22Dec 08Uh, is it just me, or did things get whiter?-_- *sigh* Seems like they listened to us....if only it wasnt the reverse of what we asked. To compare, the first redesign was like the first wave of destruction from an invading army while this last one was the 2nd and more devestating wave. I pray there wont be a 3rd, final wave of destruction. On a more positive note....oh wait, there isnt any. Well i for one am going blind, so once a week just to check my queue and perhaps pop in a couple blogs is enough for me.....what's HAPPENED to this site?!?!?!

Yep, it's that time of year again...long wkend!! *coughs* I mean the time of year where we eat turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, cranberry sauce, pumkin pie, and whatnot. XD The time when we remember how it all began on this once strange, unexplored continent. Anyone wanting to learn more, just wiki it.

Been busy with school, karate, and such. Comp's been a biatch, so yet another reason i havent been around. Gonna be sending it back and getting another that'll hopefully be better (seeing as this one isnt even a yr old and has ben sent back to them 3 bloody times already, unbelievable since it's SUPPOSED to be new and therefore perfect working order-_-) and so until i get it, i wont be able to come on.

5Oct 08Well i'm back and all...not much to say really. in any case, i see the next step is to make a list of the 5 things you most want changed, so here goes.
Top 5 (no particular order):
1. Definitely one would have to be the background, it's an eye strain. I do like the blue color, but it clashes with the white background. A darker color background would definitely solve the problem. As in a reverse of the current, having the blue being the lighter color and the background the darker color.
2. Get the glitches straighten out. Sure it's an impossible task seeing as the site's always had them and probably always will, but at least they're not the result of the redesign. The search engine seems to work one week and then not the next. 3. The smiley icons need to be fixed since right now you can only use them in blogs and not comments, which is a major pain. the same can be said with url links. You can link them just fine in blogs, but comments dont work. And in regards to comments, fix it so everything isnt grouped into a giant paragraph.
4. Hmm, what else to change...oh ya, emblems. Uh, what happened to all the emblems we used to have? I see that only the current ones for submissions remained. Not only those, but what about the Show/Person Editorship/TC emblems...i mean, half the fun of this site was to collect them, but now were missing some of them. 5. Though over all, the best change would be to go back to what it was before the redesign. In all honesty, there was nothing that needed to be changed. Ok, so maybe some of the new features are nice, but they could have been added without messing with the color scheme and design. I mean, it's just way more confusing to navigate the site...to click on one thing to get to another and then another instead of the 1-2-3 easy approach with the old design. Why fix something that isnt broken?

29Sep 08Been hearing a lot about it, but hadnt had time to look into it til now and i gotta say, i'm for it. A nonviolent demonstration of our dislike for something is always the best. 17Sep 08Ok, let me start off by saying, What the hell happened here? Sure i saw the previews for the changes, but i never imaged it'd be this horrific...i can't find a single thing, and the profile pg is a complete mess. And why do i have a feeling i'm missing emblems....*sigh* Sheesh, it took me longer to find how to create a blog then it took to write this. Everything feels wrong...just wrong. Completely smashed together, as if trying to fit more on a pg than it can handle....and um, why when i search for something and it says there are results that it display that darn error message??? The only good thing with the change is the ability to search for users...i've always wanted that option. And the color...sure i like blue, but there's a time and place for it...and this isnt it. I feel blinded when i look at a pg now-_-

22Aug 08*sigh* Had to send the laptop away a couple of days ago, so i'm forced to mainly rely on the PC (the retarted hunk of jumk...that i'm thankful i have to use, when i can get on it...-_-). Hopefully i'll get it back some time next wk. Ya, the same problem is back, so obviously it wasnt fixed....*sigh* It is but one factor as to why i havent been on much. Luckily the library system here is great, so i ordered a stockage of anime movies and "Wolf's Rain" to watch stead of the comp
PMs and now my Queue wont be checked til next wk since i dont have that amount of time to be on (i.e., wont be logging in). COurse, if a wk goes by and i havent gotten it back, i'll make sure to log in so nothing in the Queue goes over a wk. So for now, cya.

4Aug 08Heh, been busy...i know, you'd think summer would be the opposite, but ya right. But eh, it should get better this wk....not that i feel like changing much....
*sigh* It's been a year now since my dog passed away....and it hasnt gotten much better. Sure i can go about my day without thinking about it and acting all depressed....its just that when i do think about it, or when the pup reminds me so much of her.....well, it's just hard. A part of me died with her, and i'm still searching for it...an eternal search.
I just can't go back to the way things were before...to the way i was before, thats gone. Heh, and certainly my Grandmother's passing a couple of months after that was no help....so ya, definately still not even remotely back to the way i was. Just been watching tons of anime and reading...specially as of late...trying to just fill that gap...that void. Though i guess the best medicine to remedy that void is the pup....i dont know what i'd do without her.
Not really in the mood to make a grand blog...just to have to deal with the "html" from hell problems...so i'll just repost the vid i made for her and leave it at that. Cya all.
Oh ya, thanks again to those who voted for my design in the last blog (dantedones, MW, gad, logi...and whoever else who did but didnt comment). Lets hope it counts....i think it's announced the 8th or something.

18Jul 08Ya, ya, i know...it's almost the end of the month, so why bother? Dunno really, guess i thought it was worth mentioning...specially since i havent been on much Summer is suppose to be a time to relax, but i find myself busier than normal....-_- Though on the plus side, the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, came out. BOOYAH! I so wanna see it. Saw Gotham Knight (that tie-in anime short between the first and this movie) when it came out, so all set for it.
In any case, another reason for this blog was b/c i wanted to ask all you guys if you could please vote for a design i created for a contest so i can win....ya, i know, selfish of me....but i do want to win It's a shoe design contest and i, therefore designed a shoe that i thought would be cool, so if you would be ever so kind to vote for it, i'd be much obliged. Arigato gozaimasu Oh ya, the site is ryzwear and my shoe, if the pg doesnt change, the 2nd shoe from the 1st, the one called "Cool Dude", designed by 'cooldude613' (just one of my many online aliases)....though dont be confused, its not ordered as to which has the most/least votes, i think its when they were uploaded. Sorry the blogs late, just been having probs with the laptop....again....same as before i'm afraid-_- (which will explain for lack of material, just not really in the mood). In any case, probably gonna have to send it back again and get it repaired....there goes half a wk to a wk of comp use.....at least i've got the desktop...when i can get on...and when it's not a snails pace>_>
And wow, while searching for last yr's 4th blog, i saw my previous blog and had realized i had forgotten something about this month that i cant believe i did....it's NATIONAL ICE CREAM MONTH!! Booyah! I'll have to make a blog for it...

11Jun 08Heh, who would have guessed it's been 2yrs since i joined the site....two yrs....so full of history....lost in time...
Well i've gotta say that my first several months..maybe even close to the first yr went from great to good...but sadly this last yr has gone from good to ok. I miss the old days, i miss everything about them...guess you can say i'm in the present, but stuck in the past. I've accomplished a lot in this yr, these last few months especially, gaining over 40 Editorships and 2 TCs. I've even jumped multiple lvs and gained several new emblems....but it all somehow seems hollow...as if it's missing something. Anyway...been watching tons of anime shows, inlcuding many of the Spring shows, and am reading several mangas. I dont know if it's just me and what it is, but i get a greater sense of accomplishment..of joy...from watching/reading/completeing them than i do being on this site nowadays. I dont know what the future holds, but i do know one thing....it's not a very bright here. But enough with the meloncally....lets get this party started
Yadai, yadai (Japanese for "my, my"...as in an expression of understanding shock, as opposed to bewildered shock), it's been over a month since i last blogged...chalk one up for school work and such>_> Eh, been anime high and manga intoxicated....you can check out all the shows i've seen on my MAL account and then just click on the manga tab for my manga list.....and no, i wont list the ones i've recently seen since it'd too much trouble and a pain. If you care to know what i've watched these past couple wks, check my History.
Havent had the time to make more amvs, school and just had another karate test...i'm a Yellow belt now Not as high i was before, but i'm slowly getting there So instead i'll post a few projects i did for my animation classes. Hope you liked them as much as my teachers did (otherwise i might think they were just humoring meXD)
As a special treat, instead of a new amv, i've got a group project i had to do and thought why not show it....besides, one of my partners was kind enough to post it on youtube so it's no trouble to me He mentions that he did the last part, which is where it zooms in on the penguin. Then the 2nd part is our other partner, while mines the first (it ends where he catches the fish). ) Wow, cant believe it's been about a wk since my last blog....darn school work>_> Well in any case, not much to report...been playing some more Apollo Justice and believe i'm on the finaly case, it's good (though not as good as PW). Been watching/continuing some anime, check out my MAL pg for more info. Got some more Editorships, show and person....as well as lving up and becoming a Contribution Master, going for Sensei next

Edit: I know this is about a wk old, but i've been too lazy to post anything...ROSE IS BACK!! Yep, on Doctor Who, Rose Tyler has returned...somehow, she's able to cross the Void and reenter this earth's universe....dunno how, perhaps something to do with her having absorbed the Tardis's energy in the S1 finale, Whatever the case, she's like a human Tardis with no limits (since not even the Tardis can cross between those universes). Too bad she didnt send Donna hurdling into some space anomaly and be done with her..sparing us all. To be honost, i was hoping she'd slip and fall to her death..or be zapped....but fate wasnt so kind.

Booyah! After waiting a while for Shigu: Secrect of the Steller Wars to be on the site (for the first part i was hoping someone would add it, got tired and added it myself) and then it came thru the other day....almost made Editor in a day, but my last bit of subs were moderated too late for the update..*sigh*..so i got it this morning
Along with several others, including the founder of ANN and get this, Backstreet boys YAY!! Seems the previous Edito retired or was forced to retire...whatever the case, i'm Editor now!! *does the shika dance*Well that's about it, stil busy....yet managed to find time for all these Editorships...might explain why i'm so tired....darn schedule...>_>
Regarding Shingu, i cant seem to find air dats and was wondering if anyone knows what they are...since i know that it aired entirely, just dont know the dates

...the editor for Jouji Nakata. As some of you might recall, i've been trying since the end of last yr, after finishing Escaflowne and him being the voice of one of my fav characters, Folken-sama. Well i actually got it yesterday morning, but was too lazy to blog about it til today
