Guitar Hero III & II Shenanigans

    Monday June 2, 2008

Guitar Hero II & III Epicness: Well I'd call myself a Guitar Hero fanatic. I've beaten Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce on Expert on Guitar Hero III, and just mere minutes ago, I beat the hardest Guitar Hero song ever made, Jordan on Expert, for the first time. I was freaking out you can't even believe. I even got an achievement for it on my 360! If anyone out there has Guitar Hero III for the Xbox 360, hit me up. My gamertag is Adelfish.

Indiana Jones: Well since the new Indiana Jones' opening, I've seen it 3 times, and still it makes me laugh. This movie is of course not as great as the original Raiders, or the Last Crusade, but this movie still lives up to my expectations. Many people did not enjoy it for the "futuristic" aspect of it. This movie is not futuristic, it simply shows how the technology of temple was really constructed, and shows that martiansd introduced modern technology to the world.

School Countdown: Finally, only 4 days of school left, and Friday, end of the year field trip!

Song of the Day: Jordan by Buckethead

Guitar Hero Daily Charts: Jordan by Buckethead - Expert, Hardest Guitar Hero II Song

Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce - Expert, Hardest Guitar Hero III song

    VIDEO GAME REVIEW- Halo 3

    Halo 3

A very special game. The third in the Halo trilogy, continuing the story of Master Chief and the great story of the epic war between the human race and the Covenant.

I will split the review into 2 parts, one being the single player story, the other being the online multiplayer

    Part One: Single Player

Halo 3's single player campaign contains 9 missions, that tell the story of Master Chief fighting the Brutes and the Prophets, and trying to save Earth from the Halo rings. The overall story is good, but in a way very confusing. If you aren't a legendary player, you won't be able to see the "true" ending to the story, or you could be lazy and just look it up on youtube! The missions are very fun, and full of action. Many of the missions require backtracking, espeically the second mission which involves you running back and forth through a military base trying to eliminate all enemy forces. Some missions also bring you to previous locations that were seen in earlier missions of Halo 3. The ending wraps things up nicely, but also leaves you wanting more.

The missions have some very memorable moments, some of the most memorable in the entire Halo trilogy. I remember the first time I walked through the jungles and heard the Brutes roar, or when you must fend off two Scarabs with a small strike force of Mongooses with marines firing rockets on the back. And who could forget Master Chief's final effort when you must drive the puzzle-like platforms to escape Halo.

Overall, the campaign was a great ride. Although sometimes, the difficulty by yourself feels overwhelming, and as I mentioned before, the backtracking. The game was fun, but it is better played with friends on co-op for a more rich experience, and the thrill of the story may be ruined if you go through the story searching only for achievements and skulls, and not enjoying the story.

    Overall: 9.6/10

    Part Two: Xbox Live Multiplayer

The Xbox Halo 3 Multiplayer experience, is like nothing you've ever played (unless you've played Call of Duty 4 ). The same Halo feeling is in here, and the main game played is 4-4 Team Slayer, just like the old Halo 2. The game adds something new though, the leveling system is more deep than it was in Halo 2. You get new pieces of armor for doing special things on Xbox Live, like scoring a certain amount of sniper kills will get you a sniper helmet. This gives you more of a reason to play.

Those are some of the great things of the multiplayer. The bad things of the multiplayer, are those kids who you get who will not shut their freaking mouths You just wanna punch them in the face. Or those kids who team kill, and don't even try. The game is supposed to be fun and some people are just out to ruin it.

The multiplayer experience is still amazing besides those few things. You can even download new maps for Halo 3, even though they are extremely overpriced Or the new concept of 4 player online co-op mode for the campaign makes getting the legendary achievments and skulls that much easier.

    Overall: 9.7/10

    FINAL SCORE: 9.6/10

    Starting Blogs...Wednesday

    Wednesday March 5

Hum, well today I'm starting to visit this website more frequently, not just doing the Avatar RPG like I normally do. I've decided to start posting daily blogs.

Well today was pretty darn boring. Aced my Spanish test, and today was a Late Start day so we got to go to school from 10-2:30 instead of 8-2:30.

Then I got home, and now I signed up for an Expert Guitar Hero Tournemant, and if I win, I could get a Wii, and a 150$ Best Buy gift card!

Now for the rest of the night, I plan to eat some dinner, play a little Guitar Hero III, possibly some Call of Duty, talk to my girlfriend, and finish up some homework.

Song of the Day: Slither by Velvet Revolver

Also daily I'll try to do video game or movie reviews on scales of 1-10 just for fun.

Thanks for reading, and any comments would be appreciated
