Fun w/hydrochloric acid
Yeah, so I've noticed that I haven't been...blogging much. Waaaayyyy too much time on the forums. Plus, I can't do too much typing right now. Let's just say that I got into an accident involving my hand and a beaker of hydrochloric acid. It hurts, I'll tell you that much. Not much else going on right now. Playing some Animal Crossing: Wild World. Tons 'o fun, that it is. Hoping that someone will be on Wi-Fi soon. *yawns*

Xbox 360
Ah. One of the next-gen consoles. I personally don't like Microsoft and the Xbox line of products. I'll admit that Xbox Live is the best online gaming service to date, but Sony's improving their online service, and Nintendo's supposedly partnering with GameSpy for their service. I just think that the 360 won't do so good. Now, before I suffer the wrath of those retarded Microsoft fanboys, listen to this. Releasing the 360 this year is stupid. MS probably thinks that they'll have the advantage that the PS2 had this console cycle, but personally, I think that the hardware requires more time to make it better. Next comes the issue of the games. The PS3 has way better graphics, and I bet that the Revolution will have better graphics, too. The Xbox has way too many rated M games. I don't want to sound like a terrorist, but I think that the American culture is way screwed up. By American standards, a game isn't good unless it's ultra-violent or racy in some way. I like the Japanese market way better. That's why the PS2 and GameCube sold in Japan. They had innovative games that weren't inappropriate in any way, but were addictive and oh-so-fun to play (Katamari Damacy, I'm looking at you). Then, there's the price. Holy crap! It's gonna cost an arm and a leg just to buy the Core System package (If you don't know, that's the package that doesn't have a hard drive). OMG, the package with the hard drive is insanely expensive. You need to be Bill Gates just to buy it. Then, from what I've heard, MS is kinda cutting Japanese support for the 360. Even though the Xbox had craptacular sales in Japa, there was still sales. I'm sorry, but I think that the 360's gonna bomb.- Posted Aug 27, 2005 5:49 pm PT
