  School= no gaming

  Hey Gamespot!

  I've been quite busy with school work so I haven't had much time for gaming. I've been playing a bit of MGS4 and COD4 here and there but that's it! Planning on getting Star Wars Forced Unleashed this coming month and that new Ferrari game coming out on the 26th.

  So anyway just wanted to give you guys a quick update. I'll post once I get something or if I get enough time to play somthing.

  Just Finished Playing One of The Best Games of All Time...

  And that game is Metal Gear Solid 4. This game is definitely a candidate for GOTY. I'm not being a Sony or MGS fanboy either. When a game has the ability to effect your emotions positively in anyway, then you can consider that game to be a good and memorable one. I've played many games and enjoyed them like Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, and other games like GoW and Halo back when I had a 360. However, the deep story of this game just blew me away. Well... that's all I'm going to say about this game for now. Expect a review soon for this game. Oh, by the way, I finally did all those reviews I promised....atleast I hope I did. Let me know if I'm missing any overdue reviews.

  Before MGS came out, I'd just been playing COD 4. Then, MGS4 came out and I'd been rushing to finish that. The reason I rushed to finish MGS 4 (which I literally just beat a few minutes ago) was because I'm going to be on a trip in California and won't return for 3 weeks. I'm leaving on Wednesday...2 more days to game. I might do a blog or something while I'm on the west coast.

  Anyway, I'll probably just be on Metal Gear Online until I leave on Wednesday. Sorry my blog is so short.

  My Summer So Far

  My summer vacation has been filled with gaming so far. I've been playing PS3 games, PS2 games, and been getting some GBA action.

  On the PS3 side of things, I've been playing Call of Duty 4 which is plain boring to me now. I've gotten all you can out of it. Its like squeezing the juice out of a flat orange--- all the juice is gone. However, this will change once Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out. I sold Rainbow Six Vegas and pre ordered the MGS4 yesterday and am ready to play it on June 12. This is a risky move on my part, because I've never played a MGS game. I watched gameplay footages, trailers, and the dvd that comes with the preorder. I kind of get the gist of the story but it is the gameplay that I'm a bit skeptical about. I mean the gameplay looks cool and all but I don't know if it will feel good (if that makes any sense). Also, I usually buy games after reading reviews on them but the reviews out right now are mainly of Playstation Magazines which will obviously give the game a good score. I was going to wait for Gamespot's review but according to a bunch of people on the PS3 forums, Gamespot is biased against the PS3. Please Gamespot, let me know in the comments whether I (being a lover of shooters) will like MGS4 with its stealth based gameplay.

  On the PS2 side of things, I bought GTA Vice City out of a bargain bin and played some of it. GTA 3 and Vice CIty have been great for bargain bin games. I think I may get the MGS Collection bundle thing they released recently (includes MGS games 1-3).

  I've been needing a reason to play my DS which doesn't get played with much. SO I started playing Pokemon Leaf Green. I know I know, Pokemon is lame. However, I still have great memories from the original games from when I was young and wanted to relive those experiences. Leaf Green is a GBA game though and still need a solid DS game or else I think I may sell my DS. I've been playing some Mario Kart DS but a relative is currently borrowing that.

  Lastly, I've been playing some Wii games like Wii sports and Super Smash Bros Brawl.

  Well, that's all I've been doing. I'll probably write another blog once I get MGS4. Also, I've just finished writing reviews on Assassin's Creed (way over due) and The Godfather Game.
