  Year 2 With my Ps3

  Wow has this last year flown by, This last year has been a great year for us Gamers, not only for us PS3 owners,but even the Xbox 360 had some great games.

  Lets start with The 360 Gears of War 2 was my favorite game of the my jet engine machine. I found this game to be a lot of crazy fun and even learned that CO-OP can really be fun if you have a great game followed up with a few fun players to join you. One of my biggest gripes with Live has always been the lack of mature players to get into a online game with. I know many of you know whatI am talking about. there is nothing worse then playing a game and listening to a bunch of kids using cuss words and talking **** that they never would if they where right in front of you having to say it to your face. With this said I had several great CO-OP matches with Both Gears and Fable my second 360 game of the year. My final 360 game was The last Remenant, do to the lack of RPGs for the PS3 I had to at least try to get my fix in for the year. I wont say it was a great game but it did do it's job and fulfill my fix temporarly anyway. The sad news is I really didn't but a whole lot of hours on my Jet engine this last year and if this years lack of any decent games continues I will be just dusting it off every week.

  Now my PS3 has gotten a lot of love this year with some of the best games I have played in a while. First off MGS4 was the highlight of this last year. I layed hours of sneaky and even run and gun killem type games and no matter how many times I complete this game I still get excited everytime I start it over again. I can only name maybe a half a dozen games that get me that excited. This is a game the truely showcases what the PS3 can really do and it's not even using a fraction of it's power. The second game I just had to have was RFOM2 Wow not only did I greatly enjoy this game I even found out why I enjoy COOP even more on PSN then live. Boy has PSN really has come into it's in this last year with it's improved features it even seems in this gamers opinion come right in line with live with one exception lacking of cross game chat, but I'm confident SOE will impliment that sometime this year in a future update. Even as good as these two game where the best game of this last year and in my opinion has to be one of the best games I have ever played was Killzone, My god! I have never seen a console game look and play so well in my 42 years of life on this earth and the pity is as again this title hasnt even come close to pushing the PS3 to it's limits. What could look better then this game. The great news of this last year was a great game called Little big Planet Now this is a game that I can sink my teeth into. Lets be honest her , it's not the graphic power houses of the other games mentioned here, but what it lacks in graphics it makes up ten fold in creativity. For one it's a game that allows us gamers not only to play a game but, it allows use to exspand its gameplay by allowing us to create and show off our skills as developers. How can that be a bad thing? over the last several months thousands of very cool and fun creations have been added to the already long and fun game. Now a few multiplatform games can and have been added to my PS3 list this year and the first was CODtalk about a power house of FPS followed up with some great multiplayer action. The RPG of this last year was Fallout 3 now this had its faults being a port to the PS3 after many of us thought thows days where over , but even with they few faults this was a fantastic game to play and to be honest im still playing as of today i am even looking forward to the upcoming DLC.

  With E3 starting today I am very happy to say that I don't regret purchasing my PS3 on launch day at the hefty price of 599.00 Why so many people are complaining of the price of a system that even out does most home pcs in performance. I will say that I use my PS3 for more then just gaming. I do watch Blue Ray movies, listen to music store photos heck I even check and send email from it. But when I way the value of my PS3 and way it to other consoles thier is no comparesion to the dollar value. The best part is yet to come with some of the best games this generation of gaming with GOW3,Uncharted2,MAG,Grand turismo,and on and on. With titles such as these in the near future and the economy as it is I understand why concumers want a price cut, but have any of you been to a movie of late. I spent38 bucks with my Gf and I last week seeing Terminator. 19 bucks to get in and 20 bucks on snacks. The shame of it all was that turned to be the most exspensive hour and half of my adult life goignt o a movie and it wasnt near as fun as playing rag doll on my PS3 with my GF.

  So the moral to this long ass blog post is why whine about the price of a product that does as much as the PS3 when you get more fun in more ways from one machine then if you went to 10 movies over the next year. the best part of it is you only get to go to each movie one time for the price of admission, but the PS3 keeps giving long after you pay the admission fee. So what do you all think am I totally wrong here? is the PS3 a really good value even at 399? or do you believe Sony should cut the price and loose even more money off each console sold? I personally would rather see Sony spend money on games instead of loosing money on a great console and is unable to invest in great games, What do you think? please don't be bashfull this is a debate all thoughts and opinions welcome with teh exception of blatent fanboyism.

  My first year with my PS3

  It's been a little of 14 months since I purchased my wonderful black box of pure power. In this first year I have had the pleasure of playing some really great games and the dissatisfaction of playing some of the worst ports I have ever played. With this year at a close I am really excited about what is about to come for us hard core gamers. With the biggest titles of the year dated such as GTA4,Home,Haze andThe show, Even a couple of Mpl such as dmc4 that show how great games can look and play on my PS3 give me great hope to the next 9 years of piushing the envelope of modern technology to it's limits as we all seen with the PS2 which as of today still is outselling that box from microsoft...

  But as many of you know i own all 3 systems and enjoy them all for very differant reasons. My WII is for my young kids under 13 and is used for great family time type games, but as my kids are getting older they want more then cartoons that act as a game.

  My xbox 360 is great as a online FPS and even good for some sports action with great multiplayer. but of late I have become really bummed with the poor online services long download times increasing lag and my white box makes a jet engine noise to keep cool.

  My Ps3 has me enjoying some great ation games like Warhawk and RT3 with some great user mods i downloaded. I also am enjoying my new DMC4 and really love that rumble while flying my Warhawk it makes me feel like I am flying that fast and deadly jet while i hit the after burners.

  All in all I am saying this is a great time for gamers with som many cool games for each member of the family of for the entire family at one time. Instead of fighting over what console is the generation winner lets post to developrs to bring us the ultimute game that we all can brag about. Time after time i go to read posts on good news or bad news and all i read is 100s of posts yelling my console is the best and you all are suckers cuss you don't own it.. Really who cares. I dont i how ever do care about games and games should be the debate we all should be talking about..

  Well i have spoken my mind for today i really do look forward to the next 10 years of great games Don't you?
