  White light and prayers needed

  I got an email from a friend today. Her 28yo son was in a serious motorcycle accident in early August just before he was to marry the mother of his 2yo daughter. He's been in a coma since and has just started opening his eyes. The doctors say his prognosis is good. Please sent all the good vibes you can muster to him in Quebec.

  Babylon 5 fans honor G'Kar

  Actor Andreas Katsulas was known to Babylon 5 fans as alien ambassador G'Kar. He passed away in February, 2006. In December 2006, a Babylon 5 fan discovered a G'Kar mask for sale on eBay and contacted other B5 fans through a Usenet newsgroup for help in purchasing the item. Ten other fans responded to her request and the eleven strangers, connected only by their love of the show, managed to collect enough money to purchase the unused prosthetic mask and donated it to The Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York so that the memory of Andreas Katsulas/G'Kar would be preserved and available to all Babylon 5 fans. The mask was added to the museum's collection in June of this year.

  I can't think of a more fitting tribute.

  Estelle Getty

  Estelle Getty has died at age 84 after a long bout with dementia. In interviews a couple of years ago, her Golden Girls castmates said she had good days and bad days, but didn't remember anyone most of the time.
