gen or most dissapointing. That's why it's only 6 there is another RE game on this list.

  

   5.Tekken 6: Whilst I do perfer Street Fighter and MK over it I loved Tekken 3,Tag Tournament and Dark Resurrection but the problem with number 6 was mainly the incredible disgrace of a story mode ever. A cheap final boss and rubbish online play. Me personal I don't think Tekken suits it but at least it redeemed itself with Tag Tournament 2.

  

   4.L.A Noire: Very highly anticapted but in the end it let me down. I played through the entire story mode but unlike say Heavy Rain your decisions didn't really matter on the outcome of each case. As the game went on I was only really bothered in finishing it. Plus it didn't have no reason to go back.

  

   3.Assassins Creed 3: I don't know how many people alone were pumped for this game but to find so many problems with it was what made it such a big letdown. The first half of the game is basically a tutorial and the last about 5 segments were when you really got to be in the main role. Plus the fact for about 2 hours you weren't playing as the main lead it was like MGS2 all over again plus Connor was such an annoying character compared to Ezio. Plus it had bugs in the game too.

  

   2.Marvel vs Capcom 3 Fate of Two Worlds: After years of waiting fans got to play it on their  next gen systems but it wasn't the same. The main Arcade mode was dull. The final boss was a joke and the online play was virtually unplayable at times. Plus with it being Capcom throwing an updated version at top whack for you a few months later made you feel ripped off.

  

   NOW BEFORE I GIVE YOU MY NUMBER 1 I AM GONNA SAY ONE THING. At least these games were solid or some even decent number 1 isn't either and that's what number 1 is. It basically killed this franchise and judging by my blogs in the past and with it being mentioned somewhere in the countdown you might have a clue what number 1 is.

  1.RESIDENT EVIL 6: Yes Resident Evil 5 was a dissapointment and the reason being it isn't as higher as it should be is because of this mess of a game. The Leon campaign is tolerable I can guess but Jake and Chris campaign are boring and take everything out of what made the series good in the first place. It's not the fact the fear factor is gone it's the fact that this game tried to be something it's not. Chris campaign felt like COD and Jakes campaign well just sucked. Also it had so many button like quick time moments that it just made you sick to play.

  The games I listed I can at least say one thing I beat the majority of them this I gave up towards the end of Leons campaign. The melee was overpowered as well it's like ammo wasn't to important in this game. It is a train wreck from start to finish. If you want a good RE game this gen get Revelations either on PS3,360,Wii U or 3DS. I could on for ages about this game but I'd rather not since it was so dissapointed me it sickened me and whilst RE5 was dissapointing I did think it was a good game but not a good RE game. Most of the time GS are wrong but with RE6 they are not avoid this game at all costs.

  

  So there you go my top 10 most dissapointing games of this gen. My top 10 Best shall be coming soon.
