Hello world!

Well, we got our power back, but because we had a power surge, we lost everything because everything was fried. So we technically still have nothing...

Andrew asked me to be his girlfriend Saturday which was Valentine's Day! So excited about that! Loving every minute of it too!

An old friend of mine decided that she wanted to get back in touch with me. Intresting huh? More deets on that later...

So as most of you may know, Kentucky was hit hard by the ice storm we had on January 26th 2009. I live in a part where it was the worst, which is in the western part. Since the 27th, I have not had power what-so-ever, I am actually at school posting this right now....They are saying that it could be up to another 2 weeks before they can get back to us to give us power. I have been living with my manager from work for the last week....we actually tried to stay in my house, but the cold got really unbearable so we moved over to my aunts house, but im highly allergic to cats, so I moved in with my manager for time being.....

Update on life:

I got a small promotion at work, I am now a Team Leader, and even got a small raise! Yay!

I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years....long long story.....not really upset by it tho, I thought I would be, but apparently if I am not upset, then I feel like I wasted 3 years of my life....

I am definitely liking someone else....His name is Andrew...and is such a sweetheart! He calls me beautiful any chance he gets and is so adorable! I really like him!

Nothing else major really....just busy with work and school. I'll update when I can....Later gaters!

I guess now would be a good time for an update right? lol.

Christmas here at my house was awesome as it could possibly be I guess...New Year's was cool too.

I'm still tryin to watch as much tv as possible...I love tv, lol who doesn't? I've been watchin iCarly, which speaking of, iKiss? Wow, I honestly didn't see the whole Freddie/Sam kiss commin, personally I dont have a preferance on couples but I kinda liked the whole Freddie/Carly thing, I think it would be cute....but Freddie/Sam could be pretty intresting...I have also been watchin a little True Jackson VP, I think its intresting....Oh, my new favorite show is Who's Line is it Anyways....Not that I don't love my X-Files and Californication, but I gotta have something to watch when the seasons end.

I think I am gonna watch Spectacular!, because I think it looks like it could be a really good movie.

I am really startin to miss Zoey 101, it's been a year since Goodbye Zoey...wow it feels so weird that its over. Did I mention season 2 is out on DVD? I am gettin that and iCarly season 1 soon...

I love Gossip Girl...lol random, i know but a new episode is comin on tonight, and I am psyched! Yay!

I am also gettin South of Nowhere on DVD too...

My 1 year anniversary on this site is here in a few weeks, I think i'll celebrate with a cookie! I'll share with you guys! lol.

I swear to you guys, I have not dropped off the face of the earth......yet.....lol. I have just been so busy with work, it's not even funny!

This Sunday is my manager's birthday, and we all love her to death, so I came up with an idea to do something for her. I have a speech class, and I am supposed to write a speech on someone I look up to as a role model in my life. So I chose her. Her name is Christie, and she is awesome! Ever since I started working there, she is the only one who has a heart of gold! Well, I asked her if it's ok that I write about her for my speech, and she was surprised that I would choose her as my role model. What she doesn't know is, I am taking the speech I wrote, and I am gonna frame it and give it to her as a present. My co-worker and friend is making her a birthday cake, her favorite! Which is coconut! I also bought this humongus card and I am gonna have everyone sign it for her. We're celebratin it Saturday nite because she is gonna be off on Sunday. I thought she would love it! And she seriously doesn't know a thing about it!

Hello my awesome tv.com peoples! How are you?

An update seems to be in order! Sorry for the long delay.....Where to start?

Let's just start with the fact that I have been working to death all this week! I have been technically working since Saturday, but I finally have the day off tomorrow!!!! What a relief that is!! This is how my schedule is:
Monday: 12-9
Tuesday: 4:30-10
Wednesday: 11-9
Thursday: 5-10
Saturday: 4-11
Sunday: 4-11
There have actually been changes before this one. I was actualy supposed to work 2 splits on Monday and Wednesday, but they just asked me to work straight through. Oh well, this week is slowly coming to an end, and the paycheck will be oh so sweet!!

I get to see a friend I haven't seen in forever! We're gonna spend part of the day together, and then I have to baby-sit around 4-5 which is cool!

My body physically hurts from working all this week!! I am literally exhausted! I know I keep coming back to it, but I am just worn out! I think I am gonna get in bed now....lol. Nite all!!

An update from me! Weeeeeee!

Ok, to start off, yesterday was my daddy's b-day. He turned 41, but he still looks like he's like 27 or something like that. He has got that good hair genetics. Lol.

My Biology teacher was a butt yesterday, he gave us a quiz on our vocabulary, and we all had to sit as far away from eachother as possible. I sat in the back, and I had all my things from English, so I put them in the seat beside me. Well, when I can't think of answers to a test, I put my head down, or turn side ways (nervous habit) and he thought I was cheating. He took my test up and my English paper and gave me a zero without trying to prove to him that I wasn't cheating. I mean seriously, how can you cheat in Biology with and English paper?? Luckily, he is going to drop the lowest quiz grade, and that will be the winner...lol.

I got my new glasses, it was such a bummer, I now have to wear glasses most of the time...blah.

I got my financial aid check in the mail! It was over 2,000 dollars I didn't spend on college, and it went straight into my savings account! It was an amayzing feeling! Don't worry, it will be saved for the rest of my college years!

I got my new diet medicine in the mail! I have gained serious weight since i was a junior in H.S. and I need to lose that weight again! Don't worry, it's from my doctor. And I start tomorrow...lol.

Some more bummer news is I got written up at work yesterday. Now I know what you're possibly thinking....lol. Well, it had slipped my mind that it was my dad's b-day yesterday and I forgot to ask off, and it was only a stupid little 3 hour shift that I really don't need to waste my gas for anyways, but I called in, and apparently there was a call-in rule where you have to call-in 2 hours prior to your shift, so I missed it by 30 mins, (I called in an hour and a half before) and my General Manager, Laura, called me and told me that she was going to write me up for it. They weren't even that freakin busy!!! So she wrote me up for nothing, and I am valuable to that restaraunt, I take people's shifts when they can't work them, I come in just about every time they call me, and I stay late or come in early when they need me to, but when I want to stay home and spend time with my dad on his b-day because I never see him, and I call in, and miss the call-in time (which I never even knew existed), I get written up for it!!! Does that seem fair to anyone? It doesn't to me...

An update from yours truely! We did eventually get our power back. It took a few days, and then about a week longer to get cable and internet back! But I am back! Yay!!

So Californication the 2nd season starts tonite! I am totally psyched! I am absolutely addicted to that show! It is flipping awesome! Me luveth David Duchovnyeth! hahahaha.

Gossip Girl is creatin some serious heat, cannot wait for the next eppy tomorrow nite!

CSI: Miami started off real well. Yay for Horatio not being dead!

Loved the 2nd season starter for iCarly. It sent me in a fit of giggles! Shane wasn't that bad on the eyes..lol. Poor Freddie, he was so left out! Loved the deep voice tho...lol. He's a cutie.

In honor of Season 2 premiering tonite!

Alright, Hurricane Ike as you know came through Texas and then turned into Tropical Storm Ike. Well, it never decreased from a tropical storm and hit us with winds that gusted up to 70 mph. And this is in Kentucky people. It sure did feel like a hurricane, or a tornado even. Well, I am at the campus lab typing this up, seeing as how we (our neighborhood) wont have power for a few days, then about week later we may have cable and internet. A tree in my front yard, fell over and hit the power lines and caused the transformer and wires themselves to blow up in front of us. Putting the whole neighborhood in total darkness. We weren't the only ones without power. 2 counties next to us were considered a state of emergency. I had to go to work last night, and I ended up working from 3-11, and we were so busy because we were one of the few restaraunts that were open. I had to stay at work to get my homework done, because of lack of power, and had to go to my grandmothers this morning just to take a shower. We now have no food because all of it went bad. And alot of people got thier power restored last night, and are complaining because they can't watch tv. What about the ones like us who have to go without any power? Who don't have money to eat with or buy groceries?? Talk about selfish people in you area. Geez. So if you don't see me on this site for a while, that's why. Leave some loving comments, they may give me a smile when I read them.

So gas here in Paducah has reached an all time high. We went from 3.65 to 4.56 in just a matter of hours. Imagine me getting off work and fighting off like thousands of people just to get gas for 3.74 before it raises the bar. It's making me sick! I can't afford much as it is, but now this is just freakin rediculous! I just needed to rant about it for a minute, and what makes me really mad, is the fact the only us, Southeastern Missouri, and Southern Illinois (Metropolis) are the only ones who went up. Nowhere else is going up! I don't know how much longer this is going to be like this. It's frustrating!!!

Other news? Well, me and my boyfriend are going to be celebrating 3 years tomorrow nite! Thats the only thing exciting I can think of! Well, that's all for now. Til next time!

Alright, as you may have read my warning, what I am about to say could shock alot of you.

A few weeks ago, my church pastor, Brother John, preached a sermon about the return of the Lord. It was a 3 part series, and unfortunately I had to miss them because I had to work those Sundays. Well, my mom got ahold of someone who had the CDS from the sermon, and she asked to borrow them, so we could hear what he had to say. My pastor had possibly figured when the return of our Lord is supposed to happen. NOT saying that it will happen on this day, but it is a major possiblility. When Jersulam (sp?) was restored back to Isreal, or the other way around (I am sorry but this is coming from memory right now) it was roughly on the date June 1st, 1967. Brother John said that (I think) according to the Bible, if you counted up over roughly 17,500 something days (I am guestimating, I forgot the last 2 digits of that number) then it will end up on September 23rd 2015, which is (possibly) supposed to be the day Jesus sets foot on the Mount of Olives. Which is after the 7 year war, so if you go back exactly 7 years from 2015, what do you get? September 23rd 2008. Which also has to do with Yam Kappur, which is the Day of Atonement. DO NOT PANIC! Although this is really fascinating that my preacher had possibly figured out the when Jesus is coming back to collect his children that are rightfully his, and bring us back to Heaven with him, this does not mean that this could actually happen on that actual date. I choose to share this with you because if you are not a Christian, then you should seriously consider being one, not because of being left behind after Jesus comes back, even though that is a good reason to want to be saved, but because he is an awesome Savior! Aside from the news above, things are relatively great, my cousin is coming to stay the weekend with me! I love that girl to death! Well, that's all in the land that is my awesomeness!!

Yup! Starts Monday folks! I am very excited about it because we were left with such a cliffhanger back in May. But yea, so excited!

I work tonight....bummer....but only 3 hours, not to mention I have a meeting tomorrow morning at 8. Blah!

So apparently David Duchovny went to rehab for sex addiction. I, personally, commend him for it. That must have been a really hard thing for him to do, considering a plays a character who lives around nothing but sex and chaos. He is still my favorite character, no matter what. I am just glad he wants to get himself help voluntarily instead of it getting worse.

I watched one of his movies last night: Return to Me. It was really good actually. Thinking about gettin some of his other movies. It's fascinating watching him play different roles. That and he's still good looking. Lol.

So I am currently on a 4 day weekend....woot!

Hey there! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I just started college classes, and they have been keeping me kinda busy, but I will find time to keep coming to this site!

So as the title says, shows are making their way across the TV this fall for some new seasons! I, personally am looking forward to some Gossip Girl, Simpsons, Californication, CSI: Miami, to name a few.

What about ya'll? What are most of you out there looking forward to this fall?

Yea, I'm sure many of you knows where that comes from. While I haven't seen the whole movie, I was shown that part, and let's just say it corrupted my mind a bit. Lol.

So I finished fixing up my website with the help of my loverly friend Andrea! Give her some cookies because she is awesome when it comes to banners! Hence my banner was done by her, I gave her a picture and a quote and she helped make it happen! And it looks fantastic! Thank you Andrea!!!

So I finished the whole 1st season of Californication, and let me just say that I am now addicted to that show, not as much as my beloved X-Files, but it is very addicting. If you can get past all the adult related material, then you can see that it has a very good plot to it. I am highly intrested. Yes, it may be for mature audiences only, but I can handle it, even though I have just turned 18 a few weeks ago, I can watch it with a mature mindset. But it is still funny, it's kinda hard not to laugh at some things in the show. Lol.

School starts August 18th, which is next Monday. Woo hoo. I am actually looking forward to it, been kinda bored. Classes meet 3 days a week, which is just fine with me personally.

This October is gonna be oodles of fun! Starting with Fall break, I get to go on my first ever camping trip! Yes, I am 18 years old and I have never been camping. But I am looking forward to it! The week after, my family and I are going to be putting on a haunted house. It is going to be insanely awesome! Looking foward to it! It's going to last through November 1st, and will only be done on the weekends, with the exception of October 30th, which is on a Thursday, but will only run until 10 that nite. More details later in the game.

I am actually going to try and blog as often as I can, because I find it stress relieving actually. It makes me feel better later. Lol.

Later on today, I have to go to Volunteer Orientation at 1:30. Then work at 4, until 11. Wee, what fun. Hehe.

Today's news is I opened the restaraunt with Alma (she's spanish, but she is awesome!) at 7 this mornin, and I got off at 1. Work was overall fun, I learned alot about morning prep. and how it gets done. It was a good learning experience! And overall fun.

Today is Gillian Anderson's birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday Gillian!

Because I am in college now...and school don't start til August 18th! Hehe. Well, this is my loverly random blog post. I'm actually kinda tired today. I had to get up a little early to get on to work, from which I worked from 10:30-6. So yea, kinda worn out.

So I cracked and bought the Californication season 1 DVD. I haven't started watching it yet, but I watched the first episode last night, and it was so funny, and yet very raunchy....not suitable for young viewers. Definitely not. Hence the name I guess.

In other news, I am going to start volunteering at my local elementary school on August 21st. I would say the 20th (that's when the preschool starts school, which is where I'll be) but, I have classes from 8-2ish and I won't be with them hardly at all! But the best part is, every wednesday, I get to ride with my boyfriend (whom I never see) to college! Because we'll have the same hours of class that day! Yay! Isn't that awesomeness? Lol.

Well, I'm finally gettin around to my 50th blog post. Pretty funny. Well, the news this week is, I am the proud owner of seasons 1-7 of the X-Files, both seasons of Tru Calling, and seasons 1-4 of Three's Company. I wish they hadn't ended Tru Calling, I really enjoyed that show. They had done 1 season of it, then quit, then came back and did a second season, and quit again. And it was getting so good too. I hate it when that happens.

Same goes for Three's Company- the only really old show that I will watch, because it came on my beloved Nick at Nite:

I'm still pondering about getting into the show Californication- starring the gorgeous David Duchovny. I have read great reviews about it, and the synopsis seemed pretty good, but I'm gonna watch the first episode to see if I like it before I buy it.

Next on the news list, I am currently spending some time reading a book that a lot of you should be familiar with.....does Twilight ring any bells? Lol. I have just started reading it tonight, and even though I have only read the 1st chapter, it has most definitely captured my intrest.

Hmm, some other news I guess would be talking about the new Harry Potter movie coming out in November....I can't wait for that, and there are some other movies I can't wait to see either such as High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Saw V, Stepbrothers, (if I like the book) Twilight, and yes, I kinda want to see the Hannah Montanna Movie coming out next year...lol.

Wow, I'm only blogging to let you people know that I love David Duchovny....lol. He is my man away from my man. Ahh, so gorgeous!!
