Weekly Shows, Wii Fit, and Jay and Silent Bob
OK, this is my second blog with pictures... hope you like it.
So to start, what I watched on TV this week
Reaper - 1x16 - Greg Schmeg

So Sam and Andi are finally together... yay! But of course the Devil can't have Sam actually happy with his life. It turns out that Andi's ex-boyfriend Greg (who as far as I can remember she was only with a couple of episodes) apparently sold his soul to the Devil to make Andi love him. The Devil can't really do that so Andi loved Sam but was drawn to Greg or something. But then cos she didn't love Greg some manifestation of an evil chainsaw murderer from "Saw" came out of Greg to try and kill Sam... I liked this episode, but the whole thing was a bit confusing. Good parts were when Sam, Sock and Ben went over to Greg's house to kill him, except Ben bought the wrong ammo... hmm, would they have actually done it if this event didn't stop them and make them think... probably bot... Sam is too good natured... I'm surprised he actually went along with it to begin with. Anyway so stuff happened, and in the end Sam cashed in his "Get out of Jail free" card to free Greg's soul from the Devil... taht was probably best cos I agree, why would the Devil give him this card without some kind of trick.
My Name is Earl - 1x20 - Girl Earl

Finally we get back to the list... oh how I miss the list! So Ealr and Billie are now married, but Earl is finding Billie really annoying. He eventually accepts her quirks as something married couples have to get used to. So to the list - Earl stole stuff from this guy who was out of town for a 'shopping bag packing' competition (?????
) And so did Billie... Billie has now made a list of her own as well. So Earl has to help this guy by winning a the packing competition while Billie finishes her list in one day. Earl tries to explain to her the importance of making it up to the people they screwed over properly, and in the end she gets it. Anyway, it was pretty funny watching Earl become a "bagger" or whatever. I loved how they made a point of how he always raises one eyebrow when he is thinking... Joy and Randy both tell him it's annoying, and it was funny, the next time he did it he pushed it back down with his finger. I don't know about you guys, but I love his eyebrow thing... he looks so funny! Anyway, so we think that Earl and Billie are finally happy... UNTIL... Billie says Earl should shave off his moustache... uh-oh
Can't wait til the next episode... but I don't want the season to finish!Doctor Who - 4x06 - The Doctor's Daughter
I was disappointed that this wasn't a link to the Doctor's Daughter from way back in Series 1 of cla ssic Who... not that it makes much difference since I've never seen any of those episodes (The only old Who I've seen is a Tom Baker serial, and a few Peter Davison serials... as well as the '96 movie). So the Doctor gets a daughter... without his permission... and at first he doesn't really seem to like her... until he finds out she has two hearts like him... awww! another Time Lord? And he's happy! The story about the Hath and the Humans is a quite ingenious... glad Donna was there to take notice of those numbers. So the progenation machine (used to create Jenny from the Doctor) has created generations and generations of soldiers... so many that the originals are long gone and no-one knows what the war is about... or when it started... The Doctor figures out that the war has been going on only 7 days and breaks this ball with all these terreaforming gases in it. But sadly Jenny is shot by the human jerk. The Doctor has to suffer through the loss of another child since Jenny wasn't enough of a Time Lord to Regenerate... or was she... This is the part I don't get... Jenny was dead, then she breathed out that Time Vortex stuff... I though that the Doctor was only breathing that out in "Christmas Invasion" because he had absorbed it our of Rose when he was Eccleston.. why would she be breathing it out... and then when she came back to life... if they regenerate isn't she supposed to change appearance, which means she didn't regenerate, but just came back to life... it doesn't make sense... but I'm still ahppy... now there is another Time Lord roaming out there, and the Doctor will have to bump into her again! Happy to see Martha in this ep... hope she comes back again soon!
Wii Fit

So I bought a wii fit on Sunday... Happy to say I'm in the ideal range for BMI... just! It's a funny little thing this wii fit... you play these weird balance games and aerobis exercises... there are also muscle workouts and yoga poses to do... the wii balance board tells you how good you balance and posture is and keeps track of weight loss. There is this one game with hula hoops... you have to stand on the board and pretend you are hula hooping... it kills my legs

Jay and Silent Bob
So I've finished watching all the Kevin Smith films = Mallrats, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks II. My favourites are Mallrats and J&SB Strike Back.
Mallrats is a very good comedy... starring Jason Lee from My Name is Earl... about two guys who get dumped and hang out at the mall... there isn't a particular thing about the movie that I love... the whole thing was just really funny... and Jason Lee didn't look half bad 12 years ago
Man that is an old movie!
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was even funnier... the plot was pretty bsaic with a lot of side stories kinda thrown in.
I love how in all these Movies they are always referencing events or characters from the other movies... like in the J&SB movie they had Jason Lee playing both Brodie from Mallrats and Banky from Chasing Amy. Dogma was an interesting watch, which I think had some tinteresting ideas on the concept of faith, though if you are really Christian, I'm sure you wouldn't like it. Clerks II... I didn't like this as much as the original... I liked the Quick Stop, the fast food joint this movie was set in wasn't as good, and there wasn't enough talking back at the customers... and the whole thing with the donkey was gross! Just gross! It was funny, Jason Lee also made an appearance in this movie, but he has his "My Name is Earl" Moustache... lol! Ben Afflek had another rubbish bit of facial hair yet again!
Lastly, I made a Sci-Fi crossword a couple of years ago, maybe 18 months ago, with stuff from all the shows I was watching at the time.. I thought you guys might like to have a go at it.
Anyway... that's pretty much all I can say at the moment, but I think I've said plenty... I was thinking about doing a top 10 guys list... the first few are easy, but I'm still working on the other ones... maybe next week
Well, I'm gonna go and watch Get Smart on TV1 now! Seeya!- Posted May 13, 2008 1:53 am PT

TV Shows, MarioKart and Jason Lee
OK, so I got some tips from Rach (PunkNerd5) about screencaps, so I'm gonna try and include them in this blog entry.
Reaper - 1x15 - Coming to Grips

This was a reallay good episode... just like all of Reapers episodes. Finally, Andi found out about Sam, and as expected, totally freaked out. It was funny when Sock and Ben locked her in the boot (or trunk) of the car... I can't believe Sam didn't let her out. And I can't believe she would actually believe that Sam would murder someone, she knows him better than that. The evil soul for the episode was a bit dumb, but it was cool how he could grow himself from just a piece, though I swear Sam is a bit thick sometimes, it should have been obvious that he needed to have the pieces to send the sould back to hell. And also... making a deal with the Devil, you'd think he'd know better than that by now... But he is still so adorable, I don't know why it has taken Andi so long to work that out.
My Name is Earl - 3x19 - Love Octogon
I was really looking forward to this episode... finally Earl is out of his coma... though i guess he wasn't really in it for that long, not as long as he was inprison for anyway. This episode was alright (not as good as last weeks Killerball which was just hysterical though) but it lacked plot... all it was was Earltrying to find Billie... there wasn't any side story in the ep, besides a couple of brief scenes with Joy and darnell living in the Crab Shack (I reckon theycould've played with that a bit more), and Randy trying to catch that bird (Yay Randy... getting over his fears!) I was surprised how accepting Billie was of Earl... I would've been a bit put of by the whole "I dreamt we were married thing", butI like her so I'm glad it worked out... I wonder if this means she will be in season 4... I thought it was cute how in the Wedding Photo bot she and Earl had their eyes shut... perfect match?
Doctor Who - 3x05 - The Poison Sky
And finally the best show of the week, Doctor Who. I really preferred this half to the first half, though I agree with other people on this site that it was a shame Freema was mostly only in it as an evil clone., but I think she did a good job with it, a bit similar to the Cyberman influenced Adeola from "Army of Ghosts". Ahh, the good ol' self sacrificing Doctor... it's hard to get sad about his departure when you know he will be safe, and I was right in thinking that it would be Luke to detonate the... thingy. It's a bit of a cliche. Luke was really annoying, I'm glad he died, I don't think he would've been able to live with himself anyway... he nearly killed the whole world because he wanted to be "clever"... dumbass!
Some of the best bits were: "Are you my mummy?" obviously, I had to rewind it and rewatch, I couldn't believe it!... Captain Jack reference... Rose on the monitor for a second... Marth clinging to the Doctor after he escaped the Sontaran ship... she looked like a little girl
... the ending... that was a cool ending, I'm so glad Martha will be in next weeks episode as well... The Valiant... oh I miss that ol' Aircraft carrier... I miss the Master
. That cool atmosphere explosion... that was awesome... though i don't understand how planes and tall buildings didn't get burnt, or even a bit singed... Can't wait for next week's "The Doctors Daughter"... how awesome will that ep be!
MarioKart Wii
I bought MarioKart for my Wii yesterday... I've never been very good at racing car games, as I always just hold down the accelerator and crash into the walls constantly, though this game it seems that holding down the accelerator works ok... though I still have trouble when it comes to driving along roads that you can fall off.
Clerks and Chasing Amy
(Ben Afflek and Jason Lee) I decided to start watching the Kevin Smith films because Jason lee from 'My Name is Ealr' is in most of them... I thought it would be funny to see what him when he was younger... he looks so different with a full beard and moustache, instead of just moustache. The moustache definitely makes Earl Earl. these movies were funny... I like Clerks better, even though it is black and white... mostly because I don't really like all the talk about lesbians in Chasing Amy... I've got nothing against it, it just doesn't really interest me. For both movies though, I wish they weren't so crude... I don't know why films and tv shows think they need to swear heaps and talk about crude stuff to be funny... I guess that's just the world we live in... that's why I love Sci-Fi... it mostly (except maybe Torchwood
) doesn't have to resort to those typoes of things to be entertaining.Oh yeah, and Ben Afflek's beard is rubbish!
Well, that's it for this week... hopefully I will be motivated enough to do this every week... if I get enough comments, so please, if you read this blog leave a comment, even if it's just "I read your blog" so I know how many people have read it. Thanks

Happy Birthday Davids
Well, just thought I'd put a shout out to my two favourite David's who share a birthday today (18th April).
Happy Birthday David Tennant (37) and David Hewlett (40) , from my two favourite shows Doctor Who and Stargate Atlantis, respectively.
Eeek, what a way to celebrate their brithday... I had to go to the dentist to have a filling put in... now half my mouth is sore... but I'm happy cos it's less than 20 mins til the new My Name is Ealr finishes... will he wake up? hopefully, but i'm thinking next week is more likely, I guess we'll have to wait and see!
So far I think I've preferred the first Doctor Who episode to the second one... I prefer a lot of humour so I think that's why... I loved that Latin-Welsh joke they had... that was funny!
Well, I've run out of things to talk about.
