Sonic Unleashed, Redeemer or Destroyer?
There has been alot of talk about Sonic Unleashed. While the gameplay appears incredible, we still know near nothing about it. So far we know....you are Sonic. You can run, use some sort of speed boost, jump and collect rings. The debating part is mostly WereSonic. Sega recently officially announced WereSonic. We still don't know what's up with that. First of all, the trailer only clarifies that Sonic turns into him. Supposedly there are multiple levels, day and night. WereSonic is either Tank or pretty much Super Sonic. I'm guessing Tank levels. Hack and slash. But will they be the same levels as normal Sonic? I think not. They will probably be 3d hack and slash, mixed with high speed platforming. That is a terrible idea. When will Sega learn. They had it right for nearly 2 minutes! The Sonic levels look to be the pinnacle of awesome. I mean OoT beating good. But then they have to add another character. The only way to solve this is to stop it. Stop it Sega, you had enough characters in Sonic 1! Maybe I'm wrong. I shall wait and disagree some more later.- Posted Apr 8, 2008 3:44 pm PT

Crysis Wii and why I hate you
There has been a supposed leak of "Crysis Wii". This is fake. I don't care if you tell me that it's fake. I'm okay with that. Just don't tell me the Wii couldn't do that. I know that it's not as powerful as the PS3 or the XBOX360, but it's far more powerful than any last gen system. Your basing it's potential on what has been done. Potential is what can be done. There hasn't been a Wii game that has gone beyond the power of the PS2. Using simple math we can deduce that the Wii has the potential to completely trounce anything that has been done on it so far. Just look at what has been done last gen. Twilight Princess, Rogue Squadron 3 and Resident Evil 4 are all GAMECUBE GAMES. I believe that it has been already proven that the Wii has more than two times the Gamecubes graphics rendering power. Not only this, but it is more efficiant. The Wii's technology isn't only stronger, but better than that of last gen consoles. Mathmatically, if the Gamecube could take 1+1 and have 2, the Wii could have 1+1 and have 3-4. Now if you consider that the Wii has more than 1+1, it can do far more than the gamecube. Not to mention that Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3 and SMG have yet to use half of the Wii's power, and they all run at 60fps, the Wii could definately run the version of Crysis that that screen shot came from.
Oh, and by the way, I've decided to start posting all my entrys as editorials, just in case.

Super Smash Bros Brawl, and why I just don't feel it anymore
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is one of the greatest games I have ever played. It has everything a game needs to be great. Gameplay, music, graphics and a bunch of pointless features that I couldn't care less about. But so far I've logged 20 hours playing it. I'm a teenager. I am mentally developing at a ludicrous speed. Adults look 20 years back and say "what was I thinking?". I look 2 hours back and say "what was I thinking?". My point is that, while I used to enjoy any old video games, everything seems more complicated now. Games seem to need more than content to make me happy now. It's never a happy occasion when a casual turns hardcore. It's like losing most of your tastebuds. You can still eat pizza, but now only caviar gives you any flavour at all. I need depth in my games. I don't care if the graphics are beautiful, the music is fully orchestrated or even if it's as funny as cock fighting(yes I mean roosters). I need an adventure that will keep me occupied for atleast 50 hours, just beating the main quest. I need Zelda games. Yes, Zelda games. They are the pinnacle of gaming. Never before have I played games that awesome. Even after logging 500 hours, beating it 9 times and collecting every single bonus thingy, I can't put them down. If I'm bored I'll just fire up Twilight Princess and roam the fields, maybe go down to Lake Hylia and fire a few bomb arrows into the sunset. Maybe I missed a gold chu in that really long cave, better check. My point is, the hardcore gamer craves depth. So if you ever wonder "what the hell do those hardcore gamers want????", I just told you.
