  Anniversary Time!

  well it's officially been 1 year since my very first post on gamespot, and since I started using it regularly.
  
  In this year I've contributed over 3,000 posts and not much else.
  
  Happy one year to me!

  Disappointed in 2008

  So far 2008 has been pretty depressing game-wise, at least since the summer started.
  In the beginning of the year, we got MLB 08, GTA IV, and some more, but since then.. not much. I haven't even bought a game since GTA IV.
  
  My next game to buy was Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, but after reading gamespots hands on it doesn't sound like I had hoped.
  I'm still going to go buy it when it comes out, but I'm hoping it won't be another disappointment.
  
  Next up, what I have on my list is Rock Band 2. Now, yes it looks great, but no Iron Maiden? WTF Harmonix?
  
  I had been planning, and really looking forward too Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, but after playing the demo I am just not impressed at all to put $60 on it. I'll probably slap down a cold hard $5 for a rental, but it seemed rather boring to me.
  
  All this having been said, how are you all feeling about 2008?

  Return of the King

  Totally just hyped this blog up more than necessary.
  
  But yes, I have returned from my long absence.
  
  If you have missed me and recall my last blog from about 2 weeks ago, I was moving in a few days with no place to live.
  Well, for the past 2 weeks I've been living in a public dorm at the school where I'm going.
  But, I have returned to the land of home for our labor day weekend.
  Moving into a new house on monday, and back to school tuesday.
  
  I started school last monday, classes are easy and going pretty good.
  It's nice having switched from public school where I would go until 2:30, now my first class starts at 7 and my last class ends at 11:15, i get a 2 hour break, and then I worked for the rest of the day.
  Not too bad if you ask me.
  
  But I have not had internet the past 2 weeks, nor video games, and only 3 channels.
  So let's ask a few questions:
  
  1. Anything awesome happen in the 360/PS3 world that I should be aware of?
  2. New games?
  3. To those in America, what do you think about the VP selections?
  
  I desperately need to get caught up on my sleep, so i'll leave it at the three for now.
  I will return gamespot!
