Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment in New York Cityearly this morning. It was reported that a masseuse knocked on the door for an appointment withhim, but when no one answered, a housekeeper opened the door and found him unconscious. They shook him but when he did not respond, they called the authorities. No foul play is suspected. They found pills near his body.

Heath was 28 years old and leaves behind a 2 years old daughter, Matilda Rose.

Heath was one of my most favorite actors and it's so sad to hear what happened to him. I was devastated whenI heard the news and I didn't even believe that something like this could happen to a man like Heath. I will miss him dearly and my condolences to him family.

Last week my school sent home a letter talking about all the valuable paintings the school board had just discovered laying around in their schools. One of the most valuable being the one found at my school.

A board member realized that some of the schoolsin my district had some very lovely looking paintings, so he decided to look into it to see what they wereworth. Turns out some of them were worth millions of dollars. They combed all the schools looking for vaulable painting and then they stumbled into my school where they found a painting, about the size of 2 (8.5" x 11") sheets of paper in the Principal's Office.

The painting was merely propped up against the wall on top of a drawer and was painted by one of the members of the Group of Seven, a famous group of painters from Canada, named Tom Thomson.

The story of how our school came in possession of the painting says that a teacher from the school had bought itfrom Tom Thomson while he was travelling in Algonquin Park and donated to the school. Long behold 2007 comes strolling around the painting ends up being worth $1.5 - $2.0 million dollars. Another big find was in a school auditorium. It turns out the walls were lined with paintings from a famous painter and added all together, the paintings are worth $5 - $10 million dollars.

However, these paintings have since been removed and have been placed in an air tight, high security vault until they find out what they want to do with it.

In the wake of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, I have learned that Lost may be reduced to 8 episodes! This is terrible news considering they've already reduced it to, if I can remember correctly, about 12 episodes. I thought this would all blow over in a few weeks and that most shows wouldn't have suffered too muchbecause they already have 4 or 5 episodes on hand. But I also learned today that the last strike WGA strike in 1988 lasted 22 WEEKS!

Although I will miss my shows, I do support the WGA strike. I always thought that writers never got a large enough piece of the pie. Without writers, there would be no show. With terrible writing, there would be no show. Shows depend so much on writers, but they treat them like !@#$.

Networks should give them what they want because they work so hard and don't get enough credit as is. Besides they make so much profit from DVD sales anyways that it should only be fair.

Eight episodes doesn't even constitute as a season.

PUSHING DAISIES:The show is about a man named Ned who has the ability to touch the dead and bring them back to life. The first touch brings them back to life, but the second kills them forever. However, if the person he revives is revived for more than one minute,a random personin their proximity will die.

I'm not sure what it is but I love everything about this show! It's the best show of the new season and I can't seem to get enough of it! I love the Ned and Chuck relationship and I'm anticipating the day that Chuck find out that Ned was the reason her father died.

The fairly tale and quirkiness of the show is phenomenal and the writing is fantastic. Watch Pushing Daisies, TUESDAYS at 8pm on CTV (Canada) or WEDNESDAYS at 8pm on ABC.

I discovered an MIA Editor last week and I sent ReportMIAEditor a PM regardingthis MIA editor. They say they check their PMs every Wednesdays and Fridays, but my message has been sitting there unopened for 8 days and ReportMIAEditor hasn't logged on since July 20! I contacted danmod and he said he'd look into it but I've gotten nothing since. This editor has been MIA forever and I need this person retired! Argh!

On the flip side, I got another new Person Guide. I recently discovered a new show that I actually like. I always knew this show was around but I never watched it because in 2006, while I was watching the Golden Globes, 4 of the Desperate Housewives (Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman) were up against Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy." I thought, 80% chance a Desperate Housewife would win, so the chances are good, and since Desperate Housewives is one of my favorite shows, it was only naturalI'd root for the Desperate Housewives. Sadly however Mary-Louise Parker won and I was mad. I decided that I hated Weeds. I figured... "Weeds" they're totally talking about like dandelions and suburbia, what a DH wannabe. Wow, how wrong was I?!

Yesteday I was bored so I decided to give it a shot and watch Weeds. If Mary-Louise Parker can win an award over the Desperate Housewives, then it's got to be good. So I did. I watched a few episodes and it was good. Real good. It's like Desperate Housewives - Money + Pot = Weeds. I never knew pot could make a show so darn interesting. Well, anyways, ironies of all ironies, I'm now theproud Editor of Mary-Louise Parker, the woman I once despised... She's actually a very good actress and she's like 43. I thought she was like 30 something.

I came across this emblem just now, and I can't fathom what it's for. It's not a level emblem because the person who has this emblem is leveled at "Door Number 2." I've tried putting my cursor over it but nothing appears to tell me what it represents. Does anyone have a clue? I'm really glad to see the Levels are moving. Finally!

I went to see Harry Potter yesterday and, by far, it was the best movie yet. I loved the special effects and the storyline was as close as you could get to the book. It lived up to my expectations. Even my cousin who has never read the books or seenthemovie in his life enjoyed it and now he wants to borrow the books from me.

I loved the new characters. Evanna Lynch who played Luna Lovegood did a really good job. She played her a little eerie, but looney, none the less, and it was fantastic.

Imelda Staunton who played Doroles Umbridge did a very good job as well. I hated her annoying laugh and everything about her. She pulled off a good Dolores Umbridge.

Tonks was really cool. That's exactly how I pictured she would look like. It was awesome seeing her hair change and everything.

This movie was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.

Aliya-Jasmine Sovani: Aliya-Jasmine works at MTV Canada. She has previously worked for MuchMusic and worked on shows such as MuchOnDemand and the MuchMusic VJ Search.

Ty Panitz: Most recently, Ty starred opposite Diane Keaton, Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham and Piper Perabo in "BecauseI Said So." His character was annoying in that movie, but I liked him anyways. He was a Gerber baby and is the great-great-great grandson of Babe Ruth!

Ami James: Ami is the fantastic tattoo artist on "Miami Ink." He co-owns Miami Ink, as well as, DeVille USA, and the nightclub, LOVE HATE. Ami mostly does Japanese influenced tattoos but has also done other fantastic tattoos as well.

Laura Vandervoort: Laura is the newest actress added to the cast of Smallville. Her past work includes appearances on Mutant X andInstant Star. She also appeared in many commercials such as the Philadelphia Cream Cheese commercial as the Angel with the perky wings.

Lindsay Hartley: Lindsay is best known as Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald-Crane on the NBC soap opera "Passions." She is a fantastic actress and is one of the best on the show.

Joshua Morrow: Joshua stars as Nicholas Newman on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless."

I watched the Men's Wimbledon finals yesterday and yet again, Roger Federer won... I honestly hate that guy. I do admit that he is the best tennis player in the world. He has a lot of skill and rarely ever loses, however I still despise him. I really wanted Rafael Nadal to win.

Despite Nadal losing 7-6, 4-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-2, he did push Federer to a 5th set which hasn't been done since 2001. May be Federer's losing his touch? (I'm so bias) Anyways I think next year is the year that Rafael Nadal will beat Roger Federer in centre court.

Over the past week, I've gotten a couple more guides. Since I don't write regular blogs like I use to, I'll just cram them all into this "catch-up" blog.

ANDY RODDICK: Andy is one of the top Tennis player in the world. He has won many grand slam titles and was seeded as the World's Best Tennis Player in 2003.

EMMA BUNTON: Emma is best known as 'Baby Spice' from the Spice Girls.

NIGEL BARKER: Nigel is a judge (and sometimes photographer)on 'America's Next Top Model.' With his mesmerizing British accent to his handsome complexion, it is not a wonder why the ladies of 'America's Next Top Model' can't resist the charm of Nigel.

TANIA RAYMONDE: Tania's big break was starring as Cynthia on 'Malcolm in the Middle' but it was not until she played the role of Alex on 'Lost' did she really get recognized.

In all my life I have never gotten a sunburn. I don't even turn red if I'm in the sun for too long. And I have quite a fair skin tone. I know most people wouldn't want one because your skin starts to peel and it hurts and stuff but I've never gotten one so I figured since I was at a baseball game and the dome was open that I would try (I know I'm weird).

Today I went a Blue Jays game against the Colorado Rockies. It was a fantastic game. Full of great plays. I baked in the sun for over 4 hours and I'm not even the slightest burned. My sister on the other hand, looks like a tomato. Okay, well that was exaggerated, but she's definately a shade of red and she put sunscreen on.

I look exactly the same as when I walked in. Though Ididslightly even out my tan on my wrists that I from got from wearing those rubbery bracelets people wear, like the Livestrong ones, but this one is a green apple color and its for my friend who passed away.

The Blue Jays won 11-6 and I am really happy. I got free Blue Jays player cards. I got Adam Lind, Vernon Wells, Frank Thomas, Reed Johnson, Aaron Hill, Gregg Zaun, Lyle Overbay, Troy Glaus, Alex Rios, BJ Ryan, AJ Burnett, Gustav Chacin, Royce Clayton, and Roy Halladay. My favorite is of AJ Burnett. He's hot in that picture. I should scan the picture in some time.

I'm finally done my EXAMS! Which means I am done school until July (I took English in Summer School so I wouldn't have to take it in September)! I'm so excited for the summer! Me and my friend (I mean, MY FRIEND AND I) are making a small bonfire in my backyard on Friday to burn our Anthropology, English,and French stuff because frankly, we won't need it anymore and since those c-lasses caused such a burden on our lives, why not?

Playing with fire is always fun, as long as you do it safey.

I missed the Entourage chat, which I'm pretty ticked about, because I really wanted to check it out. I was studying for a Physics exam... Oh well, there will always be another chat.

I see that the weird level reset bug that hit over the weekend has been mostly resolved. I've seen some people that are still affected by the bug. I've been hit by the CP bug again but Jaxiecracks says that there will be a CP catch up soon so that's good.

QUESTION: What does TAR stand for? I mean there're a lot of gamesin the forums that have TAR in the title and I was wondering what it stood for.

Okay, what happened yesterday was I was multi-tasking, you know, trying to write an essay while going on TV.com... Well, I was at dju010's blog and he was talking about his new level (Log Lady- Level 68 ) as well as 123home123's blog about the 2 year anniversary of TV.com.

Well, I decided to leave a comment...
"Congrats dju! I have to agree that is a pretty boring blog. I really liked 123home123's blog."

My multi-tasking geniusness (I know, not a word), messes up on one word and it seems like I'm trashing his blog and then rubbing someone else's blog in his face...It was a good thing I went to visit his blog again this morning (Yes, because it was a good blog), or else I would have never realized this HUGE mistake.

What I really meant to say to him was... "Congrats dju! I have to agree that is a pretty boring emblem. I really liked 123home123's blog."

Today's my last day of school before exams start... And I've decided to take a look back at the worst and at the same time, one of the most interesting teacher's I've ever had...

In grade 7, before my French teacher had to leavefor maternity leave, she introduced the new teacher to the c-lass. When she came, honest to God, she was dressed in a really short skirt, fish net stockings, and knee high boots. She was pale and everyone thought she looked like a vampire.

When she came, she broughta huge bag of old leftover Halloween candy, as well as some candy that I've never heard of before. We all thought she must be an awesome teacher because come on, how many times has your teacher just brought in a huge bag of candy and told you to dig in. So we all thought she was cool. We didn't care how old the candy was, we were in grade 7, candy was like gold back then.

So as the c-lass was rummaging through the bag, a kid goes, "Hey miss! You're so awesome! There's gum in here!"

The moment he said that, my French teacher said, "Oooh... That's not allowed in school..." and she took the bag away and said we'll split the candy after the new teacher introduces herself. (We Never Split The Candy...)

So she introduced herself and at the point we knew the rest of the year was going to be interesting...

Some of the things she did during the year were...

• Send a kid down to the office because he said SARS come from tropical birds (She sent him down with a note explaining why she was sending him down and spelled SARS, "S-R-A-S-S")
• Send the same kid down to the office for...

  • dropping his pencil
  • asking if he could close the door

She was so bad, there was a student complaining about her to the office everyday. She didn't return as a teacher the next year.

I decided to Google her yesterday; just for fun,and I actually found out what school she teaches at now. The students there hate her too. It was one of my most favorite school years...

Oh, and she let one of her other c-lasses watch "American Pie" and told the c-lass that she rather enjoyed that movie. She was also laughing during the rated R parts.
