Hey all! So I drove 3 hours to Fort Worth to see JA in A Few Good Men, and I had a great time! To check out my recap and pics, visit my blog at http://brighette.livejournal.com/12722.html.

Oh yeah, baby, look at me!  Level 15!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who believed in me and never gave up.  I couldn't have done it without you *wipes tear away*

So, now the question is - does the obsession remain - only 99% to get to level 16!  Ouch, that's kinda far...I need to get to work!

Though according to HellOnEarth101, I'm actually 0.61% away.  How do I see it in that sort of breakdown?  Is that a preference?  I need to get to 15!  My obsession is back, at least briefly...hmmm, what can I write a review of?

By the way, y'all did NOT follow instructions!  People looked at my profile, and now I am no longer the devil-girl.  I am crushed and hurt!  I guess I'll have to wait for 1666 views (which is nowhere near as cool) and try to just keep it there.

Thanks for the early congrats on 15, I hope that by tomorrow I will actually be there and I can make y'all proud!

I currently have 666 views of my profile!  Yay!  No one else look at my profile, just let it sit there - devil girl, that's me!

And I'm 1% from level 15, so I'm posting this blog in the hopes that it will nudge me that little tiny bit that I need to make it...I used to be so obsessed with my levels!  But my obsessions come and go, with the exception of Supernatural.  That one has yet to wane.  Come on Season 3!

Anyway, feel free to check my level tomorrow without looking at my profile!  If I go over 666, then I'm hunting some folks down.

Weird, I guess they lowered the amount you have to submit to be an editor.  I am now Jason Connery's editor, I guess cool!  Though I doubt that there will be much traffic there

Why do I not have access?  I'm level 14!  Stupid TV.com.

So Bobfisk, this is for you

Gotta love Lynch!  I saw him live, opening for Mitch Hedberg a few years back - obviously, since Hedberg is no longer with us.  Personally, I preferred Stephen, he should have been the headliner.  Though that was towards the end, when Mitch was too far gone to be funny anymore.  But Lynch, still genious

21 years I have waited.  TWENTY-ONE freakin' years.  And after an awesome start, my Bears couldn't seal the deal.  I'm having flashbacks to 2003 and my Cubbies.

And my hubby, who didn't quit smoking in July when I did, doesn't have any cigarettes, so I can't even go have an angry smoke!

Here's hoping I don't have to wait 21 more years.

OK, I have no clue how to do this!  I tried to email a clip to myself, but it was blank.  Anyone know what I need to do??

    Thanks

Well, the concert was a blast! A bit of a younger crowd than I expected, but the band was great. They sounded as good live as they do on the album, and I always appreciate that! Opener was Mute Math, which I had heard of but hadn't ever listened to their stuff. They were actually pretty good, checking them out on iTunes.

My only complaints would be The Fray only has one album, so you know pretty much what you're going to hear, though they did have two new songs they played. Of course, that was to be expected. Also, they don't vary much from the way they sing it/play it on the album. Personally, I like it when singers/bands change it up some.

I took some pics & short clips with the cell phone. I have never used my camera on the phone before, so I'm not expecting much. Tonight, I'll figure out how to get them onto the computer and maybe be able to share some.

And next concert? The Killers in April! Tickets go on sale this weekend!

OK, this is on the CW page, so I'm hoping someone from the network sees and listens! Vote for which of your favorite CW shows you'd like to see renewed! You can vote for more than one show, but I don't think you can vote more than once - hope you're catching that.

Of course, my votes went to Supernatural, Veronica Mars, Smallville and (my guilty pleasure) One Tree Hill. I'm not really worried about Smallville. But the others have been on the fence before, so hopefully this will help sway the execs. Hey, a fangirl can dream, right?

Once again, my links aren't working...grr! But here's the site:

Oh yeah, I am an Autobot!  Long gap between level 13 and 14, but I made it.  And made it a good ways into 14, so hopefully 15 won't be so far away.

Saw Jet Li's Fearless recently.  I didn't like it as much as say, House of Flying Daggers (the cinematography in that movie was breathtaking), but it was still good.  Worth seeing just to see Jet Li's final martial arts epic.  He's going "serious" on us.  Whatever.

I haven't been on TV.com as much during the summer, but I'll be back with the coming of CW's must see TV - yes, that would be Supernatural and Smallville for those who somehow don't me.  And newly discovered for me, Veronica Mars.  Though only SN and SV will ever be watched live, I'm too much a fan of the DVR to watch commercials, but I sacrifice on Thursdays.

Hmm, so let's see, what's new.  I got a new job.  I did successfully quit smoking for my b-day.  My hubby got a motorcyle - Ninja 250.  I get my 2nd tattoo in exchange for THAT purchase.  Trying to decide what I want...

If you like Jason Statham or action flicks, check out Crank, good fun.  If you like horror films, be warned that Pulse isn't great and The Covenant isn't either.  I will be seeing Grudge 2 on Friday, October 13th.  Judgment to be passed at that time.

So, see everyone some more starting next week!  Only 6 days to go...

Saw my nephew yesterday, he's almost 3 and already listening to Queen!  It's awesome.  He can sing "We are the Champions" and "We will rock you."  Coolest kid   He's got his own CD of their Greatest Hits and goes off to his room sometimes to put it in and rock out.

And Stones update - tickets go on sale for the concert here in Austin on 8/19 - less than a week!  I'm getting so excited, can't wait!  I've already told my boss I need October 23rd off, the day after the concert.  When he found out why, he said he might need the day off, too.  LOL!

Well, another year has come and gone - goodbye my 20's!  I will miss you...I guess I am truly, officially, an adult now.  Do I have to act like it all the time, though?

So here's to 29+1!  I'm not that worried, but we'll see later today, once it really hits me

"Word has it that the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band is coming to
the world's live music capital. Look for an announcement next week that
the Stones will play Austin's Zilker Park on Sunday, Oct. 22."

Woohoo!!!  I'm so excited - I want to see them again, and that would be amazing to see them here in my own city   Keeping fingers crossed...

WOW! Finally saw it today, and it was fantastic! Everything I hoped it would be and more...

Movie starts - Marlon Brando's voice and I start getting excited.

Queue music, and I start getting chills. John Williams is a god, he just is.

Roll vintage Superman credits (same font and effects, I loved it!) and I'm positively bouncing in my seat!

I think they did an amazing job with this movie. I still am not 100% sold on Kate Bosworth as Lois, but she did better than I thought she would, I must say. Brendan Routh was excellent - he seriously looks and sounds so much like Christopher Reeve at times, that it's just scary. Kevin Spacey clearly was having a ball with Lex. Bryan Singer did a great job with this, as I knew he would, he's such a great director.

If you haven't seen this, go, now!

Also, got my first preview for Spider-Man 3, which I already cannot wait for...though it's a year away, darn!

***SPOILERS*** Read no further if you haven't seen the movie...you have been warned!

So, I think the fact that Clark and Superman left and return at the same time should be a clue to the intrepid reporter, Lois Lane. But whatever. Willing to overlook Also, strays from the mythos some in the fact that he has a son! But it worked for the movie, so again, willing to overlook.

Loved the fight scene and Superman's sacrifice at the end - the cinematography was outstanding.
