After picking up both orange box and crysis, it was easy to tell that both games were better than the more hyped halo 3. I knew orange box would be because Half life has always been superior to halo. Team fortress 2 is the best multiplayer shooter to come out since counter strike source. Crysis while not as good as tf2 was also alot better than halo 3 especially in campagin. If you have a decent pc you should look for crysis if not you might be able to handle tf2.

Ya so i just entered my last year of high school,I'm 17, and i don't have a big schedule anymore. So i can game more and be a more active member on the boards. And I plan on sticking around this time. Well its good to see you guys again.

After my 360 broke about a week ago i have been left with a decision to either re-buy it or buy a ps3. Both have a library of games that i would play but i can't figure out wich to get. I'm wondering if any of my friends from here have a suggestion on what they prefer.

Maybe its just me but i'm seeing a trend with long runing franchises starting to get stale. Really my biggest problems have been with the Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy series. Legend of Zelda has always had good gameplay and most likely always will but the story in the most recent one wasn't bad but really wasn't up to par with the older ones such Majoras mask, ocarina of time, or a link to the past. That aggravates me and what aggravates me more is my all time favorite series, final fantasy, isn't living up to its former self in any spectrum. First of all its story of XII  just seemed so blah and only a couple of characters have any personality. And there really isn't much story at all there might be approximately 8-10 hrs of story for this 40 hr game and the rest is beating up little creatures. The bosses while tough aren't half as epic and half don't have any purpose or reason to be there. The gameply would've been welcome but i found the gambit and licesne systems to be an annoyance. The audio also got quite annoying. FFX had an awesome story with plenty of memorable moments which helped me through the sometimes tedious sphere grid.

Really all i'm saying that my hope for the series not as much zelda as final fantasy is depleting, with games such as FFXII, FFVII: DoC, and FFXI. THis is all just my opinion and i will most likely keep an eye on the series and purchase the games because im a sucker and because the series has produced my favorite games ever.
