7Jul 07
On 8th July (Sunday) I'm going on a little vacation to the UK for 2 weeks, so I won't be able to update my blog. Neither can I write any reviews, or make contributions. What's even more, I won't be able to check my artist polls, too.
Indeed I will miss TV.com, I will probably leave out lots of fun; however I'm also looking forward to visit Plymouth, I will probably find interesting things there as well.
As soon as I get back, I will check on my profile and continue with the work, but who knows, I might even be able to find a PC there and log on.
Anyway, have a great time, everybody!

I've created polls for these stars:
You can choose from five of their hit singles and vote for your favorite one. If you have some spare time and you are interested in these artists, could you please participate in any of the polls you like.
If you'd like a similar poll about any other artist you like, plese tell me about it.
Thank you very much!
P.S. The links lead you to the poll, but you can also check out their TV.com forums to find it.

Total Request Live (commonly known as TRL) is the flagship television series on MTV that features popular music videos. TRL is MTV's prime outlet for music videos as the network continues to concentrate on reality-based programming. In addition to music videos, TRL features daily guests. The show is a popular promotion tool used by musicians, actors, and other celebrities to promote their newest works to the show's target teen demographic.
TRL plays the top ten most requested videos of the day, as requested by viewers who vote online for their favorite video. The countdown starts with the tenth most requested video and ends with the most requested. The show generally airs Monday through Thursday for one hour, though the scheduling and length of the show have fluctuated over the years. Despite the word "Live" in the title of the show, many episodes are actually pre-recorded.
This summer, the show will be relaunched and renamed, possibly to YouRL, with a heavily web-based, interactive format including home viewers able to communicate live by the use of SightSpeed on their home computers.. "While the show is still in development, YouRL is the leading title," an article in Broadcasting & Cable confirmed.

4Jun 07The cat (or domestic cat, house cat) is a small carnivorous mammal that is often valued by humans for its companionship and its ability to hunt vermin. It has been associated with humans for at least 9,500 years. A skilled predator, the cat is known to hunt over 1,000 species for food. The cat is intelligent and can be trained to obey simple commands. Individual cats have also been known to learn to manipulate simple mechanisms. Cats use a variety of vocalizations and types of body language for communication, including mewing ("meow" or "miaow"), purring, hissing, growling, squeaking, chirping, clicking, and grunting.
