    It happened a couple days ago, but the the most historic franchise in sports history the New York Yankees have won their record 27th World Series. They beat the defending champions, the Philadelphia Philles 4 games to 2. They won game six 7-3 to clinch a World Series victory, and correct me if i'm wrong but I think Hideki Matsui was named the MVP of the series?
