  Ratchet and Clank Awards 01: Best Soundtrack

  Ratchet and Clank has always had a great soundtrack, but my favorite one has to be Going Commando's. It is just an amazing score that completely blows me away every time I hear it. It also has some of the funniest dialogue and cutscenes in a game I have ever seen.

  Ratchet and Clank Awards

  It has come time for me to do something I have never done before. No, not saw myself in half, you silly fools. I'm talking about the Ratchet and Clank Awards. This will be a ten part super blog detailing the best and worst parts of my favorite series of all time.

  Reasons Why E3 09 Was Awesome

  This year's E3 was one of the greatest in history. It had something for absolutely everybody. I myself did not actually attend the convention, but I did watch the three press conferences. I was especially interested in Sony's press conference, as I recently bought a PlayStation 3 and I couldn't wait to see what kind of games would be coming out in the near future. Uncharted 2 looks like it will address many of the problems people had with the original, but I wonder if there will be any aliasing, because that has become commonplace in Naughty Dog games. I also think that it's interesting for Sony to be making ModNation Racers. It really does seem like the first real evolution of the kart racing genre. I also look forward to Sony's motion controller and how they will integrate it into games. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time will probably be the first evolution of the series, although I wonder if Insomniac will continue to make Ratchet & Clank games in the future, as this series has been one of the best in Sony history IMO. Meanwhile, the Nintendo conference was pretty good, but the game I am most looking forward to is Super Mario Galaxy 2. If this game manages to better the original (note to Nintendo: please allow us to keep our extra lives after we turn off the console. That was very annoying in the original.) I think that we may have another contender for greatest game of all time. Microsoft's conference didn't interest me that much, as I have yet to purchase an Xbox 360, though I have to admit that Project Natal looks pretty amazing. Can't wait to see how the next few years turn out.
