Lovely.
The macho need to play it on realistic to get the legend Acheivement has staggered me. But I feel proud at how far I've got. And believe me. There are some moments where my lack of forward planning in on the prior levels has left me up the creek without a paddle. I'd be a bad leader in real life, Because I happily send my two team mates to their iminent death at the hands of tangos. And then Get mad when they have the nerve to fall down and request healing. And I get very very mad when they have the bare faced cheek to go and die on me. As I said. My leadership qualities are questionable at best.
I'm currently sending them in head first into a chinese restraunt that is a death trap. And I expect them to clear house, as I've gotten all of the tango-frag offline acheivements I need. (500 terrorists killed. Nice and easy, as it records your kills even when you've died. And the 150 terrorists killed with a pistol was a guilty pleasure to achieve when i was strutting up the vegas strip with a S.W.A.T. sheild on one arm and a 92fs with an extended mag on the other hand. Hehe, BOOM, HEADSHOT!!
In my short service on the ranked matches of Gears of War, I've found myself teamed up with a bunch of quitters, spitters and sh*tters. Who make it agonising to play the game. As well as hosts who end games early just because the match isn't going their way. I never assumed the childishness of tantrum throwing would extend to the 'series of tubes' that are the X Box live servers.
Although, In the last 2 days, I've come across two hosts in particular who are a credit to the game.
So, Gamertags JFRESH12 BEATZ and ASH3 are preferred now. I recommend you look them up if you see that they're hosting. You'll not be disappointed. Well, unless you're on the losing team. lol
Anyhoo. Bed is calling me.

Another thing that is P'ing me off about it, is attack and defend matches with respawns. It's an excercise in futility unless you're the attacker. I gave myself an anneurism trying to secure the intel after it had already reached the helipad.
The tall and short of it all is, Don't get the game!!!!
lol
I'm mad at it at the minute. Until they release a patch for it, I'll not be playing anymore clancy multiplayer games.

And cue the cheesy elevator music, the distant anguished groans, the sounds of people stumbling and shuffling, Then abruptly follow it with the sound of a chainsaw Revving up! ![]()
Only two days now until I get to charge around the Willamette Mall as reporter Frank West. I recall early footage of the game (evidently before Frank had some plastic surgery to make him look a little more handsome) And I thought the game looked dull and repetetive, Just going on the original gameplay movie I saw. but then out came the second trailer, I was amazed at the swarm of undead viewable on the screen. And happy that the hero looked a little less ermm... Well you know.. lol. Oh, Yes, and the OOOOODLES of gore. I'm a gorehound. Hostel amused me....
Seeing as I preordered the game, I'll recieve it a day earlier than the stores are allowed to sell it. Naughty eh?
One thing that is kinda P_ssing me off, It feels like all of the game release dates are getting bunched together. Week before last was Ninety-Nine Nights, last week was Saints Row and this week it's Dead Rising as well as Enchanted Arms!!! I don't know if anyone else does the same as i do, but, I feel I need to rush through the last game I had in order to play the next game I'm getting. As what usually happens is, I put one game down unfinished to play another and lose track of the storyline (if there was one)
But it seems like there'll be a lull, video game-wise for the next couple of weeks, so I'll get chance to play my games. But I bet Lost Planet, RE5, Assassins Creed, Gears Of War, Alan Wake, Alone in the Dark, Max Payne 3 and whatever game on my future wish list are gonna be released in a chain succession, if not at the same time.
(above bit was sarcasm, as I've not properly checked release dates and such)
Blah. Roll on thursday ![]()

Well, I have been away from gamespot for a day or two, Just been playing saints row. It's amazing how ragdoll physics and free aiming can make a "GTA clone" better for some people than GTA itself. I personally think the GTA series has outlived its novelty. And I assume everyone who is/was faithful to the rockstar franchise will be badmouthing Saints Row all the way to the next gen GTA's release. And then if/WHEN it turns out that GTA 360/ ps3 is a mediocre title, all of those people will refuse to eat their words and play the inferior game. Granted, if it is good. I WILL eat my words and play it. But I'll stick with my guns if it's just a blatantly average next gen cash in that rests on the reputation bulit up by the other games in the series. I'll probably get dogged for this by anyone glancing over my page with a love for the GTA series. cue abusive comments and what not. lol. Anyhoo, opinionated mini rant over.
Who ever thought insurance fraud could be so entertaining??? LoL. Finally got my gun shop discount too. And a nice shiny mansion.
One storyline has been cleared up fully now. It was quite short, but it's alright.
I'm having a ball.

Helloooo people!!
Figured I'd have to start myself with a blog now. I'm usually extremely bloggy on my myspace page, Which I choose not to plug.
I'll see how my videogame and non-videogame related rambles get me.
So.. . . I'm a sectoid.
Those bug eyed aliens off of X-Com or so I believe. Blah, ramble.
Purchased N3 or Ninety-Nine bad voice actors to the non 360 savvy. I enjoy the game ardently. Although there are niggles, I play it through out of a genuine curiosity to where the story would lead.
Traded in the Outfit and Prey too. Got Moto-GP '06. Wasn't sure if I'd like the game. It being a motorbike game that involves a track and all. i thought It'd be nice to try something new. The only motorbike game I have played or remember playing, other than excitebike
was Microsoft Motocross Madness, and I had a ball on that. Moto-GP however..... Well. It Is Good, Excellent even. It's just that ..erm.. I'm not. lol. I had no clue about what settings to apply to my bikes breaks and suspension and the like, I ended up leaving the first level with an extremely bad first impression. Mainly because the bike I was using handled like a Drunken Moose. And there were some painfully unforgiving corners on the qualifying track.
Oh yeah, Saints row in two days too.
I hope anyway. I preordered N3 and recieved that a day early. Mebbe I'll have the same thing happen this week. Should do.. i've eaten my greens and everything. lol. Anyway.
