  Infamous Second Son Thoughts

  *MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ALL INFAMOUS GAMES*
  
  I don't know how i feel about the PS4. I'm saying this because the only thing that's gonna be different for what I see is advanced graphics. I honestly can't see graphics being any better. I really don't see it being much of a difference. And the controller. Not a big deal in my eyes. But one of the most exciting things I saw was the trailer for infamous second son. At first I was disappointed because this is the end of Cole McGrath. Actually i still am. I still thing it will be oustanding like the rest of the infamous games. Now I believe Sucker Punch did the right thing. The two endings to Infamous 2 were the good ending was that Cole, John, Kuo, and Nix all die and the evil ending where Zeke, joh, and nix die and Cole becomes the Beast. Those two endings where so different from each other I don't blame Sucker Punch for making a new main character. But i would of went two different routes. First one would be a prequel. Main character Kessler. So many unanswered questions about Kessler. How did he get powers? How did the Beast become his enemy? How did John beome the Beast? This is a needed game we will never see I'm afraid. Second route will be a little shocking. Anyone who played infamous 2 remember that Cole said he had a brother. he is only mentioned once in the entire game. When i heard of second son, i remembered him. I know its weird but why would they mention a brother? Only once too?
  
  Now this new character. I like the design. Alot actually. The chains, clothes. all awesome. except his face. His face is actually really bad. hopefully its only in its beta phase still. I know they had to try something new and get rid of lightning but im kinda upset. when i think of infamous i think of lightning superpowers. But besides that im looking forward to this game.

  The Death of 3-D platformers

  Platformers are the granddaddy of video game genres next to acrade games. Most 2-D games are platformers and when playstation and n64 came out. So many good 3-D platformers during the first 3-D gen. Mario 64, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Conker, and others. Why am i talking about this? because recently i bought Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank. These games are fantastic and these were made soley for the ps2. Why is it that only Nintendo makes platformers?
  
  Rare was one of the best companies in the 90s. they made Banjo, DK, and conker. They were bought by Microsoft and there died ther 3-D platformers.
  
  Naughty Dog made Crash and Jak and Daxter. Insomaic Games made Spyro and Ratchet and Clank. Both of these companies turned to shooters when the ps3 came out. Uncharted though is different and is one of the best shooter series there has ever been. I have never played Resistance. One game needs to ome out. Banjo-Threeie. if it does i think the 3d platformers will survive. Only Mario for platformers is not a good enough choice.
