  Will we ever see Virtual Reality?

  I don't know about anybody else, but I am getting quite tired of gaming lately. Sans the minor tweaking in control, aka the Wii, everything seems pretty much the same. There are probably only a few Xbox 360 games that I will be picking up this year, GTA 4 and Ghostbusters, since nothing else that I have seen really warrants a $60 purchase. You are pretty much spending $60 to sit there and do the same thing that you have done for 20 some-odd years, thumb twitch with your controller. The variation from this would be if I decide to pick up WiiFit. That might be nice. But in all honesty, I wish that developers would step it up a few notches and give gamers what they deserve after so many years of loyalty, VR. Imagine, instead of sitting in front of your television set with a controller in your hand watching the action on screen, you are wearing a headpiece that makes you feel like you are actually there! I just feel that there is so much more that developers could be doing, and its a shame to have the same thing so many years later. Give us something fresh and new!

  I was watching the advertisement for the PS3 at the kiosk at Walmart the other day, when I was struck with something to ponder. According to the advertisement "The Sony PS3 is the most real experience you can have". That is quite a brave statement for the arrogant Sony to make, considering they are pitting themselves up against reality itself!!! Could it be possible? Could playing the Sony PS3 be more realistic than real life itself? lol Give me a break. It would have made more sense for them to say something along the lines of "The most realistic gaming experience that you can currently have". I find it funny how Sony can't even get it's self centered, stuck up attitude right anymore, without coming off sounding absolutely retarded. So they can sell videogames, but they can't make a logical statement. Isn't it sad when the dumb ones out there end up making it rich, while those who have attended college and have the smarts still have trouble finding a job. What is this world coming to? It seems like after the PS2, Sony has just been going downhill. The PSP has a horrible pricing strategy, and a horrible marketing strategy. And I think from all of the PS3 crap thats been happening lately, that speaks for itself. No, I'm not a fanboy of any system. I own all of the last gen systems. I'm just a fan of intelligence. Hey, I wonder if the Sony PS3 is more realistic than Jeff Gordan actually getting in a car and racing himself. Sony, you are stupid.
