    Majoras Mask

As most of you already know, a couple of weeks ago Nintendo added The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask as the Virtual Console's 300th game. I played Ocarina of Time on the N64 and loved it, but passed up Majoras Mask because it looked strange. But as it arrived on Virtual Console for only $10, and me being a big Zelda fan I couldnt resist and bought it. This happened not too long ago, and now that i've beat the game I've realized something: passing it up was a BIG mistake.

What you are looking at my friends, is a masterpiece. From the start I was a bit nervous about the whole time thing, but I realized what incredible things it actually did. The way Majoras Mask made characters just not seem so robotic unlike Ocarina of Time was pretty much all do the factor of time. People were at certain places at certain times and developed depending on what you did the day before or what not.

When I first realized this I was very impressed, but one thing that got me thinking was how different the game was compared to any other Zelda game. For one thing this is truly the one Zelda game where Link simply cant save everyone. He could save the Gorons and then return to day one to find that everything had been undone was very weird for not only Zelda, and game in general. Also, the game was pretty dark. With out going into spoilers let me just show you this:

Overall, Majoras Mask adds up to a very epic experience. Not my favorite Zelda game but definetely on of them. In short : best $10 spent ever.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 or Super Mario Galaxy 1.5?

I've been thinking about this a while after watching Nintendo's press conference. When I watched the debut trailer I was happy because it was MUCH better then the "vitality sensor" and all the other boring stuff in the conference. But while I was watching the trailer I couldnt help but notice that the game looked remarkably similar to the original, except with Yoshi.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Seriously take a look:

    (Super Mario Galaxy)

I mean seriously. They honestly look pretty much identical apart from the addition of Yoshi. I played Super Mario Galaxy and I enjoyed it, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 will probably be good but....

I'm not too impressed with the trailer. Lets hope Nintendo mixes up the game from the original so it wont be confused for $50 worth of downloadable content.

    E3 Games...

Wow. I watched Microsofts Press Conference on 1UP because it was running very badly on Gamespot, and I have to say Microsoft had a great conference. Halo Recon looked pretty cool, Left For Dead 2, Splinter Cell Conviction(LOOKS AMAZING) and Natal... Idk about Natal but its a lot cooler then the PS3 thing

Now onto Nintendo's conference. I was very nervous because I didnt want it to fail as badly as last year and I wanted a new Zelda. it started off well with New Super Mario Bros. and then thats when they announced Wii Fit plus whhich is when I stopped caring. I watched them talk about it and then go on to the DS. (They showed a lot better DS games then Wii IMO) I almost died when I saw that fashion game . But what I only cared about was the Wii stuff. I had pretty much determined the conference was a complete disaster when Iwata talked about that Pulse monitor thing. but then they FINALLY started showing some good stuff SMG2 (which looked a lot like SMG) and the Metroid trailer was EPIC. But I was still disappointed with the conference.

Then later as you all know, Zelda Concept Art was passed around in Miyamoto's conference. I'm not very excited as well... I'll wait for a trailer or some screenshots before I get too hyped.
