  Assassin's Creed 2

  I preordered this from GAME and got it the day before release. Maybe I ought to preorder from them more often if this is what happens. But sadly I can't add it to my Now Playing list. Oh well, will have to wait until tomorrow I guess.

  Anyway, what little I've played so far I've enjoyed. Will have to keep playing for more impressions of it.

  An Update on Me and My Ankle

  Well, since my last blog, hubby managed to find some underarm crutches online and bought them, they have been a lot easier to use than the elbow crutches I must say. But the weight of the pot/cast still hampered a lot of movement.

  This morning I went back to the hospital for an appointment to have a new pot/cast put on and an x-ray done. This pot/case is so much lighter it's ridiculous. And the x-rays looked really good to the doctor. I don't have to go back for four weeks and at that time they will take this pot/cast off to look at the stitches (although, they may have dissolved away by that time), take another x-ray and depending on the results of that x-ray I will either be able to keep the pot/cast off or have a walking one put on...I hope it is one I can take off...if push came to shove I could have mom send the one I have from when I broke my right foot eleven years ago...

  Hubby and I must be the unluckiest people around...

  Where to start...this last May we had to buy a new washer/dryer as the old one broke. Two weeks ago, just before hubby's carpal tunnel surgery, the lawnmower broke and had to buy a new one. Then he had the surgery and ended up in hospital the next day from a bad reaction to the codeine they'd given him for pain. Then not this last Saturday, but the one before, the heating element in our stove went out...so, we got a new element and replaced it. Then this last Saturday the toaster caught fire and we had to buy a new one...Then, to top it all off I had a very clumsy moment and broke my ankle...I was in hospital from Saturday afternoon until this afternoon (and now I'm thinking I came home too early as I can barely manage the crutches...)...I really wish they still did under arm crutches, all they have are these stupid elbow crutches...ugh! I hope this was the last of our run of bad luck...
