  What was the last great movie you saw in theaters?

  I created this because of a blog review I saw on Olympus Has Fallen and it got me thinking - What was the last great movie you saw in theaters? Mine would have to be Batman - The Dark Knight Rises (July 2012), but I'm looking forward to Star Trek, The Great Gatsby, and Man of Steel. I bring this up because Hollywood seems to be in the same rut the video game industry is in. They're stuck in this quest for high impact visuals but lack heavily in story, character, and creativity. Am I the only one that feels this way, or am I asking too much from the entrainment industry?
