    The Day After

Hello to you all my friends. It's been quite some time since I blogged, no news from me since my move actually. I've been real busy working in the house and lately I've been busy designing all sorts of things. I'm not forgetting about you, don't fret From the bottom of my heart I'm sending you my very best wishes for 2009 !

It's been cold since November here. Very cold. Actualy it's freezing and we're even having a few inches of snow. Yesterday I walked into town and took the bus back home on a sinuous road surrounded by pinetrees. A truly magnificent scenery, like the ones you see on postcards. It's been years since we had so much snow, not to say decades. The other good thing about is that we are no longer lectured about global warming. Ecologists have their voices frozen, maybe the'll get more talkative the day after

I've been catching up on some games I had to play and movies I wanted to watch. I noticed games were much more innovative than the most recent movies. There's now a trend in Hollywood to readapt sgi-fi movies from the 50's. The end result is quite disappointing because the story is more or less the same, what differs is the (abusive) use of SFX. Personally I find the movies from the 50's were great as they were and they don't need to be modernized. Also I found the last Indy terrible : no script + all SFX = boring. There are just so many new sci-fi ideas that could be made into great movies. Are we living the days when imagination stood still ?

Lastly I've been considering buying a new version of Photoshop since I'm still working with my good old Photoshop 7 version. I guess I'll have to be patient (or get lucky) because the new version is expensive (but it makes me drool with envy ). Don't worry I accept donations Take care my friends, catch you later.

    Positive Proof !

Positive proof is what people need most. There is positive proof I'm definitely back, alive and kicking with this new blog entry. Hi to all my friends, it's been quite a long time since we had the opportunity to have a little heart to heart. It finally took some six weeks before I got connected at home. It's more than I had thought but well ... good things take time !

Positive proof this is probably one of the best song I've ever heard, so I'd like to share it with you. This song just takes my breath away, nothing more I can say.

Positive proof I'll be buying the new PS3 with Dualshock 3 controllers. I always knew from the start the loss of rumble WAS an issue as IS the loss of BC ! Though Sony was dishonest with its fans, the PS3 seems to be the most powerful console on the market right now.

Positive proof global warming is a reality as shown in the picture below. I wonder how Al gore didn't make use of that snapshot to back up his inconvenient truth. Love to you my friends, catch you later !

    Almost but not Quite

First, hello to all my friends on GS I miss you so much. My move is done even though there are still a few things I have to gather in my old flat. Incredible how you can find objects you almost forgot you had them The new house is a nice place to live, I now even have a little garden ! How sweet The only rain cloud is that I will be off the net for something like ... a month Even though we're living in the communication age, I'll have to live without phone, Internet and TV for that period of time. You said surrealistic ? When you move you actually have to warn the cable company one month beforehand (and you failed to do just that Eric ) it's written on the contract (damn smallprints !!!) but I could not imagine it could take that long. I sometimes wish I lived in the US, that kind of contracts would be anti constitutional over there. So I cannot blog as much as I want to, I cannot talk to you as much as I want to, but I do care about you folks. Catch you (a bit ) later (than usual)
