There was a Lock-in Event at GAME where I live in Newcastle; they had to keep a number on a small group people to play the demo/game a little early before everyone and luckily I've managed to get first hands on the playable demo-

I was there for at least a good 2 hours, they even had God of War playable on other PS3 consoles and of course free doughnuts from Krispy Kreames. And a fun fact is that this week is National Doughnut Week which was even better along with free Sprite and Dr Pepper. I wasn't allowed to take any photos or videos on its gameplay but did take down some notes, in fact the demo was from GameStop so its likely thats where the demo came from to begin there was at least 5 PS3 consoles that had the playable demo up.

Like the Uncharted series you'll get the idea that it borrows some of the gameplay elements likes its 3rd-person gameplay and its button mashing when it comes to lift large objects or encountering certain enemies. If you've been watching The Walking Dead series or played a few stealth games you might get the idea why Naughty Dog wanted to make this game in the first place, you are sneaking around enemies called Infected which are like zombies or walkers whichever one you want to call them. Using the left analog stick to move and the right analog stick to use your torch, circle was to crouch down small areas and sneaking pass enemies, you can use the L2 and R2 to throw objects or throw them at a far away distant because noise can attach their attention.

You can use guns too but your limited to ammo, but you can pick up random items which will be scattered around various places and you can make your own weapons and first-aid kits. Certain objects are quite handy to have like a sharp knife or a plank of wood which is great to sneak around and attacking them from behind, if you hold the R2 button you can listen to their sounds and movements to know where they are heading. The health bar is a little similar to Uncharted which I've just mentioned but if your surrounded by enemies you not going to have a chance to defeat them all and will end up being out numbered and eaten alive.

    lastofus.jpg

As always Naughty Dog have always created some of the best games for the Playstation, the graphics for The Last of Us look really impressive to look at in a End of the World type of game in a ruined city. I was curious to know if there would be any Easter Eggs in the full game and I did talk about this to a few people like what if a Precursor Orb was added in from the Jak and Daxter series or if not a movie poster of Uncharted pops up in the city. Or even better a Crash Bandicoot toy in a childs bedroom that would be even funnier, its likely that the demo will soon appear on the Playstation Store sooner or later before the game is released, but it was worth the play and likely be worth the purchase when the full game is released next month.

At the end of the event I've managed to get some free posters one for myself and the other 2 for anyone else-

As promised a few days ago my movie review on Iron Man 3 which I saw last week with my friend during the Bank holiday and apart from that both Persona 4 Arena and Bioshock Infinite have been taking some of my hours especially Bioshock can't stop thinking about Elizabeth-

    Elizabeth-BioShock-Infinite.jpg

Spent almost a whole day playing Bioshock, I really don't play many FPS games but I am totally glad I've now played this game Love the sky-city environment and just past the halfway point so no spoilers please until I've beaten the game on my first playthrough.

Now back to my review on Iron Man 3

    iron-man-3-crouching-pp33075.jpg

    Iron Man 3

    UK Release- April 26th 2013

    US Release- May 3rd 2013

    Mins- 130 Minutes

Third film takes place straight after Iron Man 2 and The Avengers if you've been following the last few Marvel movies. Third instalment for its plot is that Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) is against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds (Mandarin). When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man. Other actors return in Iron Man 3 including Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper) and Don Cheadle (Col James/Iron Patriot). Guy Pearce does a great job as Aldrick Killian, and Rebecca Hall as Dr Maya Hansen and of course Stan Lee makes an appearance too in the film as always in most Marvel films.

I would admit that I think Iron Man 2 was that great for a sequel but Iron Man 3 makes up the loss on its disappointment and some good humour here and there after halfway through the film. I still think that Robert Downey Jr did a better role in Sherlock more than Iron Man but its still a film worth checking out if you've been following the Iron Man series or youre a Marvel/Comic book fan in general.

    Four-star-rating.gif

Thanks for reading my review I will have more surprises on my next blogs so keep an eye out for that.

So today is the day that Persona 4 Arena is finally released in the UK after waiting almost a year for it to begin with, pre-ordered mine at GAME a while back and got my free pre-order bonus. I did cosplay as the Persona 4 Protaganist when I went to GAME this mourning, my friend would have joined me because the original plan was me and my friend would pick up the game in the afternoon both in cosplay. But my friend couldn't make it so instead I still went forward with my plan and picked it up early this mourning at GAME. I did cosplay as Professor Layton on day of release bac in October-

I even brought Teddie with me on launch day Didnt expect the Pre-Ordered item to be that big for it, the CD soundtrack was inside the game as well.

Thats right Teddie show the people on Gamespot the spoils-

When I got back home from today, something came through the post it turned out I've won a competition from the Anime magazine MYM and it was a copy of Bioshock Infinite-

I actully wanted to play this game it was just the problem getting the money for it since I've been trying to save up for Conventions money and certain games in the future. I would have asked this for my birthday but don't need to now because I've won a free copy of the game. And yes I will get around to posting my movie review on Iron Man 3 at one point would have done it sooner but I'll try and do it on my next blog if I can.

I would have posted this sooner, but I've been enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend with my friends and got easily sun burnt on the Sunday. Plus went to see Iron Man 3 today with my friend from School and I will post a review on that likely in my next blog. What I really enjoyed about my weekend was the Zombie Walk I did again, I really enjoyed the last two in Newcastle but this time I didn't go as a Zombie, I actully went as a surviour-

I cosplayed as The Governor (The Walking Dead- Season 3 TV) I knew that it wasn't going to be perfect but I've actully managed to pull of it from the Zombie Walk. Went into Newcastle early Saturday mourning because it was also FREE COMIC BOOK DAY at various stores like Travelling Man and Forbidden Planet, I had no problem getting bothered by the public in general blended in quite well. When I met up with my friends they were shocked that my hair was flat and not spiked for a change. There were about at least a good 50 odd people at the Zombie walk, everyone met up at the Centre of Life and then we walked across Central Station, then towards Monument and then finally towards Norumberland Street and Civic Centre.

There were some really good photos from photographers that were there-

Yes there was also a Juliet (Lollipop Chainsaw) and a Miku too ^^

There were actully two photos I really liked and I was really happy that they took them-

    and

Now for some more Zombie photos-

As soon as I got home on the Saturday night I did not want to change at all, I really loved cosplaying as The Governor from Saturday but its always like that with my other cosplays I've done in the past. But did do something funny with my eye patch and Teddie of course you could say that its UNBEARABLE!

Hope you've enjoyed reading this blog

Can't belive its May already next you'll be saying its June but anyways looking for this week and next for the Zombie Walk on Saturday and plus Persona 4 Arena (PS3) next Friday too. While passing the time I've managed to finish another Manga Cross-Over drawing on Kingdom Hearts and How To Train Your Dragon.

This idea came a while back from watching the film again at an Anime Club, I had the idea of a Kingdom Hearts Cross-Over based on the animated film How to Train Your Dragon. It wasn't easy drawing Toothless and Hiccup in an Anime form but do like a challenege when it comes to drawing.
    CHAPTER UNKNOWN: DRAGON TRAINING-
In world where dragons invade the Viking world of Berk a small village where Vikings are fighting dragons and putting an end to it. Hiccup finds a dragon no one has seen in years known as Night Fury, after becoming friends and naming it Toothless, he begins to relaise that dragons aren't that bad as they thought they would be. But quite recently dragons have been acting very strangely and Heartless are now forming as Dragons and stealing hearts from both dragons and vikings.
Sora, Donanld and Goofy encounter Hiccup and Toothless in the middle of the forrest where Hiccup is learning more about dragons in general in order continue his traning and no one finding why he cares much about these dragons. But Sora tries to tell him that he needs to stand up for himself and confront his father who is the head of their village.
I do wonder what Cross-Over I'll work on next?

With the most recent announcements on Nintendo not having a press conference at E3 this year, could this be a smart move? Or a bad move from Nintendo? They did wish to "Utilize our direct communication tools, such as Nintendo Direct which you can either watch on your laptop or on your 3DS to deliver information to the Japanese audience and taking the same approach outside of Japan for the overseas fans across the rest of the world.

    nintendo-logo1.jpg

Nintendo in the past has played a huge impact on everyones childhood in the 80's and 90's with games like Super Mario Brothers 3 (NES) and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64); you can tell straight away Nintendo knew how to please their fans and gamers since 1985 to the present day.

    evolution_nintendo1.png

Almost every person including myself has played at least a Super Mario title on a Nintendo system, and since the NES the evolution of its games have changed over the years. What about its consoles? The NES was the birth of gaming for Nintendo with an 8-bit console, Ricoh PPU and used cartridges for its games. The SNES went to 16-bit and had a good sales competition with SEGA back in the early 90's with their console the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive. And in 1996 the Nintendo 64 was released which was a 64-bit console, SGI Reality co-processor and all of its games still used cartridges but certain games like Resident Evil 2 took two cartridges for its games for the system. Both Nintendo and Sony both sold well on its sales between the late 90's and early 2000 you couldn't really decide what console to get when you were a child and wanted to fit in with the cool kids in your school am I right?

GameCube was released in 2002 which was the shape of the cube, had 4-player sockets but they placed their games now on discs which were really small comparing to discs that were used for DVD's, Playstation/Xbox games and music cds. It might not had sold well as Nintendo think it would did but it still made its fans and gamers happy for its games such as Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4 and anything Mario related. 2006 was where Nintendo really made its money with the Nintendo Wii with a ATI GPU and Improved IBM CPU clocked @ 729 MHz; the controller does feel like a TV remote and attaching a nun-chuck to it as an analog stick. It even brought families together for parties, having friends around or even doing a bit of exercise if you bought the Wii Fit back in 2008 which helped people with fitness. But as of from now the line-up for games on the Wii are slowly dying out and yet Nintendo are now focusing on its games for the Wii U-

    VIDEO_WII_U_361493a.jpg

I still think it looks like an I-pad being swallowed by a Gameboy Advance, but its not selling as much as the Nintendo Wii has done in the past. The Wii U does appeal to the more hard-core gamers then to the family-side of gaming which is either a good thing or a bad thing from Nintendo. With the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 still selling strong on its sales Nintendo have been having a hard time trying to keep up with its sales and its does make you wonder what will Nintendo do next? We know that Sony has announced a released date for the Playstation 4 and Microsoft will be announcing their new console in May but what will the outcome be at E3 in June? Too be honest I think Nintendo might want to think on how to win its fans back, there will still be games at E3 in June for both Wii U and 3DS, which comes to my next point-

    Game-Boy.jpg

They are still the king of handhelds where you can take your games when you are travelling or even battling or playing against your friends. I have been impressed for its games over the years from the Gameboy to the Advance and to the recent handheld which are still selling the Nintendo DS. We've enjoyed games like Professor Layton, The World Ends With You and Pokémon on the handhelds; it took cartridges from all 3 systems which I've just mentioned above. 3DS was released in 2011 it has had its up and down moments on its hardware sales but they've still managed to keep its fans and gamers happy for its line-up of games, streetpass and its applications for the 3DS. This year they have got a good line-up of games including Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter, Animal Crossing and Nintendo have mentioned on one of its direct videos that this year will be the Year of Luigi.

Nintendo did announce a few days ago a sequel to Zelda: Link to the Past for the 3DS, I didn't anyone saw this coming at all but from the looks of its trailer it looks really impressive. If it is the end of Nintendo in the future I don't think it will happen mainly because Nintendo itself has played an impact on everyone's lives but we all know that Miyamoto will have to retire at one point but its games and franchises will still live on in the future and trust its employees and directors to make the right moves for Nintendo.

This month has been an odd month, might not have been the best month or the worst month. It was nice to have another job interview during the first week of April even tough I didn't get the job it was at least another interview for me. However I really didn't care about the job now since my Auntie passes away two weeks ago. My Auntie has always been ill quite easily from a simple cold to a bad lung, even a simple touch on her skin make her badly bruises. She had a lung transplant 12 years ago and her lung has pretty much packed in, she was on borrowed time just after Christmas and I'm still a little depressed but what I heard from my parents she went peacefully. Had the funeral a week ago, service went really well thats all I can.

I'm totally fine now and I'm sure that the number of friends I know have been cheering me up, but anyways what have been my favourite things about this month then-

    GAME OF THE MONTH-

    Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS)

One month later still playing this on my 3DS spent over 25 hours on its hunting quests, I even got a few streetpasses for Monster Hunter too where their Avatar charcter can go on gathering quests for you and pick up items for you, quite clever. Been litem searching and hunting down large monsters but finding this game quite addicitive just like the PSP version for Freedom Unite. I just hope more people I know will pick this up because I wouldn't mind doing quests with 2-4 players at once. Which also comes to my next point is that I've been to a Streetpass meet a few weeks ago ended up playing a lot of Mario Kart 7 but hopefully the next meet for it I'll be able to play Monster Hunter with other players.

    ANIME OF THE MONTH-

    8513739815_1800914312_o.jpg

    Devil Survivor 2 the Animation-

This is based off the Nintendo DS game Devil Survuvor 2 which was only released in Japan and US, the story spans the whole country of Japan. It tells the story of Japanese high school students who received an email from a website foretelling deaths. Mysterious creatures invade the country, and the students enter a pact, enabling them to summon demons.

    TV OF THE MONTH-

    Bottom-Season1.jpg

    Bottom (BBC)

I wouldn't say that it's on TV right now since its an old comedy from the 90's but the series BOTTOM has appeared on Netflix. Which I'm really happy about because the series is funny and half of the episodes really do crack me up and of my favourite episode was GAS- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5p-YQkbe_s Not only that I've been watching the series quite a few times now and has really made me feel better from all the bad stuff I've had over this month.

    MOVIE OF THE MONTH-

    Mama+2013+film+movie+poster+large.jpg

    MAMA

I don't go to the cinema that often since I'm pretty much busy over the week, but however had some time off from my Maths and English course during the Easter Break. I was a little guttered that EVIL DEAD wasn't released sooner because I would have seen that first. But the film MAMA was released back in Feb and wanted to see this film since I'm a fan of horror films, you can check out my review- Movie Review- Mama

I just hope that next month things will hopefully turn around and of course I do have a few surprises up my sleeves including-

    • Zombie Walk- May 4th
    • Persona 4 Arena (PS3) - May 10th
    • The Last of Us Access Event at GAME - May 15th

Not only that found out that my English and Maths Exams are on the 21st and 23rd of May, so I'll have to try and study a little but I should be fine when it comes to the exams. Thats all for now hope you've enjoyed reading my blog

Hope you've enjoyed my last blog which I've done for a Chalk Talk blog if you havn't seen it you can find it here- Anybody Got No Time To Catch em All

    Wreck-It-Ralph-Logo.png

Done a review on Wreck-it Ralph (Android/Iphone) so feel free to check it out- http://uk.gamespot.com/wreck-it-ralph/user-reviews/810529/platform/android/

    Ni-no-Kuni-3.jpg

Finally had some more time to play more Ni No Kuni (PS3) but it looks like my adventure has come towards as I've encountered the final boss which is tough but a few more levels should it, I'm at least around level 48 on my charcters. I have been doing bounty quests to gain money for items and coffee for MP. Been watching more BOTTTOM on Netflix which has seriously made me feel a lot better then I was last week, if you've not heard of BOTTOM. Its a 90's British Comedy have a look at this clip on my favourite episode- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5p-YQkbe_s

Done some more doodle drawings on my Anime/Manga self-

I'm still halfway through working on my Kingdom Hearts Cross-Over drawing on How to Train your Dragon which will be finished soon when I get the chance. I found out that my Maths and English exams are in May so I've some time to relax and try and get some studies done before then.

Last up, pre-ordered it at GAME last Friday mourning and this time I should get it unless it gets delayed again-

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTZnezYIm5Ew544bZiia0B

Pre-ordered Persona 4 Arena (PS3) as a fan of the series quite hyped about it and a few people I know are getting to so I'm likely to be playing online during its UK release. Not only that if you can remeber back in October I cosplayed as Professor Layton on day of release and picked up the game at GAME. I may be doing the same with Persona 4 Arena on May 10th as the Persona 4 Protaganist but quite tempted to do it.

Its one of those that you've likely lived through and enjoyed the series for what it is over the past 15 years. Started off on the Gameboy and then crawled its way to other Nintendo consoles from the late 90's up til the present day.

    pokemon_blue_version.jpg

"Was one of these Pokémon made your childhood awesome?"

I've never played them when I was younger due to the fact that I couldn't really afford a Gameboy in the 90's, not only that I never really liked the animation for the TV series which was always on every Saturday mornings on SMTV thats if anyone else remembers that show with Ant and Dec and the series pretty much went huge straight after that. Most of my friends I know have played at least one of the Pokémon games either on the Gameboy or the DS, the series are like a JRPG game where you can use monsters to attack other monsters in gym battles or on field battles you can capture a Pokémon and then train it.

I've just recently started playing a Pokémon for the very first time, even though I'm not a huge fan of the games or series but a few of my friends have been begging me over the years to actually play one of the games. Started playing Pokémon Blue a month and after half an hour playing and having a Charmander as a starter Pokémon, I can see why every loved playing these games when they were younger and why the series is that huge for Nintendo gamers and fans.

    c14b53783681a748b86b5c17e4aa8682.jpg

"Did you have the time to play all of these games over the years?"

I know that the original series had at least 150 Pokémon on Red, Yellow and Blue and after that there have been more than 200 Pokémon in the games in general which is an awful lot to catch and I've seen hard-core fans trying to capture all and get everything all at once which must have been a huge challenge for them. The fun part about the series is where nearly all of the games you can battle over players over Wi-Fi if you have a DS if they have a copy of the game and trade stuff and it was also the same with the games on the Gameboy but with a cable which looked clever but a lot has changed since 1998. There have been remakes for the DS which were both Heart Gold and Soul Sliver which were both remakes of Gold and Silver on the Gameboy Colour, when Black and White were released they even had a sequel which were released not too long ago and this was the first time the series had an actual sequel for a game.

The series even had spin-off titles like Pokémon Snap, Stadium, Mystery Dungeon and even a Pinball game; and yet they have also been successful games when it came to sales. As I mentioned before I never liked the animation for the TV series but I have met the voice actress- Veronica Taylor at SUNNYCON last year she did the voicing for ASH in the series, everyone at the convention were really happy to meet her in person. I did feel sorry for her a little bit due to the fact that she said the same quotes over and over again "Pikachu I choose you" she was a nice person to speak outside of the show itself.

    pokemon_cards_by_theemerald-d5iyn4l.jpg

Even the Trading Cards played a huge impact during the years when it was that popular, £2.50 for a pack of cards and then the next day you take them to your school to trade or swap or worse end up in a big fight if you had a shiny card. Yes they did ban these cards in school during 2000 which I think I can remember from my classmates during school break. I didn't think anyone cared about playing the card game itself it was always trying to get the cool cards for your collection.

    PokemonX-PokemonY-Starters.jpg

"What will the future hold next?"

With Pokémon X and Y being released this year for the 3DS, it makes me wonder what Nintendo will think of next. After seeing images of the newest Pokémon on Facebook I did think that the series is starting to run out of ideas when it games to games and does make you think are these games getting repetitive? Not only that I heard that a new Pokémon called "Mewthree" has already played an impact due to Mewtwo which was one of the original Pokémon in the series but a MewThree? C'mon Nintendo you do know stuff like 4 Chan are just going to throw awful puns towards it on the internet. But if my friends are happy and fans are happy with Pokémon X and Y you can tell that the series won't be going away for quite a long time yet, but I'll surprised if it reaches 20 years by 2018 if we get to live that long.

Feeling a lot better than was over the past few days, my Aunties funeral was last Tuesday the service went really well. I'm just glad that it's over and done with because no one really like funerals, felt really depressed over last week but my friends made me feel better and of course lots and lots of coffee and Relentless.

    coffee2.jpg

    "Coffee always heals the pain"

Done another doodle drawing but this time based on my Anime/Manga self but with a mix of-

    • Kingdom Hearts
    • Persona 3/4
    • Sword Art Online
    • And cosplays I've done in the past- Layton, Prinny and Persona 3 Protaganist

There was another Nintendo 3DS Direct conferance today for a good half an hour, quite a few good surprises including a sequel to Link to the Past, Yoshi 3 and of course a release date for the next Professor Layton game-

    235446-layhd.jpg

"This reminds me of a puzzle"- Professor Layton

Shame it's not Layton VS Phoenix Wright, but however next Layton game will be the last one in the series Azran Legacies has been confirmed sometime around Fall 2013 for UK/Europe while the US has to wait til 2014 for it. But on the bright side is that I might cosplay as Professor Layton again on day of release like I did with Miracle Mask (3DS) at GAME back in October.

Recently picked up the latest volume of Blue Exorcist over the weekend while I was in Newcastle with my friends and than later on in afternoon went to a 3DS meet-up and got a ton of streetpasses and played some Mario Kart 7 on multiplayer. Back to my Manga review-

    Blue Exorcist Volume 9-

    English Release- April 2nd 2013

    Pages- 192 pages

Just after where Volume 8 had left off if you've been following the series, so there might be spoilers for those who are far behind with the series. All of Rin's friends have done their best to hold off the deadly Impure King so Rin can confront it. Now it's entirely up to Rin to finish off the gigantic demon. Although Rin has finally drawn the korma word and found his confidence, that alone may not be enough to defeat the Impure King! And Yukio's battle with the possed Saburota Todo may have awakened something dark deep within him.

    5.jpg

Volume 9 does have its Bonus 4 page panels and an illusrated guide to demons. There's even 3 pages based on the Live Act of Blue Exorcist which explains on what they doing during their rehearsals before before a performance, in Japan there were a few Live Acts based on the Blue Exorcist series. Volume 10 won't be released til July so fans like myself will have to wait by then.

    Three-star-rating.gif

There might just be countless battles and cliff-hangers, Volume 9 still does a great job keeping its series fresh and makes its fans happy.

Hope you've enjoyed reading my review

Feeling a little bit better from last Sunday, found out that my Aunties Funeral is on Tuesday hopefully by then I'll be feeling much better. Anyways been doing some more cross-over drawings based on Kingdom Hearts series-

This idea cross-over came when Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru S Desu yo? came to end which only had 10 episodes in the series. And I really do love Black Rabbit, I wanted to try doing it in a chibi style drawing like at the ending theme in the Anime.

CHAPTER UNKNOWN- The Problem Children Have Arrived at Little Garden, Haven't They?

Three children, Sakamaki, Asuka, and Kasukabe, live dull li...ves because they posses unmatched psychic powers. One day, they receive an envelope that transports them to Little Garden, a place of supernatural powers called Gifts. There, the residents use Gifts to play high-stakes games known as Gift Games in order to earn wealth and prestige for their communities. Sora helps a strange girl called Black Rabbit and everyone else in this world; As they learn more about Little Garden, they decide to overthrow the tyrannical Demon Lords in control.

I'm working on another cross-over which I'm halfway drawing, did some work on it last Wednesday night based on the film How To Train Your Dragon-

Toothless was quite tricky to draw which I would admit but the cross-over will be an interesting one when its finished. Already have an idea on a fan-ficition plot for it

I've been meaning to see more films at the Cinema most of the time, but half the time I'm busy doing other stuff and only go to the Cinema if anything big is coming to Cinemas like The Hobbit or Wreck-It or even The Evil Dead which I'm quite hyped about since I loved the original. Tuesday is always half price at the Empire Cinemas, went to see Dark Skies which I was quite curious about since its a supernatural thriller. Thought I'd do a quick review on it-

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTtHq_Rs2ejaDldPWOL0w-

    Dark Skies

    US Release- 22nd February 2013

    UK Release- 5th April 2013

    Mins- 97 Minutes

For a supernatural thriller you would suspect some horror being added in, from the producers that gave were Insidious and Sinister; Dark Skies doesn't live up to its horror and creepiness like its last two films. The main plot is based on a young family living in the suburbs. Daniel (Josh Hamilton) and Lacey Barret (Keri Russell) and their two young sons witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family. Unable to understand what is happening to them their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels and friends turn against them. When it becomes clear they are being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to uncover the truth and protect what belongs to them.

It does have a few good moments but they don't last very long but you do feel like that they've borrowed half of these ideas from other horror and thriller films like a flock of birds invading one house or someone taking control of a persons body we've seen most of this stuff done before. I would admit that there were at least two parts that made me jump and the disturbing moments that you'll notice will remind you of the Slenderman but 3 versions of him. It did feel a little dragged later on to its story but it does leave a little cliff-hanger towards the end and some messed up moments which they've saved for the last. I would admit that its not as great as Insidious was when it first came out back in 2011, but if your one of those people thats into these kinds of films you might be better of waiting for the DVD rental release or at least go to the movies on discounted day.

Its actully been 7 years I've been using Gamespot since April 9th 2006-

    tumblr_lwgekhZCVn1r31rrxo1_500.gif

"So you've got it memorized?"- Axel

Last year I became a Gamespot Ranger and back in February became a Gamespot Justicar member And of course my past blog over last year and of course this year too. From past Anime events and conventions I've been too and of course the number of Cosplays I've pulled of from-

    • Professor Layton
    • Persona 3 and 4 Protaganist
    • Fujimoto (Ponyo)
    • Vincent Valentine
    • Prinny (Disgaea)

I still post reviews now and then plus the blogs for Chalk Talk as well which don't happen that often but are always a challenge to create and post on here. Posted my 1000th blog back in February too and a change of new banner too above you ^ What over surprises do I have in stock for the future? Who know but I will try and surprise everyone here on Gamespot and of course my friends too

But I've got some sad news which I've saved for last, for starters I didn't get the job for Apprenice- Office Support my interview went well but the person they've got was a little higher up then me. But they did say my interview went really well so there is no need to practice interviews in the future which are becoming less scary. But however I really didn't care about the job now since last Sunday my Auntie passes away My Auntie has always been ill quite easily from a simple cold to a bad lung, even a simple touch on her skin make her badly bruises. She had a lung transplant 12 years ago and her lung has pretty much packed in, she was on borrowed time just after Christmas and I'm still a little depressed but what I heard from my parents she went peacefully.

I'm totally fine now and I'm sure that the number of friends I know will cheer me up

This is what I had today Gotta love onigrils

Anyways had another job interview recently for an Apprentice Job for Office Support at Newcastle College, my interview went well for a good 30-40 minutes and they were asking me questions on what would I do in a situation if clients were want to apply to Newcastle College and other stuff relating to that job. Hopefully I'll get a call back by Tuesday plus I wouldn't mind some feedback from that interview, its another interview for me and they are becoming less scary now since I've been to quite a few now and then.

I've been clocking more then 20 houra on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on my 3DS, been working on the missions on story first and then going through the missions on Co-Op/HR missions, I really do like the StreetPass thing for it where you can streetpass other players and you can see their avatar/charcter appearing and they'll go on quests for you and earn you items and money The hardest part is that I've been having trouble trying to put this game down, now I feel like playing some God Eater (PSP)

Quite a few people I know are still talking about me and my Prinny cosplay I did for SUNNYCON two weeks ago and my Facebook page is still flooding with photos from that weekend. This is insane dood but awesome at the same time, can't think of anything else to talk about but likely in my next blog I'll be talking about the new Anime thats been lined up for Spring.

Been wanting to this film a while back and finally got around to seeing because I think it was on its last week in the Box Office in the UK plus its half price on Tuesday at Empire Cinemas, thought I'd do a movie review on it-

    Mama+2013+film+movie+poster+large.jpg

    Mama

    US Release- January 18th 2013

    UK Release- February 22nd 2013

    Mins- 100 minutes

I did see trailers for this a while back I do like the twister mind when it comes to horror and thriller films. That is actually a Spanish-Canadian horror film co-written by Andres Muschietti I was quite impressed with the visuals and odd moments that actually did make me jump at least once or twice.

The story is based of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. They've come home, but they're not alone. Both Victoria (Megan Charpentier) and Lilly (Isabelle Nelisse) are protected by an imaginary guardian known as Mama after their father Jeffrey, kills his business partners and estranged wife before taking his children away from home. Five years later his brother Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) sends a small group to find the girls, when they were found they were animal-liked monsters and then taken into care by both a Lucas and Annabel (Jessica Chastain) after being put in a welfare clinic under the psychiatric care of Dr. Gerald Dreyfuss (Daniel Kash). And straight after that this is where things start to get creepy and messed on its tense making you wonder where Mama actually came from.

My favourite moment came with the dream part where Annabel has a dream on Mama's early past and it really does remind me of a First-Person shooter but without the guns and running away from a mental hospital. Another part that I found creepy was when youre in a dark and the camera is the only thing that you can see in the dark if you keep using the flash; this does remind me of the Fatal Frame series if you've heard of it. I do admit that this is a good horror/thriller with a few good mixes and a bit of Tim Burton's dark art and gothic clothing when it comes to the ghost of Mama, it might have mixed re-actions to its story plot but its still worth watching.

Its been over 7 days since I went to SUNNYCON, I really do miss everyone who was there and of course I enjoy going to the town meet-ups every week to see my friends. If you've missed my last blog you can view it here- My SUNNYCON BLOG- Prinny Adventure Dood!

Apart from that what have been my favourite things about this month you may ask-

    GAME OF THE MONTH-

    Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS)

Already spent over 5 hours playing this on my 3DS just week, I even got a few streetpasses for Monster Hunter too where their Avatar charcter can go on gathering quests for you and pick up items for you, quite clever. Been litem searching and hunting down large monsters but finding this game quite addicitive just like the PSP version for Freedom Unite. I just hope more people I know will pick this up because I wouldn't mind doing quests with 2-4 players at once.

    ANIME OF THE MONTH-

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTkSxPY8Z_OKloIHiBgKKI

Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara kuru sou desu yo

Watched an Anime series called Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara kuru sou desu yo which was recommended from one of friends, watched the first episode a while back and I totally loved. Main plot is where Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou, and You Kasugabe have tremendous psychic powers and are bored with the regular world. An envelope arrives for each person, and when each opens their envelope, they are stunned to see the scenery around them change to a world they had never encountered before. They've been summoned by the Black Rabbit to help the community "No Name" to overthrow the Devil King. The series ended a few weeks ago quite sad because I really do find the ending theme cute and charming for an Anime, I hope they'll be a Season 2 on the way.

    TV Show of the Month-

    Season 3- The Walking Dead

I'm really sad that the series is coming to end I've been looking forward to the next episode every week when it comes online by Monday nights. I heard that the final episode will be gripping where they finally leave the prision and the Governor just wants them all dead.

Can't seem to think of anything else that was awesome about March apart from the things I've just mentioned above along with SUNNYCON. I'm still reading Bakuman Volume 18 and havn't seen any movies yet, but tell what have been your favourite moments about March

After spending a full weekend filled with Anime and randomness I've had an awesome time at SUNNYCON this year ^^ Went to it last year and enjoyed the guests they had lined up, this year was even better because I knew a lot of people I knew from last year and of course at Nemacon and the weekly meet-ups I go to every Saturday. I've shared a hotel with 3 friends at the Travelodge in Sunderland and had to sign the Vic Mignogna Fan Art book for Emiline which had been passed around and then been given to him. Which where various artists and anime fans doing some fan art based on what voices he's in Animes and games like FullMetal Alchemist and Persona 3. I did a drawing of Junpei (Persona 3) months ago but when I saw the art book on the Friday night I was really impressed how much effort and time everyone had put into the book

Just after 9 am on a Saturday mourning it was already packed and after 10 am it was even bigger with more fans and cosplayers.

Bumped into a Sonic when I first came through the doors and plus saw most of my friends while I was there throughout the day I actually had a lot of attention and it turns out that I was the only Disgaea cosplayer throughout the whole weekend as a Prinny.

While Prinny walked around the dealers room and getting swamped by Street passing bumped into a Phoenix Wright cosplayer and shouting "OBJECTION!"

"Coming soon to the PS Vita- Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero at SUNNYCON?"

I met Sonny Strait who does voices for characters in Animes like Dragonball Z, FullMetal Alchemist, Black Butler and One Piece. Had my copy of FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood (PSP) which got signed, I had it last year with me when Chris Sabet signed it, you could say I'm building a FullMetal Alchemist signature collection on my PSP cover

There were two Deadpool cosplayers through the weekend as well, but this Deadpool is always at every single convention-

I got in the line early for this one and glad that I did because the line got even bigger after the first 30 mins, met Vic Mignogna-

He was quite surprised that I wanted my copy of Persona 3 Portable (PSP) signed because he did the voiceing for Junpei in Persona 3. I'll have to ask my friends if anyone had anything signed by him which is Persona 3 related. After 3pm I was in the cosplay contest which was to win £2000 which was the reason why I cosplayed as a Prinny in the first place plus had my scrapbook as well on how I made it. I didn't win the contest but had a lot of fun and gave me a few ideas in the future on what cosplay to do next, here are a few photos I found on Facebook but you could say that this could be a little pop quiz, guess that charcter-

"Coming on stage acting like a Prinny"

"This is the one that actully one the cosplay contest, she did a great job as the Twilight Pricess Wolf"

After the end of Saturday, the party moved to Sunderland for the Miku concert and of course some drinking with my friends-

Before the Miku concert Cristina Vee was on stage and she was singing some K-ON music all in Japanese she does the voices for Mio, Noel from BlazBlue and Alisa in Tekken Blood Vengeance. You could say that she pretty much saved the night on her awesome singing and K-ON music.

I did find the Miku concert very disapointing and plus everyone else who went did agree as well, because we all thought it was going to be a hologram but instead it was just a projector screen of her dancing the same moves. But the drinks soon after made everyone feel better. Plus helped my friend find her phone after having too many drinks and she couldn't find it anywhere, but I found it

    Ready for Day 2-

Prinny was dressed and ready to go and an early to wake up, don't worry I didn't actully drinked on the mourning this was more of a joke This is the only Prinny that actully drinks

Prinny tried to eat the next mascot for the next Anime convention which I may go to next in August called OneCon. I was quite hungry and I couldn't be bothered buying any food, a lot of people had Free Hugs signs with them. So I had the idea of making a sign saying- "FEED THE PRINNY DOOD, SO HUNGRY" it turned out to be a success people gave me free sweets and a cereal bar this was quite funny and did eat and acted like a Penguin when eating any sweets.

I helped my friend Shadow Naoto track down Persona 4 cosplayers and they were wanting a Group photo, the world needs more Persona fans

I regret not taking my copy of Blazblue with me, but instead had my VIP pass signed by Cristina Vee and she thought my Prinny cosplay was quite cute

Some of the Skits were really good, saw Zidane and Squall trying to do the Flammenco Sword Fight from Final Fantasy IX

There was a Final Fantasy Panel on the Balcony Area including a Final Fantasy came second on the quiz, almost had the right answers for most of them and fans asking questions about the series too, but I think everyone went silent as soon as I mentioned the question "7 years later, are you still waiting for Final Fantasy Versus XIII" Thats how long I've waited for the game but did hear some good reactions and answers from everyone who was there.

Now for some funny Prinny moments dood-

This last image will shock you-

At the end of Sunday winners got their prizes, a big long conga line going all the way around the centre and lots of dancing from Gangnam Style to Halem Shake. During last Sunday and Saturday before the Cosplay Conest I randomly dacnced to Gangnam Style and Reach for the Stars on the Balcony floor, everyone looked like ants at the bottom-

I hope there was a video of it during that weekend it would have been funny and of course Prinny would have become an even bigger hero for doing it dood Got my cosplay scrapbook back because I wanted to show my friends and family on how I made it. Even a few people I know and even Ginny McQueen loved my Prinny cosplay and they knew about my blogs on Gamespot I was so happy to hear this There was even more drinking on the Sunday night but Prinny had a little too much drink and pretty much K.O by the end of the night.

Monday was the journey back into Newcastle and of course heading back home, which leads to what stuff I picked up and got at SUNNYCON over the weekend-

Cristina Vee signed my VIP Pass and its on my random wall of stuff

Had Sonny sign my copy of FullMetal Alchemist and of course Vic signed both my copys of FMA and Persona 3 Portable.

This was some of the free VIP stuff I got on the Saturday which was a T-Shirt which is in the wash and a Sunnycon bag

And this is a varity of stuff I picked up for free and stuff I bought at Sunnycon and most of it was in my Prinny box-

    and

I hope you've enjoyed reading my SUNNYCON Blog, can't wait for next year what adventures ahead

I've got everything sorted and ready for the weekend for SUNNYCON and there will be a blog on it and this is my complete cosplay on Prinny (Disagea)-
