Ok, I've made myself a semi-promise. I WILL not replay the first two Bioshock's until the new one comes out. These two are among my favorite games of all time (plus the God of War Series), and I seem to replay them every few months. Especially 2. With the new SSX coming out later this month, finally, I'll have a game I can play a ton til Infinite. Not much else going on, what do you all think about the Bioshock series?

Peace,

Bryan

BioShock original is certainly one of my favourite games ever: BioShock 2 I have extremely mixed feelings over. I am hoping BioShock: Infinite is going to have the same spark of amazingness the original had. :)

@exber: I've been playing video games since Pong. These two are at least in my Top 5. They mix everything together, must play 1 before 2 though. And their a steal at todays prices!

All that i can say it's that the story(according to what many friends of mine told me) it's great for a FPS:D now i ask you, it is?;)

Thanks for the comments all. I liked them about the same. With Bioshock you had a brand new world and theme. Part 2 had a much stronger emotional story, IMO, and with all the various endings begs to be replayed. It's probably my favorite of the two. @rawsavon: yes I'm back for good, not ignoring anyone, especially you!

I loved the first one. The second one didn't really impress me but it was still a great game.

The original is one of my favorite games. I can't wait for Infinite. And SSX.. oh the nostalgia.

I haven't played the second one but the first one was a good time. I played it on my PC a year or two ago and once I started using/upgrading the crossbow it became laughably easy. Still, it was a good time and the "a man chooses" scene with Andrew Ryan certainly stands out as a truly great moment in my many years playing games.

I just started playing the first game for the first time and am very impressed by the world / looks / gameplay so far. I hope I can finish 1 & 2 before Infinite comes out

I love them both too. 2 seems to get a lot of hate, but I thought it was awesome. In fact, I'm going to go replay it right now.

Nice to have you back around. I'm with everyone else in thinking that the first game was the far superior of the two, though I enjoyed the second well enough and thought that showing the extreme in the opposite direction of the political spectrum through the developers' POV was interesting.

I haven't played the sequel yet but I have it in my backlog of games to play. The original was one of the most memorable gaming experiences of this generation.
