So I took a quick break from setting up the baby's room to run out to pick up Mario Kart Wii. I have played the first 3 cups for the 50CC. The game is a lot of fun and the wheel is a cool add on. If you like the original Mario Kart games I think you will be very happy with this game as well.

It has been a while since I posted and life has changed quite a bit. I have moved back to my home town and started a new job at a software company. My wife and I just moved into our new house and we are expecting our first child in 3 months!

On the gaming front, my wife bought me a Wii for Christmas and I have never had so much fun with a system before. The best part is that everyone plays and it is great when all our friends come over. I recently picked up MLB 2K8 and I am playing that. It is a great game, ugly, but great. If you fine tune the sliders to make it a little more realistic it it really improves it.

I will post my Wii friend code on here once I find out what it is. I still don't know whee to locate it....lol

Other than that I still play my PC. I was playing Cyrsis until the Wii came along I dont think I have touched it since though. I love Lost planet and all the Valve games on steam. My user on Steam is _cdn_bacon_ so feel free to add me to your friends list.

I sold my 360 last week in order to get some cash so I could get a new PC. I sold it for over $1000 with all the games and accessories. I am now working on a new PC configuration and should have it in the upcoming weeks. Since I work for a distributer I will be able to get all the parts I need at dirt cheap prices. I will keep you all posted on the new system.

I purchased Battlefield 2 for the PC this week to play on my current rig. It was only $20 at EB so it was a good deal. I am terrible but slowly getting the hang of it all. If any of you out there play add CanadianBacon81 to Xfire and we can play some time.

So I just thought I would update some things in my gamer life. I have gotten my gamerscore up to 3600+ whihc is pretty solid I think. I have purchased a ton of games over the last couple months, the latest being NBA2k7, Battlefield Modern Combat and Crackdown to bring my 360 library up to 20 games! I have also picked up the 2 latest arcade titles Paperboy and RootBeer Tapper, both of which are just plain fun. I think I have a total of 11 arcade games now. I haven't been very active in the GS community as of late, but if you know me you know I am a little streaky when it comes to this place. I look forward to talking to you all and I will have a few impressions of my new games up in the next few days.
