What appeared to me as a pretty strange idea for a movie is now to me a pretty interesting book. Seeing the trailers for the film I've been thinking "wow, what kind of psycho thinks of something like this." When I sawa novel in Walmart with the same name I thought it was just an adaptation from the film but I learned that this novel came first. I wanted to spend some money so I bought it and started reading. I'm not far in yet but I have to say I'm impressed with the opening of the book. It seems very well researched with the early life of Abraham Lincoln including his childhood and family. It also has excerpts from a supposed secret journal of Abraham Lincoln that chronicles his vampire hunting and early life that makes the book feel more realistic. I'll have more about this book once I read more.
