Thought this was funny
THE MAN RULES
Finally , the guys' side of the story. (I must admit, it's pretty good.)
We always hear "the rules" From the female side.
Now here are the rules from the male side.
These are our rules!
Please note... these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!1. Men are NOT mind readers.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports: It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be…
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
1. You can either ask us to do something Or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials...
1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.
1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine... Really.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as Football or Fishing.
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!
1. Thank you for reading this.

Got a temp job + almost broke my tv
I never thought i would see the day, but i will be working at the county fair this year in one of the food trailers. It's kind of weird to think about it, especially since i love going to the fair and eating. Now that i will be working with the food and seeing some of the behind-the-scene stuff before and after the fair closes, i'm afraid it might change my outlook on eating at the fair. Hopefully my outlook doesn't get completely screwed up -_-. I think it will be fun. 11 days of working with those wacky carnival folks; hearing all of the noises and sounds of people vomiting after they've gotten off the Tilt-a-Whirl; the creepy carnival music playing over and over in my head; the smell of burned grease in my clothes...oh yeah, this is going to be awesome

In other news, i finished playing Eternal Sonata...that was a weird game. It was fun, don't get me wrong, but i had a tough time following the story and making connections between the characters and the overall plot. It was definitely a beautiful game to play, but i see what everybody else was saying about the gameplay...it was very linear.
So with that game beaten, i decided to go back to Persona 3:FES since i was at the very end of that game. I ended up beating that one, but still need to play through the Answers to see what's up with Aigis. I'll probably move on to Persona 4 after that.
And i've also been trying to play L4D with one of my friends on expert mode...but good gracious, that thing is stupid hard! We've had a few good runs on the first episode from the first and second check point. Once we start the third area, that's where the bull crap starts to really kick in. The computer starts to send in Hunter after Smoker after Boomer after Tank after Witch and it's just mind blowing how tactical these zombies get. At one point, we nearly made it to the next check point...the "safe spot" was actually in sight. Damn the computer for giving us hope about finally passing the stage because it hurt that much more actually seeing the end. My poor television was about to catch the brunt of my frustration. Needless to say, after such a crushing defeat, we decided to take a few weeks off from the game to gather our self-esteems together again.
So that's it for now. I will be pretty scarce for the next 11 days since i will be doing a 8am - 12am shift between my day job and the fair job. So everybody stay cool

Some creamy MUA2 goodness
So i picked up the new Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 game yesterday and spent about 7 hours or so playing it last night. So far, i am enjoying it. I did, however, have a fool hearty expectation that the programmers and developers would come up with all unique combinations of fusion powers (276 if i did my math correctly). Sad to say, this was not the case. Granted, everybody does whip out a combined super power with everybody else in the roster, but a lot of the sequences were certainly recycled. So far, i've gone back to my roots and have been spamming the hell out of Storm and Iceman because they were both invaluable assets in X-Men Legends. I was happy to see that they powered them back up from the last MUA...especially Storm. They really made her pretty much useless in that game. I haven't had a chance to try out any of the new characters yet since i'm still early in the game, so my subsequent team has consisted of Human Torch and Deadpool/Captain America. I do miss my ultimate team from the first game. They took out Moon Knight (bad ass), Dr. Strange (potential bad ass) and Nightcrawler (bad ass). Regardless, i am still enjoying it.
So, if anybody else has picked it up and would like to play some co-op online then shoot me a message.- Posted Sep 22, 2009 10:58 am PT
