Broken glass everywhere, in all directions...
No place to step, but to step on the broken glass,
letting the blood fall... letting pain seep through my
skin.. No one there to help me... just leaving
me there... Just like being left in the darkness...
falling... falling faster and faster.. no one there
to catch me... no one there to hold me.. just falling..
like an angel with her wings torn...

As many of you might have already noticed...
As many of you might have already noticed, I became a moderator not too long. And to be honest,
this job isn't easy.
I'm a bit scared that I'll mess up, and I don't want to do that. It would be a bad thing to do if I messed up, but I've heard of other mods experiences and if I ever had one of theirs, I don't think I'd show up on GS for a while.
I've been a bit busy and my new GC still works (yay!
). I'm still working on my book and I finally finished editing XVI (what I was working on before, so now I can finish editing). Once I'm done editing Part II, I'll move on to Part III and finish that up. I don't think it will be too since I'll still have to work on Part IV (which I still need a name for). I also found out my grandmother is almost done with the scrapbook she's been working on for me for a while, and I can't wait to see it finished. I've seen some of the articles that she's used in it. The articles deals with WWII, especially Mussolini and his mistress's hanging. There's also an article over the Hiroshima bombing. Since my grandfather witnessed Mussolini's hanging, she has articles and such, along with an article of a man that looks like my grandfather, but he told her that he was not there, so she doesn't know who that is.
Gaming wise, I got farther in Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. I had to restart because I don't know remember what I had to do or where I was even in the game. In FFX, I finally defeated Seymour's third form (if I hadn't posted that in a blog already), but I'm in Gagazet Mountain temple thing and I'm not quite sure what to do.
As always, I'm lost in the game. I'll be getting back to it soon though, after I defeat ED.On top of that, I'm reading tuesdays with Morrie. The book isn't too bad. It's sad though. About an old professor who is about to have his last session because of a terminal disease and a student that he had years ago finally gets in contact with him, and never knew about the terminal disease until he heard about it on TV. I read the first 40 pages and I kinda like it. I'll have to keep reading before deciding.
I also opened up my The Complete Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm book and read a tale called "The Juniper Tree". o__o It's really bizarre. A stepmother hates her stepson, kills him by slamming the chest shut, cutting off his head. Then she cooks him stew and feeds him to his father, and his sister collects the bones and places them underneath the juniper tree. A bird is born and he sings this song:
"'My mother, she killed me
My father, he ate me.
My sister, Marlene, she made sure to see
my bones were all gathered together,
bound nicely in silk, as neat as can be,
and laid beneath the juniper tree.
Tweet, tweet! What a lovely bird I am!'"He gets people to give him a golden chain, a red shoe, and a mill stone. He gives his father the golden chain, his sister the red shoes, and the millstone, he drops on his mother,
***SPOILER***

Now I have two GameCubes.
So, I went shopping for stuff today. While going shopping, I got a new GameCube. I needed a new one since mine doesn't want to work anymore. The internal battery doesn't work and I wasn't too sure where I would have to get the parts, since Nintendo had nothing on it. So, I got a new one and now I have two. One old and one new. My new one comes with a digital av output and an analog av output. My other one only came with the analog. It doesn't have a broken open button thing like my old one (my nephew managed to damage that one). I have a new controller that also isn't broken yet xD (dog chewed the analog stick off of it so I've been using duct tape to tape as a button. As they say, duct tape fixes everything. The other controller, my nephew tried to pull the wires out and now, someitmes, o_O the wires will show). This time I'm keeping the box so when I move, I can put everything in there. The old cords that came with my old GameCube, I'll keep for now in case anyone needs them. Right now, I have a rubber band holding them together, since I have nothing else. xD
As I was working on removing my GBA/GBC adapter from my old GameCube my niece wanted to look at the box, so I told her that she could, just as long as she didn't try to destroy it. She looked at it and I finished putting the GBA/GBC adapter on my new one, but before I did that, I cleaned it. o_O It had yellow stuff. I don't now how yellow stuff got there, but it did. Now it's clean and everything is good now. When I was finished, I looked up and saw my niece was still there. >__> I forgot she was even there since she was busy looking at the box, which kept her busy. o.O She has never been that quiet, nor looked like she was busy. Ever. This was a first, but hey. She didn't destroy the box.
Maybe she's going to be another female gamer in the future. >_> I'll make sure of it if I have to. I'll make sure my sister doesn't try to tell her gaming is bad (been studies how surgeons who play videogames are better at surgery than nongamers).I also found my one project that I did on the 1920s. I'll be taking pictures of it later. Right now, it's in my close with other stuff.
Oh. Btw, my niece just came in here and had a blue bag, and told me she was pretending she had gaming stuff. >__> She's another gamer. YAY!

You're acting like a little girl who is excited about her first day...
So, today I got my modem today. It works just fine.
I thought it wasn't going to work, only to find out that my dad didn't activate the modem. So I'm trying to connect, it's not connecting, xD I call Verizon and they say I cannot talk to them because the account is only under my dad's name. =.= So, my mom calls my dad and I go play with the thing for a little bit, seeing that I need to do some information thing that windows needed. Afterwards, I press connect and it connects. I get excited, only to find out at the same time I was working on the thing that windows wanted, my dad was activating the USB modem. >__>It matters not though.
I have internet on my laptop now. It works much better than the aircard and I don't have to worry about my sister telling me to get off the computer or her taking her laptop. My laptop works great and I registered it today. I also activated a few things and downloaded a few more things that I needed. The USB Modem is small. o_o I opened the package, only to find this little thing. The image on the website made it look like it would be bigger. It flashes too. xD Very blinding. But that is okay.
Just as long as it works.Internet is doing great so far! No problems! Lots faster now, and I'm extremely happy. xD My mom was watching me when the internet connected on my laptop and she said this to me:
Mom: O__o You're acting like a little girl who is excited about her first day of kindergarten.
