Broken glass everywhere, in all directions...
No place to step, but to step on the broken glass,
letting the blood fall... letting pain seep through my
skin.. No one there to help me... just leaving
me there... Just like being left in the darkness...
falling... falling faster and faster.. no one there
to catch me... no one there to hold me.. just falling..
like an angel with her wings torn...

And Now We Just Wait for 2010!
So, Christmas is over. What did I get? >_> Don't laugh. I actually got some girly things (yes, I asked for them, too...)
Since I wasn't sure what I wanted game-wise, I told my mom to just give me money. Along with the money, I got:- over-the-knee boots (without heels! They look like pirate boots! I love them so much xD)
- hair ties (...>_> I have long hair. My sister STOLE all of my hair ties and I have one left...)
- a red micro-fleece blanket (it's so warm, soft, and light! I love the thing to death!)
- Valkyrie
From my sisters, I got:- jeans (I needed more jeans, so my sister found me a pair. >__> It took four hours to find them, apparently. My sister's boyfriend said to me after unwrapping them: "Those better fit.
I spent four hours looking for them!") - Pan's Labyrinth
- Hat
- Gloves
- Scarf
I usually don't wear hats. I always think I look ridiculous in them, but I'm sick and tired of my ears freezing. >_> Even though I didn't need them on Christmas (...it rained), I still will need them since it is snowing NOW.
Hmm, what else? Oh! I got a $15 gift card to Best Buy from my aunt. From my grandmother, I got $25 and another $25 for my birthday. Apparently, I got another $25 from my other aunt.
And the best gift of all is from my boyfriend.
He got me a necklace that I love so very much. I think it's perfect and it matches me very well. It's extremely hard to search for jewelry for me.
AND in FOUR days, will be my birthday!
The last day of the year!
I should be getting my new coat around then.- Posted Dec 27, 2009 1:33 pm PT

The More You Ask, the More the Answer is Going to be No.
This is to those who keep saying, "I want a signed copy!" of my book.
As much as I like to joke around and don't mind it when people say it, it gets a little out of hand when you keep asking if it's going to happen or you want it, etc. every time I post something that deals with my book (whether it's just that I'm posting how many words I have, saying I wrote a book, snippets of my book, things like that). Even when none of you know what my book is about or the genre, you still ask. It bothers me.
And this is constant. Every time I create a blog entry about it, I always see that by the same person(s).
Now, I don't know what's going to happen. If I already said that I don't know and you know already that I don't know, then it's staying at that. I'm not published. I don't know when I'll be published (or if I will ever be). Patience is virtue.
Like I said, I don't know what's going to happen. Right now, I'm in the middle of searching for a literary agent. That's a long process in itself. Getting published is another long process. And no, I'm not going to self-publish. Self-publishing is harder for the writer than getting published with a major house. Why? Because the author is doing all the work. Not only that, the author has to promote his/her book on his/her own and it's not in major book store chains. Major retailers (book store chains, etc.) do not accept self-published books or POD books to be put on their shelves. They do not know how well the books will sell. It's a lot harder to be a self-published author.
So, for now on, those who ask, I'm going to say no. Right now, there's only a few (and I mean a few) people who definitely are. I made my mind up about that a long time ago (two years). Anyone else who asks after I mention my book will get a no. You don't know anything about the book, you don't know the genre, you don't know if you'll like it. You haven't even read a short synopsis of it to know if you'll like it.
It's not even done being polished. I've taken eight days to work on it and have only managed to get through roughly 40 pages (right now, I'm on the fifth chapter). I still have chapters VI (6) - the epilogue. That's 300 pages more. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm not trying to be rude, but take it easy. Wait. When my book gets published, I'll mention it, and I'll even mention the date. However, I can't give everyone a signed copy. There may even be a contest or something. Until then, chill.

Edit: To Clarify -- there's a difference between buying my book and asking for it to be signed and asking for a signed copy. I can't give everyone a signed copy, like I said. That's just asking way too much.

Grotesque Appendages.
Okay, you're all probably wondering what the hell my title is about. Well, let me post this passage to explain:
...Fear licked my skin as I stared into its yellow, wolfish eyes. I glanced at and slowly felt the creature's body while its hot breath touched my neck; its pelt was thick and coarse.
It snapped at my face, its breath rotten. I wanted to sink deeper into the ground as I felt its hot breath again dance across my skin. Death struck my mind as the creature put more pressure onto my chest with its grotesque appendages wanting to tear me apart. I felt the cloth tear above my skin and feared the image of it happening to me. It was painful to breathe. I felt a lump stuck in my throat as I tried to swallow and breathe through parted lips. However, the rotten smell from it took my breath away...
Yeah...that probably didn't help any.
As you can see, this is my favorite passage of chapter II (even though short) of my book. Can you guess what I'm describing (the creature I mean)? If not, look at the spoiler:When reading my book, you'll understand it more. I wanted to keep the truth of them while mixing it up. Instead of having just one form, I have two. The human structure of it is the lycanthrope. Now, by now you should know what I'm talking about.

I just figured I'd make werewolves dangerous, but also disgusting, especially in the dark, like we have above.
Reason why I gave its paws the description of grotesque appendages (plus I wanted an excuse to use appendages. >_> )So that's my story.
Now, onward to what I wanted to write. I have been editing, as a lot of you know by reading my last blog entry, and I have finally been able to capture the voice of hatred that the main character has towards humans. Right now, the voice is just the hatred that the peregrine shapeshifters have taught her to have towards the humans without understanding why, and right now, she's seeing why. When it comes to the massacre, that hatred will grow. And I can't wait till I get there! I'm so happy with the edits I have made and glad that I have made them. I feel like my book reads faster and just all around better than what I originally had. I can't wait to read the whole thing and see how well it turns out and goes together.
Ta-ta for now!
