Well, I haven't bought a game since Super Smash Bros. Brawl (except for downloading Protothea and Defend Your Castle). A special someone is getting me Mario Kart Wii for my birthday; otherwise, I'm waiting for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, Gyrostarr, and The Conduit to come out...although The Conduit won't be arriving until next year...
I sure hope The Conduit delivers the FPS experience that the Wii needs. I've also got hopes for a good FPS in Call of Duty 5. I'll guess that I'll just have to wait and see...
The title is a little weird, I know. But there are two things that I am talking about when I say "been a while." The first is easy: it's been a while since I posted on here. Easy, huh?
The other is about Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's been what, seven years since Melee came out? I remember playing Melee on Christmas morning with my brothers. It was the first Gamecube game we ever owned, and now the sequel is almost upon us. It's pretty exciting, but let's hope that it doesn't make me fail school!
Yes, I've got Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and I've been merrily popping away at hordes of zombies and other B.O.W.s for a few weeks. It's a blast!...pun intended. All of the extras and upgrades give you plenty of replay value (although the ultra-tough mini-game makes me want to scream), and two-player co-op adds that extra bit of fun. Plus, the extra story information is a great asset for any Resident Evil fan.
So, I've had Age of Empires III for several months now...but the laptop I currently own can't play it. That was a sad day when I found that out! (Target's return policy would not let me return it.) But now that my laptop's harddrive crashed (it's running temporarily now), I've got a new laptop on the way! Hooray! Now I can play it with my roommate, like we did last year with AoE II. I think we clocked more hours on that than we did in class combined one semester...okay, so it'sa bit of an exaggerration.

Well, I beat Zelda: Phantom Hourglass the other day. It's definitely one ofthe best DS games on the market to date. Even the multiplayer is lots of fun...except for the insane amount of people that quit online! Oh well, what can you do?
I'm really looking forward to Battalion Wars 2 in a little over a week. I'm sad that there's no voice chat, but I'm sure that it'll still be tons of fun. The only bad part is that Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 all come out a few weeks afterwards! Man, don't these companies know that I can't play everything at once?
The most exciting news that I've heard recently, though, is the announcement for the next Advance Wars game. Finally, online play! That's what I missed in the last game. Oh, and Okami coming to the Wii: I never had a chance to play it on the PS2, but it looked amazing. It looks like I'll have to give that one a try.

Yes, it's true. I was on my way back to campus (I have a break in my classes on Tuesday) from picking up a copy of Zelda, and I got rear-ended at a stoplight. There was very little damage, and only slight discomfort in my neck, but otherwise it's no big deal. Dang you, Zelda!
